Kokujo Kokujo caught the Phoenix Crest neatly "....My gratitude..." Kokujo said, his tone of voice detracting from any good will that might have been intended. He then narrowed his eye at Brommstone "I won't question you're motives or feelings on the subject...I really don't care, but I never thought you of all people would be the type to find work as a Deity's plaything, Heavenly King of the South" Kokujo said disdainfully, clearly none to thrilled in general towards the Heavenly Kings and their masters. (( rofl rofl ))
Anyway, I have work to do. Get out, all of you.

((Anyone else realize that Kokujo's name can just have the KO removed and it be Kujo...Shift the K to a C...Cujo. blaugh ))

You could practically swim through the tension in the air. Kokujo raised his free hand in a half-hearted farewell gesture before disappearing with the others.

Chapter 4A: Midheaven's Winds of Change
*the portal leads to a booth inside a restaurant. The place seems to have a greek mythological feel to it, with flame torches for lights. There are many people sitting in other booths, having a good time enjoying their meals. Though very lively and comfortable, it is very strange to end up here. Did X-chan warp them to the wrong place again?*

Kokujo gazed around suspiciously around the restaurant. "I must say....this is not what I expected..." He mused, wondering what on earth this place possibly had to do with their quest. "Screw that, this is finally my kind of adventure, an adventure in eating stuff, and maybe if we feel like it later, we can burn something to the ground....eating always puts me in the mood to set stuff on fire, that's why I love eating" Corbenik grinned, looking round for a menu he could snack on.
