Certainly Illusion had thought of ways to attack, but she hadn't really concidered the possibility of a full air invasion. "Yes, we could! And it would be easier because their land is so hot, the hot air would help us stay afloat! They wouldn't be able to touch us unless by magic or by arrows, and we could set people incharge of streering the arrows the wrong way!!!"

Moriarty laughed a little bit. "That will not be my job." He said. "I can't focus enough on people around me for that. Someone's going to end up being hit. Now that I think about it, there really isn't much I can do to others from up in the air..."

The possiblility of an air inavsion intrigued Artemis. "I could devflect the arrows no porblem." An interesting thought came to her mind. She turned to Moriarty. "You can mess with people's minds, right?" She asked him. She began to smile slightly at watching the fire nation freak out at nothing. "About how many people at once do you think you could do?"

Zig landed hard in front of the castle entrance. Though she had been careless in her landing her legs only felt a slight shock since she had slowed herself somewhat. The girl walked through the castle quickly until she reached the room where Illusion was. She heard only a little Artemis had said, but from it Zig could imagine that there was an attack planned. "Why are you attacking the fire nation?" she asked with barely restrained anger. "Princess Xin won't even consider us a useful ally anymore since it seems that I have no idea what my country's doing and as one of the fire ambassadors put it 'there's no telling what we'll do'." Zig took a deep breath after her words and tried to calm herself. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation. There has to be.

hidama was suprised at zig's entrance. she could her the hostility in zig's voice and quickly moved herself in front of illusion. hidama's body obviously showed she was ready for a fight or a possible capture if things got out of hand.

Nadia fished 16 small coins out of her wallet and held them out to the merchant. She noticed a distant whoosh of someone in flight but didn't let her attention wander.

"I might be strong..." Moriarty admitted, "...But I can only affect one person's actual vision at a time, and they have to be very close by. My singing can cause some hysteria..." He had a wry smile. "...But again, it just isn't as effective."
He suddenly took note of Zig's entrance. He didn't know anyone outside of Air, and he didn't really even know Illusion until yesterday so he had no clue what she was talking about, so he remained silent.

Volk smiles lightly as he takes the money from her and hands her the dagger and the wet stones. He smiled as her as he handed the items to her then stands up and puts the items away,"Hey can I ask do you know if there is a place I can rest for a while?"

Nadia took the dagger and wet stones, placing them in her travel pack. She stood up to start toward the castle but turned to reply first. "I don't think there's an inn here. Hospitality is terrible in this town." She thought for a moment, her eyes once again tracing to the busted doors and the strange silence. "Sorry, your best bet would be to go back down the mountain and head for Noytral Klar, Kraftig Felter, or Pelions bay. All three are to the southeast. All three have good breathable air too."

cecilia took kat's hand and led him out of the library. she followed where she had heard the sound. she heard voices soon and started to follow those. she arrived at the room just in time to see the scene unfolding.

Illusion's voice was harsh as she took in her missing warriors words and responded. "I have just heard the fire nation making plans to attack us within the next 24 hours. We're trying to bring the fight to them, hopefully keep them away from our city. We don't want a tremendous amount of casualties." She turned to Moriarity and Hidama. "We shall make ready for an air strike. Somewhere that is easily accessable and easy to leave incase of a retreat. But if we can we will take their land by force. They'll learn not to wage war with us again." She tried to remember the map on the land. "We shall attack the flaming mountains, they're along our eastern border. I want every available person there to fight."

"Oh well what about you , what are you going to do?" He blinks lightly as he stands up and starts to follow after her as just to follow where she was going. Volk had already put his stuff up and moved away from the gates , in a attempt to see what was going on in the area anyway.

"They declared the attack? But the note Princess Xin received said that you did..." Zig trailed off. She wondered which account was correct. Or if someone in the middle was causing all this. "I will fight for our country, Illusion," Zig said as she made up her mind. She didn't feel like she could trust the fire nation. They had tried to undermine her peace efforts in the water nation and she wouldn't mind some revenge.

"Thank you Zig, I need every person I can get. So they were told we were going to attack?!" She bit her lip in fustration. "Someone's setting us up. But it's too late to call it off now. It's either bite or be bitten. I need every mesmer, healer, and warrior here and ready to go within the hour! We are headed for the flaming mountains."
((okay so there are two ways we could do this. 1 - go strait there and attack, or 2 - post in all the threads that are 'along the way' like a real trip would be. It's our land so it doesn't matter. Once we cross the border it will.))

Nadia shrugged and sighed shaking her head. "I have to tell the powers that be, that we have a dimensional hole in Pelions bay, the great and holy prophecy is just a grand conspiracy to cause Armageddon, and we're about to go to war with a crippled nation." She folded her arms. "It's a lot to get down, and I doubt they'll actually listen to me."
