Unrelinquished Despair Unrelinquished Despair Name of weapon: (Give me suggestions when you judge? 0x) [Kunai Form] [Sabre Form]Who owns the weapon: Aya Gensai Where it was found/Who made it: It was a sword that Aya had found in the storage of her house in younger years. She had been told that it was a weapon of the family. The Range of the weapon: 42" Weakness: There is a split second pause when the weapon is transforming, where Aya has no actual weapon in hand. When either elemental ability is activated, the blade to susceptible to being easily broken by a solid strike from it's elemental weakness. Description: What most people see when looking at the weapon is just a fancy kunai. When chakra is pushed into the weapon, it morphs into a saber 42" (Hilt: 6", Blade 36") in length. The blade itself has no special properties other than being a chakra conductor. When conducting doton chakra, the blade is dulled, and hardened, being able to withstand stronger attacks at the cost of one chakra point per post. When conducting fuuton chakra, it becomes sharpened and has an inch extension on the blade from the chakra. It also costs one chakra point per post. RP Sample:Aya stood with a straight pose, looking towards her opponent with a stoic face. She had been given the task of killing him with only a weapon, as training for finesse, even if she was a taijutsu user. Neither of them said anything, and in the next moment, the man before her charged, holding a regular kunai within his hand to strike at her. The moment before his kunai could meed with her fair skin, she drew her own unique kunai, parrying the attack with ease. She stepped forward, attempting to slice the man even though he had jumped out of range of her kunai. In the length of a second it underwent a transformation from a simple tool of the shinobi, into a full-fledged sabre, and took the man by surprise, cutting deep into the left side of his abdomen. His trained reaction was to step out of the blade, letting his fresh wound bleed freely. Apparently he wasn't out of the fight yet, since in the next moment he was summoning forth a giant axe from a scroll, swinging it overhead down onto Aya's figure to cleave her in half. Quickly, she brought her sabre up to intercept the axe, pushing upward with the hilt, and the blunt end of the blade. Instead of breaking the sword as it hit though, the axe stopped at the blade after pushing it down a few inches. How 'bout now? ( Sorry for the long reply, completely missed this. xD )

Name of weapon: No official name.
Who owns the weapon: Anna Lucas "Kaya"
Where it was found/Who made it: Who made it is unknown. She found the gloves on her trek to Konohagakure. It is presumed that they were made in a now-ruined village with a brilliant blacksmith and found their way to her.
The Range of the weapon: It depends - usually it's just around her, but she can send the shields to defend others if they are close enough.
Weakness: If she gets caught off her guard, an attack can reach her before she has the chance to put up the shields. If an attack hits the crystal(s), and if it(they) crack(s), the gloves could be damaged until another similar crystal is found to replace the original(s).
Description: A pair of sleek, black, fingerless gloves with a soft, diamond-shaped crystal (meh, that wasn't clear...the crystal itself isn't soft, the shape is...does that makes sense...?) in the middle of the back of the hand. The crystals are a light, icy blue and glow when in use. The gloves allow for wall-like shields to defend Anna or another person (they're kinda like Haku's Crystal Ice Mirrors, but the shields can be broken with enough force). The shields can be made to take other shapes, but it requires more concentration/chakra than their primary defensive function (i.e. the shape of a blunt, heavy object to whap somebody upside the head with. Lol).
Rp Sample: (An eventual battle smile The enemy wasn't in her line of sight, but Kaya knew they were there. Her guard was up and her gloves were glowing, her hands at the ready. Her eyes scanned the clearing suspiciously, narrowing at the sound of bushes rustling: the preemptive sign of an enemy attack.
Her teammates knew she could defend them until the enemy had revealed themselves; they knew they wouldn't have to worry about dying while in the protection of the shield kunoichi. That was her role, after all; she was pretty much a distraction. While her teammates fought the enemy, she watched the battlefield and defended her comrades in case an attack came too close.
When the blade of the katana of an enemy came within six inches of her distracted teammate's perimeter, Kaya sent her shield to deflect the blow of the blade. The blade bounced harmlessly off of the shield, leaving the enemy momentarily confused. While the ninja was confused, Kaya's teammate quickly finished off the enemy he was currently fighting and, having heard the "whoosh" of the shield so close to him, turned around and dispatched the secind ninja.
Kaya turned back to her other teammate to find him cornered. Kaya raised her arm slightly, forming a shield and forming it into an object not unlike a baseball bat. While the enemies were distracted by her teammate, the heavy object lurched forward, slamming into the back of one of the enemy's heads. The others turned around with slightly wide eyes as the object flung itself into the face of another, breaking the ninja's nose with a sickening "crack". Kaya's teammate smirked slightly as the ninjas that had cornered him were preoccupied with her, giving him the chance to go on the offensive. And with her first teammate finished with the ninjas he had been fighting, the three of them attacked together, taking the rest of the rogues down.
When they finished, the three teammates looked back and forth at each other and the leader smiled.
"Nice job, guys. Ready to go back to the village?" Her second teammate groaned.
"Hell yeah, I am. I'm so freaking tired and my shoulders are cramping!" he complained good-naturedly. Kaya just smiled.
"Me too. I think I'm ready for a nice bath." Together, the three ninjas walked slowly back to their village, ready for a well-deserved break for fighting.

