Why do you love Japan: I got really interested in the culture in high school and decided to teach English there. I have been studying Japanese in university for four years now.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: I was on exchange two years ago for a month. I lived in Osaka and visited Kyoto.

Why do you love Japan: I got interested in Japan when i went to an international camp and met people from Japan, they got me involved in manga, anime and much more!

Why do you love Japan: I think I've always had an interest in asian cultures, but I started to become more interested in Japan in about the 6th grade when I started watching anime and drawing characters from video games. I decided to make one of my life goals to visit Japan and a few other countries. I really enjoy learning the language and more about the culture. I love the fashions, music, food, and art styles of Japan even more now.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: Yes!!! I got to go on a missions trip to Japan for 2 months back in the fall of 2007. I was in Osaka most of the time, but I got to visit Kyoto and Iga-Ueno too.
Interests: Japan, Jesus, Art, music, hacky sack, computers, anime/manga, swords, airsoft, video games, fashion, swimming, climbing, horseback riding, watching movies.

Why do you love Japan: I think it started with anime lol Then I started looking around the net, books, movies, visiting japanese expos at museums etc.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: No, and is killing me, I want to go so badly.
Interests: Games (currently playing Guild Wars), family, socializing

Hi everyone!! I am new to gaia so I am glad to have joined a guild - I'm hoping this is the best way to get settled in on gaia!?
You can call me Chou, I'm 23 from England.
I love photography, butterflies, capoeira, learning about the world, languages & scripts, different faiths, philosophy, drinking coffees & teas, gentle breezes, and slightly geeky things like swap-bot.com and postcrossing.com, music I most listen to are:underground hiphop/jazz-hop music, kizomba, zouk, some anime & manga although I'm not half as fanatical as my boyfriend is!...searches for inspiration and positivity in everything, non-materialistic, subjective, language learner, attention deficit, a day-dreamer with personality-type INFP... there is plenty more, but if you feel we have some things in common I would love to hear from you!
I more or less understand Spanish & Portuguese and I started learning kana about half a year ago but uni got in the way and unfortunately I've forgotten most of it! Now I've joined this guild hopefully I will meet some people here who will encourage me more to stick with my Japanese learning! ^_^

Why do you love Japan: I love how they can be the top of new technology and still keep the cultural aspect. It is astounding and I respect them.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: I want to SOOO bad. My father goes there all the time for work. Normally in Okanowa which is where Shotokan Karate (my sport of choice) originated.
