Looking at him, he nodded, "A little." But Eldin wasn't going to drop this subject quite yet. "How close were they before this little...okay...this huge fight?" That would help Eldin figure it out even if Joker didn't tell him. If he was told to stop prying then he would, but that would also tell him that Joker knew something. Eldin was young, but he was still a decent information gatherer.

Joker nodded and fetched two bowls for them to share the noodles. Looking over his shoulder, he tilted his head to the side. "They fought? Over what? Kalore doesn't seem the type to pick up fights so...Monty started it? No...Then again he rather have the fight look for him that find it himself." He nodded to that and placed two bowls on the table. "Sorry. Can't say I know what's going on between those two. Not enough time to see them both of them together to see what's going on." He said, sitting down. "Please join me." There was a sharpen to his eyes as he looked at Eldin, as if aware.

"They have been together for a while, so maybe they got closer than we all thought... And something happened? I don't know... I know enough about Kalore, but not Monty." Eldin shrugged, his eyes matching Joker's. Why was he caring so much about this? Monty and Kalore had both given him enough hell to make Eldin not care about either of them at all, but Rave and Gambler were worried, and he liked those two. So... Someone had to figure it out, because Rave would probably shut up for a while seeing as he was getting angry with Monty, and Gambler probably knew Monty's side, seeing as the two were 'talking' a while ago, but no one, supposedly, knew Kalore's. This is too much trouble... Why am I trying to get info out of Joker?! It's freakin' impossible... But that still didn't stop him from trying.

Joker nodded and blinked. "That might be one theory. Or another is that Monty is a mean guy and does bad things." He shrugged eating some of his noodles. "Things happen you know? Most of it is unexplainable. Sometimes, you never know what the situations are. I hope nothing bad happens to them both. If it's a fight over who's better at shooting something, so help me I will kick both of them." He said.

Eldin blinked but then chuckled, eating a small bite of the food given to him. "I doubt that this would be over that. I can't speak for Monty, but I know Marcessa wouldn't care about that... He's probably much better with a bow and that's all he cares about." The boy shrugged and muttered to himself, "It could be something... But I don't think that's possible..." Eldin took a small sip of his water, thinking, What if the two...like like each other... Impossible... Doesn't Marcessa like Sir Rave? Confusing... But... There's not much else that could get him down...

Joker shrugged. "Then we will never know the true situation. It's best to leave it alone. It's between them both and that's all I have to say about it. Especially since it's with Monty and he could be a monster if your not careful." He said, munching on his food. "How do you like the food?" His sharp gaze never left Eldin. He figured that Eldin wanted to know what was going on but he promise Kalore that not a single soul would know about the situation.

Locking eye with Joker, it was obvious that Eldin didn't want to drop this, seeing as he now knew, he didn't know why but he did, that Joker knew what was going on. "Okay... You know Marcessa's side of this... Don't you? And the food is perfect, Joker, it always is..." Eldin really didn't want to drop this subject yet. It was killing him to actually seem to care for Kalore, but this wasn't for the brat as much as it was for Rave.

Joker gave Eldin a true Chesshire Cat smile and didn't remove his steady, yet sharp, gaze from the elf's. "I don't think it's that great. I think I added too much garlic. Maybe just the salt and basil with lime would have been better." Yes, the insane man was acting weird but no matter how persistant the elf was, Joker wasn't going to say anything.

The boy twitched visibly and rubbed his temple, "You don't have to say what's going on... But if he told you, that would mean that he let it out to someone, and that is good... Sir Rave's worried, but if he knew for sure that Marcessa let it out to someone, he would calm a bit. Did he tell you?" Eldin looked at Joker, but sighed, "It sounds good, but I'm not a fan of basil and lime together. Sir Rave likes that though."

Joker leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand and looked at Eldin. "I will keep that in mind for when I make soup for Rave. I will say that no one else will know about the situation between Kalore and Monty." He sighed and blinked slowly. "I have lent my ear to Kalore and it holds what he was able to share with me. No other will know what he had to say. So, put Rave's mind to rest. Kalore confided in me." He zipped his lips and ate some more of his soup.

Nodding, Eldin sinked a little lower into his chair, hoping that he wasn't going to get in trouble now for basically quizzing Joker. "Thank you, sir. Just um... I'm sorry for any troubling questions." Eldin didn't really know how they worked here so he made sure to be more cautious if something like this ever happened again. He knew that if this were to have happened back in Ellwood, Eldin would quite possibly be severely punished for questioning a superior.

Joker shrugged. "Your concerned for your friend, it's understandable. Now sit up straight while your at the table. You wouldn't want to start having bad manners." He said, amused that Eldin would apologize for wanting to see if his friend ranted. It was perfectly normal. "Please, don't call me sir. It makes me feel old." He pouted slightly.

At seeing that Joker wasn't going to go off on him, Eldin smiled sweetly and sat up like the nice and polite child he was, "Of course. And, you're not old, Joker. At least... I don't think you are..." Making a 'thinking' face, Eldin looked as if he was pondering the man's age. "Hm..." Humor was in his eyes as he took a bite of the food, "Thank you for the food."

Joker's mouth dropped and pouted slightly. "Don't you dare wonder what my age is." He grinned and nodded. "Your welcome and anytime you want food, you come to me." He smiled and stood up to get some more noodles. "I'm pretty old so don't worry. I'm not too touchie about it like Gambler is." He said with a fond tone in his voice.

Eldin laughed and shrugged, "I don't see the thing with age... I mean... Isn't it a good thing if you're old and can still hold your own easily?" He shrugged again, his thoughts going to Lord Kyin. That man was ancient, even to elves. Elves normally didn't get past eight hundred, but there were a few that made it past. Dusk, he thought, was around that age, Eldin had a couple centuries, but Rave and Kalore were above it.
