User ImageTo see him looking at her so.... it made her blush more, that tingling burst of warmth rising from her chest. Her heart was already beating faster than she would have expected, not initially understanding why. But she didn't ask. She smiled, the line somehow amusing to her, chuckling a little as she rested her head against his shoulder, her forehead just barely touching his neck.

It was so very strange. Just a day ago and she would have felt nothing towards leaving this place. Now, she really hoped she wouldn't have to leave. Not unless it was to go off with him if he'd have her. But, she guessed he wouldn't mind. Though, then she wondered about her sister. What would Sheryl do? Tag along? How would she feel about that? She could already guess she wished she had someone. Oh.... did she like Seiji too? No, she wouldn't have been as ok if that were the case.

Snapping out of her thoughts, she took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. It was nice to just sit like this in each others arms. She felt very... at peace. Despite any and all thoughts that whizzed past in her head.

User ImageIn all his travels, Seiji had never made a connection with anyone as quickly as he did with Ranka. In a way, it puzzled him to think that he had just met her the day before. The fact that he had taken a liking to her so quickly, it surprised him. What was even more surprising was the fact that she was returning the very same feelings, even if she didn't completely understand them yet. Not that it mattered, at this rate, she would understand even some of the more complex emotions.

Was it normal to fall for someone to quickly? Probably not, but Seiji didn't care. Feeling Ranka become more at ease, Seiji leaned inward slightly, tilting his head forward letting his rest against her gently. It could have been a romantic scene right from a book or a movie. He wondered if she understood romance at all, or if the concept was a little more clear after all this. The two of them probably looked like lovers that could never be torn apart. Sheryl would probably laugh at them and tease him some more if she were awake right now.

He was sure she would tease him some more when she was in better shape. With Ranka slowly understanding more and more, Sheryl might even tease her sister as well. How would Ranka take that? Seiji smiled as he thought on it. The imaginary scene caused him to laugh a little. Sheryl spouting teasing words, Ranka blushing furiously. It was bound to happen sooner or later. He knew it would.

(sorry i didnt post for a while. i wasnt feeling great and then by the time i started to feel good, i couldnt think of what to write. I should be okay now though. Sorry again))

"Know let me think here... I've killed many people in my days so just hearing 'brother' from you doesn't specify anything... brother, brother.... ah! I have only killed a few children in my life, they don't put up much of a fight you see, so it's useless to attack them, but there was one darkness user boy that was actually very strong for his age. Blew me right out of the water, so to speak. But I wasn't the one who killed him, that was you, wasn't it Elly?" the figure answered her and smiled evilishly, staring down into her eyes. She could feel herself loose some consciousness as his whole eyes turned a misty black, to posses.

User Image

Suddenly, Elly was free from that stare for Vira had made her power reach the bad guy, breaking his concentration, though his grip was still there. "Looks like your little friend over there wants a little action also..." the guy said and looked over at Vira, the darkness flowing from his fingertips as though someone just opened a lid. It was traveling up through little cracks and air pockets, building up to break free from the ice and also to travel through where the water came from, flowing visibly through the air towards Vira. "No! I won't let you hurt anymore people!!!" Elly yelled, her own eyes becomin a misty white. Her light traveled with the darkness, just as fast as his was sent and as it mixed with it, it caused an explosion, though not close enough to hurt anyone.

She then felt her hands become crushed more and more as the guy got angry and tried to break free from the ice that Vira put on him.

"You know what, I was the one who killed your brother but the thing is, I could have been stopped... I wonder who you know that can travel through time.... perhaps Master Atlas, yes? I wonder why he never went back to prevent that from happening... perhaps he was something against you, but what could that be? I mean, you are only great at light and nothing else, and there are always light users. I bet he's seen this moment too but hasn't stopped me from killing you? That doens't seem like a friend to me... i suppose I should telly ou my name before I end your life little missy. They call me Obidel the Shadow, though my specialty is darkness. I guess I cast a shadow of fear and death on my victims, kind of how I possessed your body to kill your own brother. Maybe I should possess silly old Atlas and have him kill you... that would be a great turn of events!" Obidels said, so Elly, very closely to her face and then laughed and made it very veyr loud, like a booom of thunder was descending upon Estelle Academy, Elly unable to think straight to do anything.

