Kelirahc chuckled. "Your ada?" he repeated, his tone curious. "Who is that?"
He had a feeling he knew who it was, but he just had to ask to be sure. After all, the last he knew, Lin had been quite oblivious to Earendil's feelings: for all he knew, she could have had someone in her own world.

It was the easiest question in the world, Miyuki held out her doll to Kelirahc and exclaimed, "Ada of course!"
It was a clear sign she had fully accepted this as fact when she couldn't even call him by his name anymore.

Kelirahc laughed and reached out to tap the doll lightly on the head. "Ah, of course!" he chuckled. "Earendil. Well, I had to make sure."
He grinned at Miyuki. "And now we're all going to go on a trip together, right?"

"Right! To visit Mummi and Ada's friends and Ada has to help them."
She understood this, though she didn't know how much time this would take her ada away from her. At least she didn't know yet.
"And we're going on a ship," she paused for a moment to think about it before nodding.
Because honestly she didn't know what a ship was.

"We most certainly are," Kelirahc agreed. "And a better ship was never built. You will like it very much, I am certain."
He patted her lightly on the head, looking around. "I think we might be heading back soon ..."
As the words left his mouth, Amalirahc returned, grinning widely. "Neko says we will leave Galion in charge, we have to start loading the ship so that we can leave tomorrow!"

Miyuki didn't know how these things work, so she figured it being that fast was normal. Even though ada said they were going to stay a few days.

Amalirahc grinned at his childhood friend. "Tomorrow!" he repeated in agreement. "The letter came two days ago so Nako says we've had lots of time to get ready, all we have to do is load the caravels and then we can leave!"
"Tomorrow," Kelirahc chuckled. "We will load the cargo tomorrow. Today we just finalize plans. Calm yourself."

Because that seemed like a big deal, even though she couldn't imagine the ocean at the moment.
"Does this mean we go back and tell everyone we're going to leave tomorrow?"

Amalirahc giggled. "Of course we're going to tell them!" he told Miyuki as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "That way they can pack things too!"
Kelirahc chuckled. "Yes, yes, come on, we will go. Go find your grandfather."
Amalirahc grinned and ran off again, and Kelirahc held one hand down to Miyuki. "Come, let us return."

It was rare Miyuki held other people's hand. Kaito didn't count because Kaito grabbed her. She stared up at Kelirahc but decided since she couldn't stick with Amalirahc (which she told her Mummi she would). Amalirahc's ada would count somehow.
She took his hand and nodded, "Okay! Then I get to tell Ada and Mummi."

By the time they reached the door, Amalirahc and Roydon had caught up with them.
"See?" Amalirahc grinned up at his grandfather. "That's Miyuki! She was at the Borderlands with us!"
Roydon chuckled. "Hello, Miyuki. Nice to meet you. I've heard quite a bit about you."

While not taller than Kelirahc, she couldn't help but stare up at Roydon. Only because she didn't actually know him at all.
"Hello," she waved at him, "You have?"
She didn't know how was it all these adults knew her when she didn't know them.

Roydon grinned. "Sure I have. Leyenda is my daughter, and Amalirahc is my grandson, and they've been talking about you since they came to live with us. You made quite an impression, I think."
Amalirahc beamed at his grandfather. "We played together a lot, with the blocks and in the snow ..."
Roydon chuckled. "Yes, so you've said. Many times."

She didn't get it, but she figured that was a good thing right? Miyuki smiled though, she liked playing with Amalirahc, even if she had a sliver of a memory of having been annoyed with him once.

"Sand can be fun!" Amalirahc grinned. "When you add water, you can make things with it just like snow! Except it doesn't melt. Maybe if we have time I can show you!"
He liked playing in the sand, but he knew that if there was no water around, it could be hot and ... get everywhere.
