Rave blinked but did sit down, leaning his head back towards her, "I don't mean this in a bad way... But do as you wish because I care much more about Kalore not becoming that empty shell again than if Monty gets his a** kicked." He didn't know it, but Kalore had already become that shell before, even if it was only for a little while, but if they weren't careful, that would be who he really was. Just Kalore would be even worse because he would hide it behind that perfect smiling face, only to collapse when he was alone.

((ah...fine))
Grabbing the guy, Dusk growled, "Come." Without letting him react, she took him to one of the bars near the Devil's Nest, but made sure that Kyoshi wouldn't see. That was the last thing Dusk needed now. Then again... Kyo might kill this guy...that'd get him away from me... But no, Dusk behaved and took him into a crowded bar, using the noise as a cover as she dragged him to a secluded corner. "Talk. I want to know who the hell you are and exactly why and how you've been watching me. Don't cooperate, and I'll show you some more of these shadows and how deadly they can be, understood?" She wasn't afraid to kill if someone posed as a threat, and this guy was a threat.

Gambler kissed his forehead. "So you don't mind that I might end up face down in canal water and sleeping with the fishes?" She said, looking thoughtful as she massaged his neck lightly. "Just....Relax for the time being. I swear on my life that I will get Monty to visit Kalore." She said against his ear softly and kissed it.

He took one of his hands in his as icy blue eyes closed softly, trying to relax but knowing it was in vain, "If it comes to that, then don't do it. I just... I'm sick of seeing Kal go through this..." Sighing, Rave opened his eyes and looked at the wall, "But...thank you, Gambler." He couldn't express how much this meant to him that she was doing this, any of this.

Gambler kissed his nose. "Your doing that thing again Rave." She said and brought his hand up for a kiss. "This isn't your burden to carry on your own and neither is it for Kalore. This is too big a thing to carry. It's going to have to resolve and hopefully it does for the best on both of them." She said and hugged Rave.

He groaned, "I'm just not used to having a situation that can't be taken care of with some type of maneuver in like... a few days..." Running a hand through his hair, Rave kissed her softly, "Kalore's been through something like this before... And it really hurt him... That's why I'm acting like this I guess..." That and Kalore's helped me enough... I should be able to do something...!

Nodding, Gambler understood that. "Okay. Just do what you do best and that's be there for your friend. Just, don't worry about the demon. That's my buddy so I'll worry about him. Let everything cool down." She said and hugged Rave closer to her.

Rave blinked, "I don't worry about the demon..." But nothing else was said as he just held Gambler close, moving her so that she was sitting on his lap. "There, that's better." Soft smiles and caring hugs were all Rave could do at the moment to keep calm and not do what he normally did and work constantly. It was going to be hell in a few hours. ~Four Hours Later~
Walking out of the room, Eldin yawned adorably. "Um... Hey. Sorry I fell asleep..." Rave shrugged, "You've been through some trouble, so it's okay. Did you rest well?" He nodded, eyes and manner once again innocent. "Yeah, did you ever rest, Sir Rave?" Knowing that Eldin would become all concerned medic on him, Rave nodded, "Yes, I did." He didn't really... But Eldin didn't need to know that.

"So now you see. In order to learn how you've been able to do the things you do, I've been studying you, looking into your past; library records, internet visits, everything you've done using technology, I've looked at. And I've done a fairly good job of it, might I add. There's one thing that puzzles me, though." Zeen said, making motions with his hands.

Gambler rested her head on Rave's shoulder, lightly dozing but opened her eyes as Eldin came in. She didn't say anything because she was somewhat tired from working earlier and was comfortable in Rave's arms. Looking at the floor she blinked and then got up from Rave's lap. Stretching her arms out she looked at both. "I'm going outside, okay?" She said and walked outside without giving them a chance to answer her. The bosses mind was swirling around what Monty could have possibly mentioned to Kalore.
It was possible that Kalore was getting close to Monty but it seemed to be more than a friendship. Monty was refusing for a reason. It could have been to save the elf time and energy on a demon who was well, a demon and had many enemies. Or many it was because....yeah it must have been that one. Monty couldn't because of a certain someone that she wouldn't name. It must have been that one. Sitting on the step she sighed and looked around. Hopefully things got settled between those two.

Dusk was livid, "You've been tracing me?! What the hell?!" She was annoyed mainly because she didn't use technology that much, she didn't have to. That was Ziggy's thing, but they knew how to avoid any traces on them. What really annoyed Dusk was that this guy couldn't get a hold of her, at least not much. She was half elf, and half light elf at that. There was no way he could go anywhere near there. "What confuses you, then?" Voice acidic, it was taking all of her energy to not strike at this man. **I'm trying to give you as much info on her as I can... But it's hard. If you're doing something that's not possible, I'll tell you ok? It's not in a mean way, it's just to keep the story straight, kk?**
Both males nodded, but Rave was the one to speak, "Is Kalore up?" Eldin shook his head, "I was giving him some more time to rest." "That's nice of you." "He's still a comrade, no matter what we think of each other." The elder nodded, approving greatly of Eldin's attitude to Kalore. "He needs to be over there in less than an hour. I'll wake him up in a bit."

Kyoshi finished cleaning the glasses and the nooks and cranies of the place, wondering where the hell Dusk was. He told himself that he wouldn't freak out or be overly concered about her. Perhaps, Dusk was just hanging out with her friends before they decided to come. Yeah, that was it. Though why didn't he believe his own words for that matter?
Monty came back to his shed, ignoring everything around him, even the sight of Gambler sitting outside the back door of the kitchen and entered his own compartments. He closed the door and just went into a zombie mode to his weapons and started to clean them as if it was the only thing he has ever done. His mind was numb so he wanted to keep it like that.
Gambler blinked and frowned at Monty. She didn't do her usual thing and go after him. No, she sat there and thought about letting Monty have his peace until he got to normal. Yeah, what ever the hell normal was.