@Official: It seems like a good idea, but from how your rp sample demonstrates it seems like it has a potential of being a bit... too much.
*) For one thing, how much chakra does it take to make a basic shield defense, and even more so, how big will it be. Make a chart of the chakra output and the sizes of each equivalent shield.
*) From your rp sample, it looked like your character was actually protecting and launching the shield out to block the attacks. That seems a little... more on the Bleach side of things. But, if you make it to where the shield only forms in-front of Anna, that would seem more acceptable.

 Name of weapon: Violet Glow Who owns the weapon: Katelyn Where it was found/Who made it: you can choose one or the other, you can use both if you want) - It was found deep into the tallest tree, hanging onto the very top branch. Katelyn had discovered it as she was trying to pull her skills off by climbing the tallest she she'd ever seen. The Range of the weapon: Close range seeing as it's a sword. Weakness: Ice and fire. Ice because if it turns into an icecube, it cannot cut but only block. Fire because it will burn it, rendering it useless as the owner will not be able to touch it without burning herself. Description: A large pink sword, which has shiny metal and at times you can see it shine in the sunlight. Rp Sample: The tip sticking up high into the sky, the opponent waiting to come near Katelyn once her guard was down. Circling the opponent like a shark in the ocean. Gliding up the top of the tree, she waited for a perfect chance to jump him before hopping downwards. In the corner of the opponents eyes, he quickly caught a glimpse of Katelyn before sliding to the side. The opponent charging forward along with Katelyn had emerged into both swords clashing, each crossed over the other. Both pulling with force trying to knock the other out of place. Katelyns grip starting to numb up, she needed another way of getting out of there. She quickly kicked her feet at his, knocking him off course. Not feeling the need to kill him as she would feel guilty, she quickly left the scene of the crime, hoping to not have to put up with the battle anymore or have to kill him.

( Sorry for the long reply, completely missed this. xD ) @Unrelinquished: In addition to everything, I'm going to have to say that it takes seven chakra points to transform the weapon each time. You yourself said afterall that you're pumping chakra into it for that change, so why you wouldn't have a high chakra cost for that is beyond me. Not to mention that every member and their mother seems to like submitting weapons that change according to element. The concept is rather unoriginal, and it irks me to see so many people come up with the same basic concept. It's no offense to you in particular, but that's just the truth of the matter as far as elemental weapons go.

