stare its amazes me how dense you can be sometimes Stray, Dracula was called the Prince of Darkness, he's not really royalty (atleast to my knowledge) its just a title, so to follow their father's foot steps, they take the title of Princesses of Darkness. Yes they are cheerleaders, what would two sexy, seductive, power and blood hungry vampires' day disguise be? Head's of the school's computer club? *knocks on Stray's head with cane* HELLO!!!! ANYBODY HOME!!!! Think McFly, think.

To Zane, I can't see the picture in the link, but I see Aqualad as like a half-shark being, possibly similar to the Street Shark's (to old?) design though not as buff.

Technically he was a voivode, which I believe was a hereditary station, so he was something of a king, but his role was more like.... well, a Count. Dracula being called Prince of Darkness seems a misconception, because I'm pretty sure those words don't appear at all in Stoker's actual work. And even if they did, the whole thing is just a collection of a small handful of characters' journals, so it's actually THEM referring to him as Prince of Darkness and not a title he used for himself.

I could easily see them being heads of photography club. The two reversing their surname seems to be an attempt to hide them (albeit in a rather silly way) from discovery, so why place themselves in the spotlight when they could more easily influence things from the darkness.

Just referring to them as sexy and seductive though tells me you're not really going much farther back than Interview and just using Dracula to give them some history. They're not actually monsters, just.... vampires, as vampires are viewed today.

:: Again! Can't we argue in peace?

Its title Dracula is known by, why change what people know?

Right because the heads of the photography club are the real puppet masters of highschool's society.

Trust me they're monsters, sure they may not be simple theives or murderous canibals who jump back and forth from being a hero and a villian, but these sisters will f*ck with your head, scare you senseless, and just when your wittle heart can't take much more, they bite and drain you dry.

*points* he started it.

I dunno, photography just popped into my head when I started thinking about dark rooms. XP Yeah, now that you put that way that was a lame idea.

But... was that a reference to Tom? biggrin No one ever mentions him. Sometimes I think no one read his bio or was reading any of those posts. Probably just my own insecurity or something though. @_@

Well anyhow, I wanna see it in action! Ultra-grainy ultraviolence!

They don't need to be in darkness, hell they've been stuck in a box in a dungeon underground for the past 500ish years, they'll be putting those amulets to good use to explore the... day life? They like to be in dark places but don't need to be.

Please, I go through everyone's profiles, honestly I thought he was Saquatch + Jack the Ripper. Gotham already has an ordinary old fashioned psychopath, his name is Victor Zsasz, you know, kills 'zombies', props them up, cuts a tally mark into his skin for each victim. In a city full of super villians like Gotham, the ordinary isn't in high demand.

Heh, street sharks...I remember them...

Victor Zsasz is such a one-dimensional psycho though. He's so obviously psycho that you can just write him off as a psycho, and that's what people do. I wanted to make a psycho that you had to wonder if he was sane. Or a psycho that you'd cheer for. He was never meant to stay a psycho though. It's... complicated. The explanation I mean. The idea itself is complicated too. It's all complicated.

Link still doesn't work.

THAT'S IT *smacks both upside the head with stupid stick, uses it to gesture to seperate corners of the room* Eric! You go stand in that corner, and Stray, you stand in the other, and both of you face the wall.

*growls* Until I let you out, you aren't allowed to so much as look at the each other! Instead I want you to take this time to sit and think about WHY you can't have a civilized discussion with each other, without it degrading into an all out slug-fest.

Does the all-powerful Tana make herself clear? *smacks stupid stick against open palm*

No he wasn't.... he looked like a fancy noblemen who happened to drink blood out of people's necks.

I think the reason we can't have a civilized discussion is because every time we make an attempt it's treated like the next World War. I don't really think either of us were particularly over-the-top at any point.

And sometimes guys just need to slug it out. It happens even with the best of friends. This wasn't even one of those situations though, we were just talking.

That's what I tried to tell her via text but her Tana senses told her it would turn into round two. Though I think the main reason why she gets after me as is to avoid favoritism.

Well I can understand that. Mod powers are tough sometimes. I've seen favoritism get nasty too. There's a girl in this guild that had one of the crew ask a girl (who's a good friend of mine) to leave just because she thought she was annoying, and it was months before I actually found out that was the reason. There was a huge falling out, a mass exodus, the queen bee kicking out everyone she didn't like, and meanwhile the rest of the crew was trying to convince everyone there was no hard feelings. I was hanging on on by my fingernails.

The girl got her own guild and I joined it but stayed in the other, and everything's settled down, but the queen bee won't talk to me anymore.

And speaking of the D-man, here's that handsome devil now.

Just look at that mustache and those big, bug eyes. Sexy. Actually, I think the mustache has somehow fused with his lip. And he might be kind of sticking his tongue out a little.

Vlad the impaler may have been a sight to behold back in the day. You gotta think of sexy by the standards of that time frame. As for the original vampire myth they originally had buck teeth (which sort of makes better sense, easier to manage with buck teeth (even though it looks silly) than with canines, elongated canines will take chunks out of ones teeth if a person isn't careful)
I think the first movie vampire was Count Orlock from Nosferatu
http://www.sepiachord.com/images/Nosferatu.jpg sportin the bald hair creepy fingernails and buck teeth =D

I love vampires, but sort of fell out of touch with them as twilight became more and more popular. I much prefer vampires like those in the Vampire Chronicles, Cirque du freak, or the ones in the anime Hellsing.
