Mara ran across the room quickly and jumped into Gouki's arms. She hugged him tightly as if she had been away from him for days. "I am very happy to see you also Gouki-chan." she said kissing his cheek and holding onto him even tighter.
Cho stood beside the bed, and Ayaka joined her. "Did you boys have a nice talk while the ladies in the room were gone?" She asked softly. She placed her arms around Ayaka and hefted her up into her arms. She cradled Ayaka on her hip, the best support for a child her size. She watched Mara with a sort of longing, but tried to focus on others in the room besides Mara.
"Emi, what kept you so long? Did you know mamma's been worried sick?" Ayaka asked her sibling. After the destruction of our village we thought we had lost you, but mamma refused to believe that. And lookey here! We could you Emi!" Ayaka said throwing her hand up into the air.

Kyoji shrugged with a light chuckle. "It didn't go badly. Gouki-san seems quite a fine enough fellow." He said to Cho softly. Kyoji hoped that things would start working themselves out, or at least start the process of doing so.

Cho nodded, "Thank you Kyoji." she said smiling up at him. She crossed the room to stand beside Kyoji. His presence was reassuring. Standing beside him with Ayaka in her arms she looked up at him. "He seems to be, and with the care he has shown in taking care of Emi, ah, Mara. He seems like a very fine man."
Mara looked at Ayaka, she wanted to go forward and play with her, but she didn't want to leave Gouki. The strangers were still alarming to her. Were they going to upset Gouki again?

Gouki followed Mara's gaze to the little girl that could possibly be her little sister. He decided to be brave for Mara no matter how much it hurt if she did get taken away from him.
"Would you like to go to her sis? I don't think she is any kind of threat and I am going to be in this room with you the whole time. Go on and have fun." Gouki said as he ruffled her hair. He had a feeling she was still nervous about the recent events and how they affected him.

Sakura would begin to cough a little as she laid there. Her affliction seemed to truly be a cold of some sort as Fuu remained at her bedside nursing her back to health.
“Gouki is it? Mind if I get your help in changing the cloth on her forehead for a bit while I get some fresh water. It seems she caught a cold.”

"Yes of course." Gouki said to Fuu before hugging Mara one last time before he went to Sakura's side.
"You are going to be alright Sakura. Just hang in there." Gouki said to her as he dabbed her forehead with the cool cloth. Gouki remembered having to do this with Mara in the past before and it brought a smile to his face at the thought of her doing it for him when he got sick before.

Mara looked up at Gouki, and watched him leave her to go to Sakura. She stood alone in the middle of the room, feeling as small as ant, or as big as an elephant. She really didn't feel like an ant because she felt a little too big, maybe she wished she was an ant.
Ayaka wiggled out of her mother's arms. She approached her sister with an energetic vigor. "Hey Emi!" she called. "Would you like me to call you Mara or Emi?" She asked stopping a few feet away from Mara.
"Mara please," Mara said very softly.
"Alright then!" Ayaka said, "And you may call me Ayaka!" She hugged her sister tightly, but not enough to hurt her. It was more of a friendly hug, something to calm Mara. And for a moment it seemed to work.
Mara turned around and smiled at Ayaka. "It is nice to meet you Ayaka-chan."
"Meet?" Ayaka asked, "You're my sister, there is no need for pleasantries." The girl giggled. She hugged Mara again, and then tapped her lightly on the shoulder. "Tag, you're it!" She squealed and ran away from Mara who began to chase after her, trying to "tag" her back.

“You’ll be okay Mara…” Sakura would wake up as she heard the girls playing. She looked to see Gouki changing the cloth on her forehead and only smiled a little. She knew she needed to rest as she closed her again falling fast asleep.
“Good, she’s resting. She really shouldn’t worry too much. Your Mara is safe is sound.” Fuu knew this much by what she sensed about in the room. She also sensed that nothing of the ordinary was in the area to hurt people so she would place the small bucket down of water and help with the changing of the cloth upon Sakura's forehead.

Gouki was a little worried about Mara as he attended Sakura. He didn't want her to feel abandoned so he made sure she could see him clearly. After the whole crown incident Gouki was a little worried. He was not sure if in the end Sakura would make it. He felt a knot in his stomach as he tried not to think about it. instead doing what he could to keep her healthy while trying to keep an eye on Mara.

Mara was now the one who was suppose to be tagged. Giggling she ran towards Gouki and hid behind him, her small chest heaving and her mouth open wide. She seemed like a vacuum, trying to suck in all the air she could. She smiled up at Gouki happily, her eyes dancing with joy. Traces of sweat were forming on her red face, but she seemed happy enough.

Sakura continued to sleep even with the game of tag going on around her bed. She did not wake up at all.
Fuu would make a noise at the girl to quiet their squealing around the bed to let Sakura rest.

Gouki couldn't help but chuckle a little bit they ran around him. Seeing Mara happy made him happy too. It was as though Gouki drew his joy from Mara. She meant so much to him even though they have only been together a few years.
"I fear there is not much space to play around here. Is there someplace they can play while we keep an eye on the girls?" Gouki said smiling as he intimated Mara's inhalations after he talked.

"Hey Gouki you're not the one who has been running around." She said poking him gently with a finger. She looked around, and Ayaka did too. "It is kind of a small room Gouki." She said looking up at him. "Does that mean that we can't play anymore?" She frowned, she had been having so much fun with Ayaka. "We're being careful, and not running into anyone."
"Yet," Ayaka added with a shrill little giggle of her own.

Sakura would just turn over in the bed as if oblivious to all the noise that had been going on. Her entire body instead was resting peacefully. She didn’t pay much heed to the noise but drew joy from it.
“You two can still play, just try to keep the noise down a bit. Remember you two, we have Sakura trying to recover and rest.” Fuu was trying to act the adult, but in reality she was happy to see the two girls playing.
