We haven't even played Pomp and Circumstance more than a few times, and I already hate it. As for On A Hymnsong of Philip Bliss, I'm actually okay with it. It's one of the few songs where I barely have to play. My BDs always seem to pick songs that have the flutes playing constantly, so it's a welcome break.

Tohru Honda-san Pomp and Circumstance but I will NEVER have to EVER play it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause I'm a Senior, but that is sad too even though I hate that song SOOOOOOOOOOOO much. I hear ya! When I was in the 7th grade I had to play Pomp and Circumstance at the 8th grade graduation. We played it over and over and over and I thought my arm was gonna fall off. For my 8th grade graduation the next year they didn't play Pomp and Circumstance but if they did I would probably be about ready to kill the band. A little while ago I went to my sisters 8th grade graduation and I heard Pomp and Circumstance too many times. Just to let you know I'm going to be in the 11th grade in August but it is summer for me so I might as well be able to be called a Junior. I TOTALLY AGREE THAT POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE MUST DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! scream

my first marching show was THE MUSIC OF ERIC WHITAKRE, Sleep being our 2nd movement. It was pretty but THE SHOW WAS BORING. I say we could've all slowly in a few counts went down to the ground in the form of Z's and acted like we were sleeping. I'M SERIOUS!!!!! theres an idea for you guys out there planning to do Sleep. USE IT. you may go to state with that. biggrin

another good song to burn is "GNAGNA". IT SUCKS, DOESNT MAKE SENSE AND IT NEEDS TO DIE. but it was fun, we did so bad out there we didnt even care. it was our last football game anyways. :O
Erm.....I cant think up any at the moment but yeah, most of our christmas songs, and thats about it. The music we play is pretty much bad a** in some way or another. biggrin

A song that should be burned for all eternity and never be seen anywhere on the material plane is ******** Freeze Frame. Good song. Annoying as hell when one trombone player plays it BY HIMSELF the WHOLE ******** YEAR.

omg our town song! i hate it! its the crappiest town song, but then again alot of ppl take pride in it..and well i guess thats ok, but my personal opinion is that Windsor Victory Sucks!

Pomp and Circumstance, ALL THE WAY. IT NEVER ENDS. crying My mouth was so dry by the end of grad the other night... >.<;
Bands are NEVER given enough credit for doing that piece. Its a pain in my royal a** to play. Some guy even booed us the other night after finishing it. Damn drunken graduates... I wanted to smash a music stand over his head. -.-;
