((... can someone please give me a small explanation as to what exactly is going on? I do realize Mai is an Akatsuki spy... isn't she? But what is happening now? Has the tower been destroyed?))

((Mai went all evil due to a Genjutsu placed on her, from the actual Akatsuki spy, and attacked Rikou, injuring him badly. She also burned Emi bad, before being pinned down by her father, and Ibaraki, and Emi held her with shadow possesion. After a while, Rikou started to go mad because no one was helping him, but he's fine now that Emi left to go see him. But, since Emi left, Mai was able to escape, and say hurtful things to Jubei, making him want to catch her even more. Then she disappeard into the forest, and now they;re fighting with sasuke and sakura onlooking, with ibaraki and kiku and akira. And, the tower has been half blown off, from explosive tags tossed in by the akatsuki member.))
Mai's smirk finally resumed into a smile.
"I guess.. well, the Uzumaki finally win. Congratz, Jubei. A good kinoichi knows when to stop." Mai said, though it wasn't Akatsuki Mai. The voice came from the real Mai, who also died the chidori out, taking the rasengan full blast.
Then, her body fell limp.

"Jeez, I leave for a minute and the whole place goes mad, ya."
A dull voice intoned from the shadows, which gave form to Kaede in her half-burned glory. She had just managed to avoid an explosion tag atop the tower during her training, and it showed through her singed appearance as she gazed at the mess that was Mai and Jubei's battle arena.
She hadn't spent all the time during the chaos twiddling her thumbs, though; a lot of things demanded her attention, such as Genin trapped under fallen rubble and whatnot before she could find out who was responsible for the mess. This seemed to give a fairly clear answer as to whom; the Aburame sighed, fluttering a fan under her chin.
Uchihas... jeez...
"So is she Akatsuki or what, ya?"
She inquired of the five shinobi gathered to watch the battle.
"'Cuz if not I'm pretty sure she needs medical attention."

"No, at least I don't think so," Kiku said, finally spotting her teammate. She walked over to Kaede and stood with her back to the battle. As much as she hated him, she didn't want to see him die. "You'd think that such high level shinobi would have figured out that 'holding a person down' doesn't work. He should have just let me incapacitate her like I asked to."
"Oi, otuo-san," Ibaraki said. "Should I step in or what?"
If this was a reinactment of the past, did that meanthat he was going to kill his family andturn rogue too? He certainly hoped not. And he also hoped that his sister would get some sense knocked into her soon.
((I'm pretty sure he's still next to Sakura))

Jubei watched as Mai's body fell to the ground. She laid very still and he could not tell if she was breathing. The red chakra immediately disappeared as he took a few slow steps towards her.
"M-Mai?"
Jubei continued approaching the fallen girl, still keeping up his guard in case it was a trap. He looked back at Sasuke and Sakura with a sad expression upon his face. He returned his attention to Mai and finally ran towards her. He knelt by her side and picked her up in his arms.
"Mai? C'mon, wake up..."
He stood up slowly and looked back towards Sasuke and Sakura once more. He was completely unsure of what to do. He may very have just killed his best friend. And for what? Remembering what Mai said before she fell, Jubei shook his head sadly.
"Nobody won here, Mai... nobody."
He made his way to the Uchihas, Mai resting in his arms.

Kaede watched the body with a practiced eye, raising an eyebrow over her fluttering fan.
"She's not dead, ya. That is, not yet, I don't think."
She announced.
"If you're lucky, ya. Get her as fast as you can to medics, Jubei-san."
Casting an eye to her teammate.
"But she'd probably be if Kiku-san dealt with her."
Under her breath, the Aburame added:
"'Ch'd serve her right, Mary Sue Uchiha..."

"I'll be fine, the pain is pretty bad and it didn't hit anything vital."
Rikou wasn't use to getting hugs yet, maybe from his parents, but never from someone outside of his family. Rikou pat Emi's back feeling nervous like when Mai hugged him, but that hug seemed to be a story now when you thought of how dangerous Mia had become. The other reason he only basically hugged her with one hand was for the reason the she was leaning on his wound and it only made it sting more. Rikou didn't say a word about the extra pain, it would be rude to and just it with a twitching left eye for every second. When she backed away, it was a big relief, but the wound slightly increased in pain.
"Some...P-pain killers...Might work..."
Rikou had to struggle through his words from the extra pain, he could sense something big was happening elsewhere and distract Emi when she could be helping someone else seemed selfish, that and she had really hurt his Chidori wound with that hug.

Was she dead?
If not, is this what it feels like to be dying?
She didn't know, she wasn't aware of anything, except her pain filled body was being carried by someone..
Tch. They shouldn't be helping us..

The voice left, with a sigh, and Mai was left alone in her unconcious body, once more.
If is was apart from the immense pain she felt, then it would be pretty peaceful. She remembered losing sight of everything, as another part of her...
Jubei.
Rikou.
Emi.
She'd hurt all of those people.
Sakura scrunched her eyes up when Mai fell. That was going to be a nuisance. What with all the dirt in the wounds now.
"Jubei, set her down.. I'll get started on healing."

Jubei stopped walking and gently set Mai's body upon the ground.
"Yes, Mrs. Uchiha."
After doing so, he took a few steps back, providing Sakura with some work space. He planned on watching the procedure, for he had never seen Sakura in action.
"Is there anything I can do to help?"

((gah! my computer screen keeps flashing.... stupid computer.))
Sakura knelt down beside Mai, and focused chakra to her palms, letting them glow green. She placed them over top the wound, and started to healing process, that would probably take a while.
"Yes, actually. If you could track down some more medic ninja.. it would be helpful." She said, trying not to let on that Mai was actually dying.

Jubei snapped a salute.
"Yes, ma'am!"
He immediately took off in a dead sprint back towards the village, using his chakra to enhance his speed. He was extremely determined to find as many medic ninja as he could.
Mai's not going to die... not if I have anything to say about it!
Jubei had finally reached the enormous gate surrounding the Forest of Death and easily jumped over it, landing hard upon the other side, and continuing his sprint back towards the village.

Emi nodded, noticing that he seemed in more pain now (stupid hug), and dug into her pack. She found the bottle of painkillers, and pulled it out.
I don't remember putting it back in there, after I lent it to Mai. Maybe she put it back after she was done? I was asleep then, I think...
She opened the bottle to make sure it was the right one, and noting that everything looked okay, closed it again, and tossed it to Rikou.
"Here."

"Ibaraki.. Go see if Rikou is okay, and try finding Emi as well." Sasuke ordered, face stern. He didn't want Ibaraki to sit through this. Especially if Mai woke up, if she woke up.
Mai.. you are not going to die on me! I will not lose a child. Sakura pleaded in her mind, eyes locked onto her daughter's still body, putting all her chakra into the healing.
Akira took after Jubei, to help find more medics.
He landed right after the blond, and soon came up beside him.
"Nice going, man. She's dying." He said sourly, before taking off ahead of Jubei.