((Aww, glad your feeling better. my exams still mean limited posting just so you guys know smile ))

As the fight got more intense Jareth pushed Calcifer into a trot, the two moving in a circle around the blast radius of the explosion. The fae's icy features were set in a frown, clearly deep in concentration, wondering if he should give assistance. Although he was certain he should not help with Elly, he felt Vira to be a different matter. After all, Obidel had no claim to Vira...yet.
Leaping forwards Jareth and Calcifer got between Vira and the battle, the large horse easily blocking Vira from the view of the two fighting. Looking down he offered the green haired girl a hand to climb onto the horses back.
"These self-obsessed warriors often forget important information such as the flow of certain destructive energies." he said in way of explanation, rolling his eyes like an exasperated parent.

User Image(( Yay! Glad that you are feeling better not. ^_^ ))

As she felt his head rest so gently against hers, it made her smile, color flushing her cheeks. Was this... normal? It had to be normal. She could recall passages of books that described scenes like this. It felt surreal for this to be happening to her of all people. She closed her eyes for a moment, taking in how she felt at that point in time.

Though, when she heard him laugh, she opened one eye, the other soon following as she looked upwards towards him. "What is so amusing?" She asked him quietly, somehow managing to tilt her head a little bit.

User ImageVira narrowed her eyes on the man, about to make the ice shatter into his flesh when Elly suddenly shouted. She had been ready to counteract the shadow in the air with her elements, brows furrowing. Bringing up her hands, she spun the air around her to deflect some of the force, still getting knocked down.

Pushing herself up quickly, she didn't care about what he was saying to Elly, he had hurt her. He was messing with her head. "Snap out of it Elly! Come on!" She shouted, blinking as Jareth upon Calcifer appeared in front of her. What he said relaxed her a little, chuckling as she took his offered hand, swinging up onto the horse. His hand was so cold, though it didn't bother her. She was used to having to deal with cold temperatures. "Thanks." She murmured, turning her eyes to the two fighting.

Try this. Her brows furrowed, gripping at the ice around his feet. They suddenly spiked and shattered, aiming to stab him through his legs and feet. Twisting the air that was moved from the force of the shattering, she made it razor sharp, making it flow upwards to his chest and arms to slice his skin. She remained wary, realizing full well this may only succeed in angering him, but she was ready to deal with such consequences. She was pissed off. Hell, she wanted to shout at the guy, but withheld the urge since it would get them nowhere.

Elly tried her best to loosen the rip from Obidel, the last thing she wanted to do was be around him at all. When Vira shattered the ice to hurt him, Obidel cringed and loosened his grip briefly, just enough For Elly to egnite her light and counter attack his darkness, deflecting it from around her wrists. As though burned, obidel flinched and jumped back, shaking his hands as though putting out a fire. Ellys eyes became whited out like they had before, and she blasted her light in a radius around herself, kind of like the ring on a planet. She stopped, her arms up in a battle stance in cause he was waiting, though he wasn't. Elly looked all around, but she couldn't find him and that was scary for he might be doing something inside eth school or he might attack from above or from somewhere else. Elly decided to close her eyes and concentrate on Obidels darkness, something that was very easy to pinpoint for it was a high level of darkness

User ImageIn all his years of training, and his recent years of travelling, Seiji had never imagined himself in this situation. Not having a true home meant he had planned to roam until he could no longer do so. Now, Seiji felt as if his place was here with Ranka. Or at least, where ever she might be. Was it strange for him to feel so? Perhaps it was rushing things, but he had a feeling that his destiny lay with her. If she would like, he wouldn't mind being with her for the rest of his days. That much he knew. It was such a strong connection after such a short amount of time, he couldn't help but feel otherwise.

He smiled, wondering how to explain it to her. "I was just thinking." He replied. "About....what Sheryl might say if she were awake right now." The scene played through again in his head. Sheryl would come up with something when she woke. Seiji was sure of it. "I've no doubts that she would tease me again. Maybe you too...now that you understand the situation a little better. I was picturing how funny that moment might be. For the both of us. Then again we'll probably find out once she wakes up again."

