quietsnooze "I was lots of places. I sent some pictures in one of my letters, y'know, and apparently it was one of the events for a contest. It's just like Mum to screw me over like that with my terrible pictures and all.." He brushes and smoothes out a wing in contemplation. "But, yeah.. bringing home Milla was a highlight, and well, the whole fifth thing.." He lifts his head all of a sudden. "Did I even tell you about that?" [I'll be back, as well.] [I'm so sorry! Our computer wouldn't turn on last night. gonk ] Aspyn nods along with what he says, answering between sentences. "I heard about that contest...but we weren't here for that one." she smiles at Milla's name. "I saw her! Isn't she beautiful? I didn't know you brought her home!" At his last comment, Aspyn pauses. "What fifth thing?"

"I brought her back, yeah.. I don't know what possessed me to, and I had to empty out most of my bag to fit her."
With the last question, he sighs deeply. "Fifth stage," he murmurs, and within a second, he's in fifth to show her. Brushing back hair sheepishly, he leans back on his arms in the current place on the floor.

"Oh, but it was worth it, she's such a--" Aspyn stops dead. Tobias, the Tobias she kows, is gone. Instead, next to her sits a tall human, leaning back on his arms and looking at her. She's startled at first, but remembers that the fifth stage is, in fact, an anthro form. And, yes, there's Toby's wings, tail, and his eyes are still there. She wipes her schocked face clean and redraws a wide smile. "You're so...big." she concludes clumsily, for lack of brain to come forth with a sensible response.

"Thanks?" he laughs oddly. "I guess I am kind've tall this way. I figured it came with the territory, though." His face lightens a little in the remembrance of something.
"Oh, and the best part is that--" His wings extend out the sides, truly large with the growth, "-- these grew with me!"

She regains herself. "No, you look good like this. It'll take me awhile to get used to, sure, but you make a good human." she laughs a little. Then, looking over his wings at full span, she whistles. "Wow, Tobes! They're beautiful!" and she meant it. They glinted sleekly as he moved them.

[I'm not.. sure o_o Photobucket has been spontaneously shorting out on me, either deleting pictures or just not letting them show up. I'll go login and check.]
He lies down now, wings still extended but curving to suit the ground. He crosses his arms behind his head. "Psh. Sure, I like them and all, but I bet you an' Han'll look 10x better than me..! Which, uh, won't be that hard.."

Aspyn makes a face. "Yeah, yeah. Quit it, Toby. They're great and you know it." she grins and sinks to her belly. "Me? I'm just hoping I'm not so small people will step on me." she grumbles, once again aware of her tiny frame. "I hate being so little. See, Han on the other hand, will probably look really good. She'll be tall, I bet."

"Yeah, she's always been tall," Tobias muses, looking up at the ceiling. "I can never tell with you, though. There's nothing wrong with being small, of course.. I read somewhere that guys supposedly like short girls.. or .. something." He switches off the subject so its not so obvious that he might've skimmed through one of Maddy's magazines.
"Besides, you an' Han worry too much.."

She looks at him strangely. "You read that? Toby, what have you been reading?" she asks with a laugh. But she knows not to press him, so she moves to his next comment.
"Worry? Us? No...well, okay, sometimes." she admits. "But, can you blame me? Doesn't it just seem like life gives us a lot to worry about?"
[Sorry. We're packing for our camping trip, so I'll be off and on.]

"Aye, too many worries. That's why I left. The pressures and the worry.. they built up on my shoulders and I felt like I was going to collapse." His eyes don't leave the ceiling. "It was a whole lot better when things were spontaneous for me."

"It musta been great," she says with a smile. "Going all around the world like that...seeing everything you want to see without a schedule, or a worry, or that voice in the back of your mind that always says you've done it wrong." She frowns and stops talking, knowing she does so too much, and gives him a chance to speak.

She smiles at the thought. "Wow...do you even know how great that'd be? Traveling the world...but I don't see how that would work out...remember, you're the only one with wings." she makes a face.
She sighs. "I know...but, tell me the truth, doesn't it get annoying when all I do is fill the air with words? At least, mom says it is." She bites her lip. "And she's right, you know."
