Sasha_Yakushi Sasha hopping into the front seat began to start the machine up. she smiled and spoke into her head set "how does over 200 knots sound. but that is with maximum throttle, and output. and that also if either of us doesn't red out" smiling the craft roared to life "alright i am gonna take her slow out till we are in open air then take the output to max and we can give her a real test flight." with that she adjusted the throttle and the craft began to hover. sasha hopped out and gave it a little push then immediately hopped on and clambered over to her cockpit. the craft began to slowly inch to the edge of the hanger hovering just a few inches over the floor. "Alright now punch that output to max" she said constantly adjusting the throttle to keep the craft moving and afloat "i need more output so we can fly. (Im sooooooo sorry I havent been on I have writers block and havent had like any free time.) Talon pushed up the throttle They glided out in to the air Talon whooped in excitement. She started to zig zag in the air. she quickly strained out getting used to the controls. She spoke in to the mic. "This thing handles great." She said diveing and then pulling up shooting in to a cloud.

Daniel held a hand on his hat to keep it from blowing off from the exiting vanship. "Sorry about that admiral. I need to inform my pilots that they need to ask before they take off. Our next stop is the balloons and the bridge, And thank you for your offer. I will ask the mechanics for help should the need arise. If you would follow me?" Daniel leads back up the the first level and enters one of the balloon hatches. "Both balloons are identical in design, the engine is in the center, with the exhaust venting out the aft." He points up a small tube above and below the narrow catwalk along the engine. "there are the balloon guns, capable of 306 degree swivel and 100 degree elevation. (just a bit past 90 as that would be straight up.)
"Next is the bridge, I hope this to be a learning flight for me as well as the crew. i haven't had the Khaos out in open air yet, but i have no worries. This way" Dan heads back down the hatch way and up to the bridge. the center of the room is dominated by a large teardrop shaped pilots chair with the nav station located above and behind it. Daniel walks to one of the stations and jacks his headset into the console and hails the rouge van ship darting around the airdocks. "Sasha and talon, come in. are you planning on staying out there as we depart? Please ask for clearance before taking off next time."
Daniel turns back to the admiral and shows him the charted course for the day. "would you like to stay aboard for the flight sir?"

Myles gives a quick salute to the Admiral and returns to the instruments. He is holding out what appears to be a large sort of pocketwatch containing a complex assortment of instruments, and seems to be checking his own dials and the ship's against each other.

"go ahead Nysth," Daniel replies starting the preflight checks, making absolutely everything was ready before even turning on the engines.
(the ship has short wave transmitters for a few things but mostly ship communication is via speaker tubes, the ships and nysths cannon are all that uses radio.)

"Thank you captain, first off becareful with the aft wing when using it, from up here i noticed a small hitch in it....that was all"
as quickly and as random as he had tuned in his speaker went off to the captain, he continued to give that dead stare infront of him as he waited

Elliot called into the rightmost tube, labelled with ornate engraving "Bridge"
"Captain, all gunners are reporting ready. As far as I can say we are safe to depart whenever you wish."

Having placed the dishes in the kitchen sink upon finding no one there, Abigail made her way back to the medbay in time to see the backs of her captain and another man as they walked away. She felt as though she'd missed some vital information somewhere along the line. Once she was back in the medbay she was able to catch a few updates on the speaker tubes and pieced together a few things. When orders for engines to start were confirmed, Abigail had already locked cabinets and made sure there was zero chance anything could go crashing to the floor if there was sudden jerking or something of that sort. Running to the windows she threw them open as widely as possible and leaned onto the sill. She smiled as she glanced at the dock before looking upward to the sky.

GDan Daniel turns back to the admiral and shows him the charted course for the day. "would you like to stay aboard for the flight sir?" "Yes, I rather fancy I will - I'd rather like to see how this ship takes to open flight. I take it you have not been Captain long?"

Into the radio: "Thank you Nysth, bridge out"
Into the tube to Eli: "Roger that Eli, Prepare for take off"
To the Admiral Daniel shakes his head, "I have never owned my own vessel before, I have only had the Khaos a week or two. You may have noticed I'm not barking orders like some CO's(commanding officers) I just don't have it in me to be so demanding, i still require things to be done efficiently but I dont yell about it. Ii guess it makes the crew like me more as i seem one of them, not a person to be feared and obeyed and such."
Taking his place at the helm, He settles into the seat. his wings sliding into concealed panels. Noticing the action this time Daniel dismisses it as it allows him to sit more comfortably. Calling into a speaker tube (one of several around the seat) that would take his voice through out the ship, "All hands prepare for takeoff."
Gripping the wheel he activates the engines, many of the ships controls were centered around the pilots chair. (which looked like a cockpit that belonged in a much smaller vessel) The props can be seen out the bridge view port begin to turn and pick up speed.
"Myles, signal the station that we are ready to depart." last thing they needed was a collision with another departing or incoming ship.
Daniel was ordering his crew like a real captain, while still kind he was leading with confidence, despite his minor jitters at a first flight ans with his own crew. He mentally ran through every check he could think of for a ship this size. his hands darted from console to console, checking gauges and other instruments.
Looking up he sees the van ship still outside and groans. plugging his headset into the radio for the pilot, he calls out to Sasha and Talon "Ladies, we are about to take off, will you follow us out or are you gonna get back inside, over"

"Aye Cap'n." He reaches over to a Morse tap control on the console, switches on the transmitter, and quickly first taps out the ship's identifier code, and then the abbreviation for intent to take off.

The Admiral nodded in agreement, "With an attitude like that, you'll make a fine Captain. I'm sure you are already."
With that, he stood back and learnt against a wall - watching the crew as the vessel began to make open flight.
"Oh, an another thing. While I'm on board, this vessel is considered 'Airship One'. Helps keep things neat when I go from ship to ship."

Hearing the order, Elliot stowed his rifle back in its catch on the g.c.s., where he could reach it easily eithout it getting in his way at all. He surveyed the skies around him, checking there were no hostiles. Not that he thought there would be any so close to the guild, but practice had told him to never rely on what was 'likely'. He called a reply down the bridge tube. "Aye sir, preparing for take-off.", before relaying the order personally down a tube labelled 'Gunnery: All' "All gunners! Prepare for take off! Eyes alert, but safety on!"

he turned his communicator back on hearing the order, he simply stated back
"Aye sir"
his gun in a fully extended state, switched into safety clearly visible from any point on the ship he slowly would scan an area moving the gun around testing its motions with a childish grin on his face
