Lirina strode up to the obstacle course, with a renewed air of vigor. There was no greater confidence booster than not being voted off after the last challenge's result, confirming in her mind as an asset to the team. Honour demanded that she pay them back, so that in the future she may defeat them (if necessary) in a proper battle.
After a quick survey, the first trap... erm, test looked to be straightforward enough, if messy. She put her new energy to work at the wire crawl!
Lirina was thoroughly coated with mud by the end -- counting herself lucky for avoiding scrapes at least -- but it was the mud of VICTORY. Therefor, she wore it with pride.

Oh my. That was quite a cliff. Not as awe-inspiring as the mighty Red Cliffs of legend, but when one was a small audio camper, it was enough to cause unnerve. She would never take for granted the scaling of natural land masses in RISK ever again.
Again, it seemed straightforward enough with no alternative approaches, so Lirina dug her claws into the cliff face and began her ascent.
The rough climb nearly proclaimed defeat in the form of hidden land mines. WHAT. Her ears were still ringing as one had gone off nearby, barely able to keep her cool and continue up the cliff. It was a bit harder to claim partial deafness as a victory prize, though she would certainly claim it so to any that asked. If she heard them.

The gator pit stirred dismay within the dragon-imprinted audio, drawing up memories of the last challenge. "This time it will be different," she said to herself, hardening her resolve while her inner doubt continued to churn beneath the ice. Gripping the rope tightly, she launched over the watery doom with as much momentum as she could muster!
There were teeth and splashes of water and what Lirina could have sworn was a tiny top hat -- but in the end there was the touch of the soft earth under her paws. It had gone by quickly, though she did not hesitate to let go of the rope after landing safely even in the blur of the rapid obstacle. A smirk edged across her face as she glanced back to the gators, who were denied properly this time.

Lirina curiously peered into the ball pit of the fourth obstacle. The log would be a bit of a balancing act, however these happy plastic balls seemed so unlike the camp so far. Sharks, acid, Chef's cooking -- anything was more likely than the nostalgic image. Something was amiss. She put a paw upon the log cautiously.
FAPPO! Lirina wasn't very far along the log when a projectile seagull hit her squarely in the face. Scrambling back up to the bank, she cursed that her perfect run had been ruined.

So that was the secret, eh? Shoot her own cabin's mascot at her?! Shaking off the disappointment at failure, Lirina redirected her emotions towards determination. That Chef character was proving himself more and more a villain than Chris. Of course, this discounted that she could not completely equate their host -- their pseudo-leader -- to the enemy. Chris simply needed to be usurped.
Now concentrating on avoiding zooming gulls, Lirina stepped onto the log again. This time, her paws found sure footing, and her mind correctly calculated the trajectories and probabilities. Skidding to a halt, she took a tired, but exhilarated seat at the finishing grounds. Despite her fatigue at the very physical trials, a voice egged her onwards, recalling the earlier instructions that it could be repeated.

She got up and tried agine after watching campers go through three or more times. She failed so bad her first time around, would she get through the wires? She slowly made it through and made sure to make her time. She poked her head up a few times and took in deep breaths even though the mud was close to her mouth. She smiled she felt good this time.

She saw Lirina trying to make it through 'The Beaver Balance' she shouted before she started to climb "Girl you can do it". She then got her self a good grip and tracked on up. She felt like she was doing good , but she never knew what would happen. She moved nice and slow and took her time. She was trying to get the mud off herself and wasn't really thinking.....

Yes, completing the course again could be an excellent way of showing her worthiness, fufufu. The shouted encouragement from her fellow teammate was its own bonus! Riding on adrenaline, Lirina found herself in front of the wire crawl, mud still caked to her fur from the last encounter.
Unfortunately, the path this time was much grimier! It forced Lirina to poke her head above the wire, not only resulting in scrapes, but also being wiffed with a water balloon. Well, at least she was a bit cleaner. She scrambled backwards to rethink her approach.

She almost fell off when she cought herself.
She was now going for the 'The Gator Pits '. She took hold of the rope and shouted " GATORS YOU BETTER NOT MESS WITH ME". She was thinking of many things as she swung. She almost felt a gator get her. Maybe she shouldn't of shouted that. She thought she was fine, but was she?

After some moments of quiet calculations, Lirina thought she had determined where the path had gone awry. More careful and less rash with excitement, she tried again, this time discovering a dusty way through the course. Since she was wet from the water balloon, some mud still formed on her fur, but at least it didn't ooze into her very soul. Maybe it would make the next challenge easier.

Marina didn't make it , she fell off with out a gator getting her. The mud on her hands made her slip. She quickly swam to safety , she didn't like being in gator mouth. She got back on the rope " Im sorry" she said as she smiled to the gators. Now that she failed once more .. she was wishing she hadn't done this.

The cliff was no less imposing as it had been before, its familiarity offset by the knowledge that a KABLAM could lay beneath the craggy footing. However, known variables could be tamed. Steps and grips were chosen after much scrutiny to their likelihood of containing anything but mountain underneath them. The strategy proved successful! Much better than a very near miss.

Well getting some of that mud off her was nice. Now it was time to go through what some people said was the hardest part. She knew this for herself since she almost didn't make it. Would luck be on her side?

She made it , she now cheered quietly for Lirin. She wanted her to keep on keeping on with out being distracted. She knew this wasn't the easiest of things to do the four tasks. She was doing really well.