User ImageThe fact that she was still holding an impact upon such a powerful enemy was making Vira giddy, the wind swirling around her one arm with glee. Her swords dissipated back into spirits, the wind almost seeming visible as she went to attack again when he had suddenly vanished. Blinking, she winced at the bright light, water slowly flowing down her other arm as she waited to see what would happen. For her it was harder to pinpoint him considering she could really only sense two things really well. Breath, and the water content within a persons body. If she really stretched, she could sense their blood. But she felt a little uncomfortable going that far since it usually meant she would lose control.

Grimacing, she glanced about, noticing a form up by the roof of one of the buildings. Tristan. Idiot, what are you doing?!

User ImageTristan had gotten caught up elsewhere amidst this chaos, having been rather close to where Obidel had originally appeared. It had been a good thing he was in his spectral form otherwise that could have been rather bad. Right now he was trying to decide what was best. Help out the fight, or keep the cafeteria safe. Considering who was guarding it, he wasn't really worried about those students. No, he was more worried about the ones in the eye of this storm.

Swooping up out of the building, he felt his form pulsate, the glow from his eyes brightening as his form darkened into a more substantial black. Drawing out his sword, it was a pure almost indigo purple, seeming to have lost it's physical form as well. He remained overhead, noticing that the enemy seemed to have vanished for the moment. The only reason he didn't move in closer was because he had no idea how he would end up reacting to the darkness the man was controlling.

User ImageRanka blinked, glancing to her sisters meditating form. The stab wound in her shoulder was almost completely healed, both hands looking completely normal. Her side and leg were still pretty badly damaged, but it was expected that they wouldn't be done just yet. She laughed a little, blushing faintly as she could only imagine what her sister would say. "She-"

User Image"Oh don't think I can't hear you. Lover boy." Sheryl opened her good eye, smirking to the two of them. Opening the other, it was a bit of an odd sight since her eye was only partially grown back. Barely at that. So, for the moment, she kept that eye closed, chuckling as she watched Ranka lower her eyes. "How adorable, you both planning on leaving me behind at some point?" She teased, coughing with a slight wince. Damn all her organs weren't fully regenerated.

"Don't answer that. Wouldn't want to be a third wheel anyways." She held up a hand, sitting up further against the wall. The blood seemed to be gone from her face and neck, having been used to heal her head wound and her eye.

As Elly looked around in all directions, concentrating on his advance on hiding his darkness. She was starting to get paranoid as she thought he might posses Atlas. Atlas! She had forgotten all about him and she didn't even think that he was injured for real. Without a second thought, she rushed over to him, only to find out that his body wasn't there. Sighing, she put her hands on her knees and took a breath, smiling, knowing that he was safe, where ever he was. She looked up to see that Tristan was over head and she waved at him, not so happily, but there was a hint of a smile there.

Unfortunately her sliht happiness didn't last long for she was suddenly knocked to the ground by something that was now holding her down by the back of her neck.
"What a spirited young girl you are! Your friends are very spunky as well, I wish i had them in my army of darkness, but then that would mean I needed to posses them and... well you know how that goes, too much work and all. But you, oh yes your abilities would do very well in my army. your light is... troublesome, but mixed with darkness it would be very unique... yes, yes... though you cannout control your darkness... Ah! But I know someone who can! It wouldn't cost much i'm sure, infact, he'd do it for free! But who is this person I am speeking of? Why, that would me me of course!" He said in yet again, a caniving voice and laughed at his own misleading joke, which was rather bad. "What makies you think i'll let you do th-" yes Elly was interupted yet again and this time by Obidel himself. He pushed her neck and head down to the ground, muffling her speech and as he did this he lit his body in a darkness arura and his eyes were a flamming purple as he absorbed some of Elly's darkness that was being sucked into his own.

