Merlin frowned, "Why would Tien and Dorien meeting be important?" She asked. It seemed odd that she'd emphasize that.
In her sleep, Magnolia went in search of Dorien. She found him and poked at him gently.

Tara looked at her in confusion for a moment before saying, "They both deal with the senses outside of the body, Tien through emotions alone and Dorien with almost none. If they combined...I would think the outcome would be terrible."

Recieving no response she came to two conclusions, either he was unwell, or he was ignoring her. She prodded him again, Dorien?
"But do you think that they would create such an alliance? It seems so unlike Dorien to take up with a partner. He barely acknowledges Magnolia and they are of the same race!"

Dorien was indeed in his resting place, the altar still open as he began to place magic markings on the walls, his slender fingers sliding off of the dark letters. He didn;t turn as he was poked', but said, What is it Magnolia?

Her spectral image appeared and it blushed, Sorry....I just missed you is all....touching basis. I made a new friend today! She reported similar to how a daughter recounts the events of her day, We saw both Pirates of the Caribbean movies, she's never seen modern movies before....though I'm sure you havn't either. Anyway....she really liked it. Her name is Tara!

Tara looked at Magnolia in surprise, "She's an elf?! I am surprised I don't sense her power!" her surprise slowly turned back to calm as she said, "We both know how persuasive Tien can be. We also know that Dorien is in need of a vessel if he want's those emotions out of him before it is too late for to do it on his own....mayeb they would make a deal perhaps?"

Magnolia didn't understand, Oh you know her too? I like her very much. I ate too much sugar and now I'm sleeping. What are you doing, Dorien? She finally asked, looking around. The look of those characters gave her the heebie jeebies.
Obsidian sighed, "This is stupid, doesn't he have a leash or something?"
She shook her head, "He'd submit to that? How disturbing." Merlin sighed again, "I don't understand Dorien sometimes, I don't understand what he wants..." She then nodded, "You are right of course, Tien needs to be taken out soon but remember what I said. Besides I don't think Jack would ever forgive me if I let anything happen to you before he's able to actually go out on a date with you!" A real smile curled Merlin's lips, laughter dancing behind her eyes.

"Tien would do anything to cause hell for everyone, even become such a vessel. Dorien is a wild card. Even if he did agree to that, he won't let the same thing that happened with Tyran happen twice." Tara was slowly gettig worried. How did she know so much about this?

The humor shut off like a faucet and she closed her eyes, "Get some rest for now, Tara, get ready. I have a feeling that Jack is going to go with you so be prepared for company. I'll send Osyrus* with you as well, he'll be my eyes." She helped Tara up, "Rest here." She indicated the bed. The bed could accomadate three people comfortably so there was plenty of room.

She thought about it a moment then took a step forward, You're not going to do....bad stuff are you? You're not gonna hurt a lot of people are you? She looked as if she were about to cry, Because if you do that....I can't see you anymore.... The image of her looked down at the ground
Obsidian summoned some black gloves then pulled out the iron cuff, "I've still got this thing." She said, twirling it on her finger.
The amusment came back and she nodded once, turned off the DVD player and TV then the light and closed the door. She headed out of her office, Mona, be prepared for some fireworks. If this goes well we won't have an all out war on our hands.
