((Yay! Another snow day!
I had the stomach flu once. It really sucked. Though it got me out of school for a week. That was cool. The problem when I get sick is that I always get a really bad case. I rarely get sick though.))

Oh yay, class, that's always fun Reven thought sarcastically as he got up to go to class, seeing some people he may have recognized, but he wasn't sure because of the blur of his eyes. I guess here should be a good enough spot, let's just hope the teacher doesn't use overheads too much, or write in anything other than black. He choose a seat near the window, about the third row, it was a bit of a pain for him to really read anything from there, but he hated being close to teachers.

Sam growled in her throat as she padded to her next class, the hunger pain had grown worse and she was slowly losing her control. If she's hungry then she gets snappy and today was one of those days.
Sam pushed the door open rather harshly and took a seat towards the back, sitting hard she let her head fall to the table with a dull thus as her stomach gurgled once again.

Gallant saw a girl he thought he recognized, but when she barely looked at him he shrugged. Perhaps she just looked familiar. When Jasper walked in, Gallant nodded in recognition. Really, he was just people watching. Sometimes you could tell a person by where they sit, but more often than not, the important piece of information is why they sit there. Sure, the bad kids sit in the back so they are farther from the teacher, but so do the quite artists. Brimming with internal emotion, these personalities wish to be left alone with their thoughts and seek a louder personality which they can hide behind. They are also intellectually stimulating companions.

Oh, and tihs is my last post before the teacher comes in, so anyone who hasnt' posted tos ay they're in class should do so soon. I dunno if I'll post again tonight or not, but chances are you won'[t get punished too badly yet due to it being the first day. xd ))
Silvia looked up at teh boy was addressing her. "Out of your league." she answered flatly and barely letting him finish teh question, before turning to the girl extending her heand. Eh, she's being nice; no need to lash out. the vampire thought to herself vaguely, before taking the girl's hand and shaking it. "Name's Silvia; and don't worry, you didn't miss much. It was sort of hte kind of hetic yesterday that is safer to avoid." she shrugged.
Kit was about to answer, a directed point and a mouth open, when Silvia piped up with her usual one., causing Kit to close her mouth for a sec before speaking "Yeeeah, that's Silvia, adn that's normal behavior for her." she shrugged incase teh guy felt bad. She then looked about teh room as more people came in. Most she recgoinzed from back at the cafeteria, so good to see at least a few familiar faces.

Slipping through the door quickly, Emille came into the room as he walked by Silvia and Kit just in time to hear Silvia's sly comment 'Out of your league' and felt compelled to forsake himself for a moment long enough to make a comment of his own. "Nah, not the time." he said calmly as he made his way over to Kit and gave a kind greeting wave before twisting around and looking to Silvia once more and thought calmly for a moment. "Aw, Ms. Silvia, day one and you're already breaking hearts. Let us hope that you'll soften up by time I decide to make my move, vampiress." he said in a cool tone, but aside from his tone, he didn't even look as serious as he sounded. Rolling his eyes as he spoke he sat his messenger back on a desk and leaned forward to rest his head on his arms as he looked to the girl with a half-lidded look of pure apathy. "After all, the hardest to get is usually the most diligently sought after." he put his head down as he trailed off at the last part and looked over to the window with a scoff to alert anyone who hadn't caught on yet that he was completely kidding.

His roommate came in and, upon hearing another of Silvia's remarks, immediately responded with his overt hostile and, as of yet empty threats. The man was as prickly as a cactus and as subtle as a club. Not to mention the boy had no part in the conversation. Gallant wasn't quite sure that Emille would be the person to start the fight that the boy was eventually headed for. Hopefully their would be one within the week.

Ryuk merely smiled at the girl, "as you wish." He went at sat toward the back of the room though not all the way in the back. he merely watched as all the students arrived.
Raiden skoffed in his brain, "The girls a b***h."
"Behave raiden, she intrueges me." He replied with a smile as he looked at the girl who had shot him down.

((I'm still waiting on ShaydenPanda to post a reply, but I'll get Saki to class anyway.))
Saki looked at the clock and, surprised by how fast the time went, said to the boy, "I have to get to class. We have to talk later." With that, she ran towards the class. She got into the class room and sat in a desk in the middle, catching her breath. Whew... Made it... I thought I'd be late... she thought.