As the darkness combined into each other, Obidels body became a bit misty, kind of like Tristans when it wanted to be. Suddenly it was sucked into Elly's body, Obidel's body gone, and Elly's motionless on the ground. She twitched her hand a bit and groaned, getting up and rubbing her head. When her eyes opened, there was black where white was and white in the center of her eye. A smiled, evil in nature, spread upon her lips, which made her look like a villian. A laugh issued from out of her mouth, but it was a mix between her sweet voice and Obidel's ill intentions.
"Ahahaha! This power, it feels greeeaaat!!! Man, why didn't she use this before? Oh that's right, i'm the one who hindered it, just for this occasion! Ahahaha!" If possesing Elly's body wasn't enough, he had unleashed his and her darkness all at once, the earth rumbling as a massive building size orb of darkness was forming from Elly's slender finger tips. It mixed and swirled with white, the combination of an elemental made bomb that was very dangerous if something snapped and made it explode. Did anyone really risk doing that, kinowing Obidel could kill everyone on campus?

User ImageVira watched her run to where Atlas had fallen, glancing to Jareth as she bit her lower lip. She didn't like this. She didn't like this at all. Where was- The wave seemed so calm, but then hell broke loose. "Elly!" She started to move but stopped herself, especially when she saw him possessing her. It was like her body just clenched up. "GET OUT OF HER YOU SON OF A b***h!!" She screeched, starting to slide off of Calcifer, a strong wind gushing through. She stopped it short as she saw the giant mass that grew from her friends fingertips, her hands falling short. She couldn't attack her. She couldn't.

"Elly..." She felt helpless, falling very still as she saw that bomb just hovering there. What could be done? She couldn't make enough ice to protect them. She knew how that would burn and eat at it in seconds. She could do... nothing. Tears welled up in her eyes, finding herself shaking. And hating herself for it. Glancing up to where Tristan was, she found him gone, her eyes darting to Elly. No... he wouldn't.... Tristan, what are you-

User ImageTristan was long gone. The minute he saw her gone down he vanished from sight, slipping into the ground nearby. No. No he was not letting this happen. The minute he saw her possessed something sort of snapped in part of his mind. Get the hell out of her you b*****d. Since he was using his higher abilities due to the power charge from the darkness, his essence would seem to be gone, much like how a ghost vanishes completely only to reappear elsewhere.

God.... this was going to hurt. But he couldn't let this happen. He shot forward, doing the one thing he told her he would if she got out of control. He just hoped this would work. Shooting up through her feet in the ground, he felt how crowded it was inside of her, but since Obidel was possessing her, now he was possessing him. He felt how it burned to be inside of her but he didn't care. Gripping her hands, he focused as hard as he could to try and withdraw the mix of the elements that was making that bomb. Essentially, he was the bomb squad deactivating it. No matter what the cost. "Let... go.... of her!" He shouted in Obidel's head, holding out for as long as he could until he was sure that bomb was disarmed. If he could manage to force Obidel out, that would be a bonus but he doubted he could do that much. Elly... Please fight him and live. I know you can do it. His essence was getting eaten away rather rapidly, the only reason it wasn't going faster because of the greater amount of darkness in her.

User ImageSheryl seemed to slip in and out as she pleased. At least from the moments she had been awake to make her comments. It was perfect timing on her part. She seemed to wake up at those exact moments when her input would be most effective. Or rather, most surprising. Seiji watched as Ranka lowered her eyes, his vision slowly moving to Sheryl. It'd been odd to think that she might have been listening in on all of this. He had assumed she was unconcious and unable to hear anything.

He had heard of people being in unconcious states and still having some subconcious form of their surroundings. It could have been the same case with Sheryl. All this time, he had thought that he and Ranka had been talking in a somewhat private manner. If Sheryl was kind of listening in as well, what would she be thinking?

He couldn't think of much to say. How was he to respond to something like that? Of course, some of this was speculation, but most of it was truth. He meant the things he was saying, he just didn't know how things would turn out in the future. "Mm. Well.." He trailed off, still not finding any suitable words. Even if Sheryl was teasing and joking, he wasn't sure what to think of the whole matter.