 Name of Weapon: Ten and Chi (Heaven and Earth) Who Owns The Weapon: Karis Dae Tengokou Description: Karis' dual-wielded folding fans can also be connected and extended to form one giant fan, which can be used as a club or to block attacks. The fan is able to dodge some small projectiles such as shuriken, being made out of metal itself. The edges have been sharpened to resemble that of the sharpest razor, but this is disguised by the fact that the fans have been overlaid with rice paper. Only the very edges are visible metal. The frame of the fan (excluding the outer body) are also titanium, but are overlaid with rosewood. The frame of the fans have the Kanji for Heaven (ten) on one and Earth (chi) on the other carved in and inlaid with a dark varnish to make the words stand out. Ten and Chi have another ability that makes them unique though. They can be connected and extended to form a larger single fan. Weakness: Ten and Chi do not resist heat well. If struck by a Katon jutsu, the fan(s), being made mostly of metal, are known to reach scalding temperatures. There is a cost of four chakra points* in order to connect and extend the fans, which also applies to separating them. When connected, the fan(s) become heavier and are hard to direct once swung by the wielder. Abilities: -At the cost of an additional three chakra points per jutsu*, Ten and Chi, when connected and extended, increase the power of any Fuuton jutsu used by the wielder by one rank. (This CAN NOT be used until Chuunin rank.) -Ten and Chi also double as Summoning scrolls (Only applicable to the Weasel/Mongoose Summon. Ten summons the Weasels, Chi summons the Mongooses.) Where it was found/Who made it: Forged by Sares Demascus, Blacksmith of Water Country Range of the weapon: -Individually: 15 inches past arm length -Connected: 3 ft. unless a jutsu is used. (N/A until Chuunin) -With a Fuuton Jutsu: N/A until Chuunin rank *These numbers ARE reflecting any benefits that the wielder (Karis) may receive from a bloodline, shinobi type, or profession.

@Shay: Do you already have a custom weapon? Cause if so, you actually can't apply for one until chuunin, I just can never remember if the sword you already have has a custom property. Still however, I think this is a weapon made for a chuunin, not a genin. Also, as far as the first asterisked item, that cost SHOULD reflect any benefits you have. So, it should always cost four chakra points to do that. As for the second item, you can use it for the weasel summon, but I'd very much prefer if you used summon scrolls like everyone else for anything else. If you were a summon specialist I might consider it, but being a weapon master that seems a bit much. Other than those three things, I really don't have a problem with the weapon.

@Luo: Sorry I didn't see that, I hope the Ougun doesn't disallow to make fix mistakes with a Custom Weapon that I already had in the cycle.
I'm okay with that chakra cost, however, would I be able to lower it since my RPC is a Weapon Specialist, and she has chakra control? Maybe set it to 5 instead?
I'll do away with the elemental properties thing, it was just something I threw in there because I thought my weapon was too boring. I just got a great idea for this weapon, but I don't think I'd be able to use it unless I was a sealing master.
Basically, there would be a summon seal along the hilt of the sabre once the kunai morphed into that. So, at the cost of another five or so chakra points, another blade would extend from the hilt (As well as extending the hilt a bit so it's manageable.) turning it into... I guess a double-bladed staff? No clue. @.@

NOTE: Because it doesn't fit as a custom 'technology' I was told to send my application here, not as a custom weapon but as a 'blueprint'.
Village Specific Rice Country [Secretly mass-produced]
Technology Name: Hand Crossbow
Technology Power Rank: D
Description: Honestly, it's nothing more than a compact crossbow designed to be used covertly and without waving a large slab of metal or wood every where. The crossbow can fire darts or bolts but almost all projectiles are virtually soundless when fired. The ammunition for the 'handbows' are very small, never more than six inches, and release barbs once they penetrate a target. The bow is still strong enough to knock a shinobi off their feet when they are taken by surprise, but this is only at close range.
It takes a full post to reload.
Weakness: Due to its size it lacks the power and range of a regular crossbow, unable to fly more than seven meters or pierce anything harder than light armor(a flak jacket is considered light armor).