((Alrighty; Ima post now!
ANd don't worry if you come in a bit late; we can use the whole new building excuse. <.<))
Kit waved kindly in return, before growing bored enough to get out a scrap piece of paper and begin doodling little shapes on it. Hearts, stars, stuff to warm back up to doodling before moving onto people. Otherwise they come out all deformed looking.
"Aww, what's wrong with a girl being careful? Wouldn't want to just pick up any slimeball and hope for a prince." she responded playfully as she began messing with one of her necklaces. "And you, a move? Oooooh, I"m shaking in my boots." she added flatly. Psssh, the boy was a total pushover; he was all talk and no walk, she could sense it. If someting as tiny as goggles were going to put him in a frenzy, then she'd be able to beat him fairly quickly.
"Alright class; drawings away, down with teh chatting. Let's get started!"
These words chimed somewhat cheerfully as a man entered the room, and Kit ahd already put away her drawings, while Silvia merely lay back in her seat with her feet on the desk in observance. His hair was short and black, his skin tone fair, though not pale. He wore a light blue collared shirt, his long jacket white with brown pants and black shoes. He almsot looked more like a serious science teacher, though his demeanor was quick to show the exact opposite as he addressed teh calss excitely.
"Alright, ladies and gents; welcome to English 1! I'm Mr. Arbuckle , though please, feel free to use Mr. A. I swear if I am called John Arbuckle or have Garfield screamed at me one more time..." he murmured the last part to himself sourly for a moment, before addressing the class again cheerfully.
"In this class, you will learn all sorts of wonderful literature, not just from the human writers of all time, but tehre are so many interesting other works and writers, that sadly get banned in normal schools, so people don't get to experience it's unique styles." she said as he walked about the roooms, taking note on who was here and who wasn't. "In here, you will expand your mind, and have a good balance of tratgies and happy endings. cause after all, who wants to feel like they need Prozac or something after a class readign nothing but traditiges, while at the same time many would be bored if each one ended happily ever after."
"SO! Before I pass out the syllabus and explain more about the school and this class, any questions?" he asked, back at his desk with his hands on it and looking towards the group.
"YES. Are you sure you're an English teacher? You sound more like a theater one, or someone on a sugar high." Silvia piped up from the back.
"Ah, observant you are; I have taken several theater classes and had experience in plays, so that naturally goes into my teaching. I find my acting skills poor, though, and stories read create better images in hte midn that build the imagination." he answered, sitting on his desk now and looking at the group. "Any other questions?"
Kit was already beginning to like this guy; he seemed cheery and attention catching, and hopefully was one of those "let's make the class interesting" kind of teachers. Though Kit had a guess at the real reason that Silvia piped up.....the guy was a bit of a "bishie" so she wanted a good start, mabye?
And wah, theature like stuff was supposed to be her territory, not Silvia's!

Ryuk at in silence, his elbows on the desk with his hands together covering the lower half of his face as he watched the teacher. He didnt know if it was him, or Raiden influencing him, but a thought came to him. He smiled as he watched a shadow form behind Mr. A that took the form of Raiden. This will be interesting, he thought.
Raiden looked around curiosly, he had been taking a pleasent nap and was pissed off becasue he was awoken. He looked and saw Ryuk with an evilish glint in his eyes. Raiden smiled his wicked smile, So i might be rubbing off on this kid, hehehe. He decided to wait and see how all the kids in the class would react, this will be fun, he thought and he transformed into his most gruesome form he had.

