Other genres would be simple, yet funny things like Slice of Life (Azumanga, Lucky Star, ect) and/or Comedy/Parody series (Hayate no Gotoku, Ika Musume, ect). Action is a good genre too if it's together with the others (Strike Witches).
I also like cute.
I think the over encompassing genres most sites list are Seinen, Shonen, and Shoujo. Chi's Sweet Home is adorable and is basically
Yotsuba&! with a cat. It's probably too short, though; the manga is a pretty fast read and the episodes are 5 minutes each.
There are no lolis in
Genshiken, but it's a fantastic slice-of-life series with a fair amount of humor.
Maria-sama ga Miteru is also a good slice-of-life series, although it's more about relationships and character development than comedy.
Stellvia isn't nearly as good as Genshiken or MariMite, but it's a space opera and the character designs are pretty moe, so I'll mention it.
It's only a manga, but based on what I've read of
Hayate x Blade it's a pretty good action/comedy series.
It also has a little yuri, which is always a bonus. >_>Hidamari Sketch also fits into the 'slice-of-life 4-koma about a group of cute girls', but I'd guess that you're already familiar with it. Same thing with
Manabi Straight.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
