Vahn Kyonuske Where else would the beam sword come from? Hopefuly you don't run into an enemy that can counter with a Trojan shield.

Yes - that is exactly what I meant.
Vahn will find that not all enemies can be defeated with the Beam Saber of Vahntron. Some enemies are immune - some have a natural resistance - and some adsorb it.
And its a pretty common weapon...