((I do feel better, thanks. Must post...))
Sarah sat in her seat and watched the people coming in. It seemed they had a fair number of strong personalities and unusual talents. no one like her, though. I wasn't really expecting one, anyways. *** Melanie laughed at Silvia's comment and was about to reply with one of her own when another boy spoke to Silvia loudly. She thought what he said was a bit rude, but when Silvia replied in kind, she shrugged and looked around for a seat. And saw Sarah. *** Sarah blinked when she saw Melanie hurry over to her anxiously. "OMG, I am so sorry," Melanie said to her, horrified. "I did it again..." "It's fine, really," Sarah murmured. "I'm used to it." In truth, it was getting a little annoying. It was nice to have someone concerned about her for a change, but Melanie didn't have to beat herself up for something that was, from Sarah's point of view, pefectly natural. Melanie still looked distressed, so Sarah took pity on her. "It's unreasonable to think you'll remember me all the time when we've just met," she reassured Melanie. "We're practically strangers. i'm sure you'll improve in time." "I guess," Melanie said, still looking a bit unhappy. But her eyes were already darting away, her mind obviously wandering. "I'm going to go find a seat, 'kay?" Sarah nodded and Melanie went off in search of a seat. Sarah slumped back in her seat. Dealing with people was exhausting. Then she abruptly sat up again. It was him. The evil guy had come in. Don'tnoticemedon'tnoticemedon'tnoticeme, ran through her head. *** Jasper walked in and surveyed the classroom. A decent mixture. Some new faces, some familiar ones. Gallant caught his eye and nodded, and he nodded in return. He saw his roommate sitting by the window, but didn't feel like alerting the boy to his presence. Where to sit... he thought, his eyes roaming. Not next to someone annoying. Then he felt the skip in his vision he was already learning to look for and found the fading girl sitting in the middle of the class. Jasper grinned, showing his sharp teeth. Perfect. *** When Sarah saw Jasper's eyes fix on her and his grin, she winced and changed her chant from Don'tnoticemedon'tnoticeme to don'tsittheredon'tsittheredon'tsitthere... He circled around behind her. Sarah shrunk into her seat. ...Crap. He was going to sit right behind her, she just knew it. And then she would feel his eyes on her all the time... She heard him pace up the aisle, felt his grin... A flurry of teal hair and charm bracelet suddenly distracted her. "You know what? I think I'll sit near you! Then it'll be even easier to get familiar with you!" Melanie plopped herself into the seat right behind Sarah. She grinned brightly and winked. Sarah felt a rush of gratitude towards the girl as the evil guy scowled and took a seat behind Melanie. The semester would be better than she thought.

The lengthy hand of the golden-haired boy reached into the air for a moment as he tilted his head a bit. A theatre man, this will be fun. When the teacher recognized Gallant's turn to take, the English-oriented student retracted his hand and spoke up in eloquent and annunciated tones. "Will our study of literature be contained to academically recognized theories of interpretation, such as close reading, or will we be taking a cross-disciplinary approach to the genres studied in this course?"
Gallant's question had two purposes, neither one was the actual answer. First, Gallant wanted to see how in-depth this guy was going to go. There was no use straining himself for someone who had no time to appreciate the true art of word-smithing. Second, he wanted to establish his vocabulary straight away. Too many times, teachers expected students to be stumbling for the right words and unable to approach a subject with the calm demeanor of a scholar. By expressing himself to the best of his abilities for the first few classes, the teacher would be able to become accustomed to his elevated use of expressive language and be less likely to accuse him of plagiarism.

((Oh! Sorry. Forgot to react to Raiden.))
Sarah was half-listening to the teacher and half dozing off - it wasn't that late in the morning. Then she saw something manifest behind Mr. A. She sat up straighter and blinked as the thing took a humanoid form. What - is that one of the students? All of a sudden, the thing turned into - into- Sarah wasn't even sure, except that it had tentacles and fangs and made her want to puke. She shrank back in her seat. Behind her, she heard Melanie gasp a little in recognition and then a little more in shock. She let out a slight, guilty giggle, as if she was amused by the stunt but knew she shouldn't be. *** He's certainly peppy, Jasper noted dryly as the man circled the room with an attendance sheet. Which was interesting in itself. Mr. A could apparently identify them all without asking their names first, which meant he must have pictures of the students at the very least. Jasper shifted a little and frowned. I thought I destroyed all those. Where did he get a picture of me? While Jasper was mentally listing all the ways the faculty could have gotten a picture of him, including mug shots and hidden cameras in the registration office, he noted absently that Gallant had asked a question that actually pertained to the course. But even as the question was being asked, something was forming behind the teacher's head. Jasper stopped listing and looked at the thing with interest. What is that? A supernatural creature, at the very least. As the humanoid creature looked around the room, Jasper followed its line of sight and saw some unspoken communication between the creature and a white-haired boy to his left. He smiled. So there is one of us that can summon demons. That will be... useful. The creature shifted into a rather grotesque form. Jasper heard several students gasp. He leaned back and snorted. You have to try harder if you want to scare me.
