"eh...who're they?" Pullo asked, pointing at the lady he was talking to, and the guy talking about how stupid ice daggers were, "They kinda are stupid." thought Pullo, and then despratly hoped that tainted couldn't read minds, since if they could, Pullo might have a very painful future.

Alexi watches the tainted leave. He considers and discards the option of following him. It wouldn't be worth it. His attention returns to the three vampires. Elders apparently. He wouldn't of picked that out. Usually elders have more control over themselves. Maybe the elders in the States were different then back home. "Let's not get into a fight here. I'd prefer not to have to alienate a powerful figure here on my first night in the city."

"They won't listen..." Layna muttered at the man who had spoken. "They never have, and I think they are odd because of it." Layna was only stating things that had become clear to many people about this. Though, despite what was said, they would be odd anyway.