It was all a blurr. First Elly was there on the ground and the next, nothingness. She had felt the darkness loosing control and before her mind could say no, it was gone. But Elly didn't just go unconscious and then wake up and find everyone dead, she was somewhere else. She felt as though she were in a dream, floatin around in nothing but a sky blue room. She wondered where she was and then saw something in the distance. She swam towards it, her body only floating there as she did what she could to get moving. As she drew closer, it was someone standing on the ground and closer yet, it was Atlas. Elly was so glad to see him but then what Obidel told her came to mind. Atlas looked at her apologetically and she was shocked to see it. "So it's... true... you could have gone back in time and prevented Bobby's death and you could have gone to the future and prevented this, couldn't you have?" she asked calmly at first, but then a bit more hurtfully.

User Image
"Elly you know that if I saved your brother back then, things would be different. I cannot change a series of events that happen for we all have thing written for us that cannot be altered. I have always wanted to disobey the rules and save him, but you have such an important role in the academy that would have happened regardless. If I had prevented your brothers death, someone else would have had to take his place, perhaps your mother or father. I have also seen the future and looked grim but I thought with changing what I could, things would be better. I learned that the hard way though.

Elly, You need to wake up. Tristan, he's battling Obidel inside of your body as we speak and if you don't do something now, he could die under the preasure of three bodies in one, both with darkness and light abilities that could crush any other person. Elly, I know this is askin too much of you and im not sure what is going to happen now, but I need you to loose control. We all need Tristan and Obidel out of you, regardless if you kill him or not. You will be saved..."
Atlas had said, first in a sad voice but then in a more pleading one, one Elly had never heard of before. It had to have been serious for he was always the kidder. Especially the last part. There was a bit of sadness, unlike any he had just described. Elly then understood and as the vision on Atlas became hazy, the feeling of too much weight was inflicting her and it actually made her feel sick.

Tristan and Obidel were battling it out inside of her, Obidel trying to tak over Tristan, Tristan trying to possess both her body and Obidel at the same time. Elly couldn't take it, but could gain some control in her arms. She imediately lit her hands up and put them to her head. She screamed out loud as the light ungulfed her body. She tore her hands at her head and attempted to pull Tristan out, her screams going louder as she used more light to get him out of her.

"T-Tristan, you need to get out... i-i'll be okay be my own now, I have the strength to. Please get away from me... I don't want oyu to get hurt. You're more important to me, no matter what," she told him in a serious a firm voice, almost as though she were crying. Obidel all the while trying to posses her with darkness, which was now raidiating from her arura. Also at this time the sun was going down and the mermaids were starting to emerge and take form of legs, climbing onto the land and throwing weapons and shooting fromt he waters.

User ImageSeeing how the two of them seemed at a loss, one from embarrassment, one just... well... at a loss, it made her laugh. Though, this was cut short since it hurt to do so. A lot. Wincing, Sheryl seemed to flick at his forehead, manipulating the slightest bit of his life force so he would at least feel it. "Sorry. Normally keep my subconscious aware at the very least when I meditate. Usually I'm still aware though." She apologized, turning her gaze to her sister. "Ranka. Watch yourself ok? I don't like-" She stopped short, feeling a massive energy reading come from the lake. The fact that it was outweighing everyone else here was substantial.

But as soon as it was there, it was fluctuating, making her brows furrow. "Ugh, been here three days and shits already getting out of control. Ranka, be ready. Do you-"

User Image"I already am. This will be close." She said softly, straightening up so she wasn't resting so much against Seiji. Looking up to him, her eyes seemed to hold a deep sadness, reaching up a hand to his cheek. She felt an urge, one she did not understand, but... She moved forward and kissed his cheek softly, a blush in her cheeks and yet infinite sadness in her eyes. "I'll be back soon. Take care of Sheryl for me." With that, she rose up and slipped into a portal she opened with a small motion of her wrist, a bitter chill following after her.

Sheryl sighed heavily, looking to her sisters new boyfriend. "There's... someone who may drift one way or another. She has to be ready to take care of him if he slips towards one. Don't worry about her. I'm more worried about the state of the school. The mermaids are getting active." She said softly, coughing up a bit of blood. s**t. And I can't do a damned thing.
