I would never change, I could try, but I just couldn't, I fingered the hilt of my sword, she kept it...why? If she had tried to forget me why would she keep a momento? It didn't make any sense to me. I rubbed my ring as I had been doing since as a nerveous habit since I first got it. Why? Questions spinned through my head until I thought I was going to fall over.

I blinked and looked up at him as I was staring at the floor, "You didn't finish the book yet." I said simply, I walked on past Vincent, his face a mask of startlment at my curt answer. I closed the door behind me into my apartments. I placed the sword on my bed, along with my hat and coat, I sat down, head bent over and hands clasped together, this was getting so confusing I was the cheif engineer of my half-cousin's airship, Scarlet was back in my life,as distant as when I first met her, the government was becoming more brutal by the day, the feds where closing in on us, if I didn't make the deadline for the weapons and amor of the ship it could be destroyed before we had a chance to retaliate, I was seperated from my forest, I could already feel the humans encroaching on it once again, a family member from the Swiftblades was alive, everything I knew was being destroyed, everything I loved, as everything I hated was being made. A swift strike, but how? We know not even where the head of the government might be, how? How?!

"Come Scarlet!Come to us!We need you!You can't run from your past and your heritage."
"Who are you and why are you talking to me?Where are we?"
Scarlet hollored into the darkness.She shivered from the cold.She was becoming more scared byt the second.She couldn't fight what might not even exist.
"Calm yourself child of darkness.I am someone that you knew well in your past lifetime.I am trying to help you through this difficult time right now.You know that you are going to need it."
Scarlet kept looking for the sourse but had no idea where it was coming from.
"What make you think that I even need help!I can take care of my self thank you very much!"

I'm not saying that you arn't capible of it but you will need my help sooner or later.Your airship needs to have iron on it if you are going to survive in the air and the goverments headqorters is located in the heart the earth.You may want to wake up soon!The Feds are on your trail.There is a tracer in the dashboard of the ship as well as someothers in the fightors dashboards as well.Drako means well!Take care of him because he might be all that you have left of the old world.Take care child of darkness."
"Wait!Get back here!What do you mean by all that!I don't understand!Please!Come back!"
Scarlet woke up to find Drako shakeing her hard.
Her eyes opened wide!
"The feds are tracking us! There are tracers in the dashboard of the ship and as well as in all of the fighters dashboards too.We have to disable them or they will surly kill us here and now!We need to move NOW!"

I hear commotion outside, and run to see what was happening. I see Drako destroying the instrumentation of the aircraft. "Hey! That is irreplaceble stuf there! I hope you have good reason for this kind of thing." He relates the information to me, of the trackers anyway. I reluctantly decide to help. except in a much more, gentle way. I wasn't blasting the electronical equipment, for I had a crew already hired, just not in service yet. I shake my head as I search for the tracker.

I blinked and crushed the chip in my hand, "I know what im doing, that emp blast destroyed nothing, it shut down everything, those tracking chips are now completely offline and can be gotten out better for examination later, im the cheif engineer!" With that I hurried off to the next hanger.

I walk towards the next hanger, when in the middle of the corridor, I see a large framed man, he wasn't anyone I knew, and looked more gruffy looking than a Fed. I cautiously walk towards him, my footfalls not making a sound. I unsheath my sord as silently as I can, but when the sshhhk is heard, I freeze. He spins on me, and smiles. I gasp. He was a kitsune, and not only that, but he had almost the same features as me. "I am pleased to find another kitsune, yes, that I am. But I am afraid to say, you will have to die. You see, as everyone should know, the Wolfgang family is now with the Government and approves of the actions against the non-humans." I look at him, did he say Wolfgang? "You are probably wondering who I am. Why, I am non other than Axel Wolfgang II, ruling family of the Kitsunes, and even in control of a couple Vampire families. My mother and father would be proud. Especially my mother, Helena Wolfgang-Rose. Now, so as to not be rude, whom am I speaking to?"

"Vincent, er, Noringer. I am the captain of this ship." He smirks. "Now, could you be so kind as to leave my ship?" He shakes his head. Damn, I can't fight him, he was raised by my father, he would know magics that rivaled most likely Drako, and swordsmanship and gunmanship beyond any I would ever see. I guess I had to try. "So, you are the leading man in this raid?" He smiles and nods, then raises a gloved hand, and a gold coin on each hand is revealed, (Yes, the same gold coins Drako made for Axel before the battle against the Council.), and he shouts a word I didn't know, Angriff is what he said. My eyes widen as a beam of energy erupts from his hand at me. I try to dodge, but I am too slow, and hit by the enrgy. I am thrown, but I recover and extend my blade. He summons a red sword, just like the blue sword I could summon, and lets his black tail grow longer. Must be the vampire in him to make his fur and hair black.

I rush at him, trying to slice his arm, but he parries and follows up with a counter. I was too rusty, maybe I should start my own set of moves, that way at least I am consistant. As the ring of enchanted metal against cold hard diamond rings out amongst the ship, I tell Drako and Scarlet and even Charlie to not come, it was my fight, and mine alone. I start to learn a thing or two of my own, like how to parry correctly, or how to block right. I knew that under normal circumstances, we wouldn't be using the edges of our swords to parry, but his diamond was hard enough to take it, and my metal was strong enough. We keep attacking eachother in silence for a while, both of us only muttering minor spells, all I knew. He was using alchemy, most likely, and I was using what I knew of summoning. As I am cut, I utter a small healing spell, and when he is cut, he places his gloved hand on it, and heals it. As we battle, the sounds of the battle carry, most likely catching the attention of the Feds who weren't yet dead. I start to tire, not used to this, and soon, he has me. I start to get sloppy, and he catches me several times. I ,though, get his sword hand, and he frowns.

"I guess we will have to continue this some other time, my partners are tired, and we are being called back to HQ. Bye now, Vincent Noringer." He says. Then, he vanishes into thin air. I sit down, and heave a huge sigh. I figured out what to call my sword. For it had a small inscription,in ancient Greek. Προς το κακό πρέπει να εξορίσει. Για την αμαρτία, πρέπει να σκοτώσει. It meant: To evil we must banish. To sin we must kill. I would name it Păcaturgie, or Sinbane.

The name itself is Romanian, if you wish to check it.

I take his hand. "Well, I don't know Helena, I don't even know why she didn't bear me. It's is so confusing to me. My half-brother is a corrupt government spy. Great." I pull Păcaturgie, and hold it to the north. "He will be struck down by my blade. So, now would be a good time to learn."

"Light! Scarlet, no, I did not try to summon something from the underneath, though I am perfectly capable of doing it, suummoning kind of helps with, you know, summoning. But no, we just so hapened to meet Vincent's half-brother....the government spy, man, one of my only living relatives and he has to be evil....again."Though no one else actualy knew about the Swiftblade relative, should I telll them?"Vincent here decided to try and be some kind of hero and face down an overwhelming opponet that could have killed him twice over," At that Vincent glared at me but I brushed it off,"oh you know its true, now, down to your training, do you know any sword forms? Parting the silk? Boar rushes down mountain? Apple blossoms in the wind? Lighting in three prongs? Oh well, your learnign them all over again anyway." I grinned at him, I hadn't realy shown off all the forms I knew, which was about all of them, if not all of them.
