Well, I dunno about you guys but I got someone interested in joining. He's been waiting a few days for a response though and doesn't know if he's been let in or not, which is kinda a shame cause I've already got the RP set up for him and one of our other members >.<

Trowa The Fearless *also returns the gluggle* For some reason, I'm pondering reading Twilight. For the lulz, naturally. I've read the series. It isn't that bad, really. Though it actually is... a Romance novel series except toned down for teenagers. Seriously. Great for the Ladies. I'm not too sure how well it will flow for Gentlemen. Ayup. Just watch out for the angst around the corner. It's a doozy.

I had a friend reassure me that the movie was nothing like what I feared it would be.
He lied. It was exactly what I thought it would be. stare

I wouldn't go to the movie at all. It looks... worse than the books? I dunno. I really don't like the actor playing Edward.
Plus lovey dovey scenes are more entertaining to read. They're embarassing to watch. XD Especially since more than half the series is lovey dovey scenes.
Ok, maybe not more than half. But close, I'm sure.
I really like the last half of the last book the most cause she stops being 'Oh help me!' to 'I'm competent!' Though I'm a little annoyed that -that- had to happen for her to -become- competent.

*listens to the gentle howl of the wind and wonders where everyone went*
*sits alone in the darkness and scribbles the plans for the Death Star in the dust*

RPs I'm in in other guilds might die soon, so I might be able to contribute again.

Twilight:
Books were okay. For as Mary-Sues and Love-gushing vampire novels go. I've read each of them a few times, and still prefer the first one because there was a lot less romance, more 'wtf, mate?'
I hated the movie, and have a Love/Hate relationship with the soundtrack... They had One. One classical-esk piece written for the movie, and all it was was Bella's Lullaby. There's nothing but song clips... no soundtrack-worthy pieces, really, in my opinion. I would've loved listening to some nice battle music, or something that might be in the background of Bella thinking things over...
*Sigh*
The Host, on the other hand... I love it. I wish she'd make a sequel, but it might get a little ruined after her Twilight fling.

Lots of my friends are gaga over Twilight. I think I've read, like, a page of it, and it was interesting. I mean, I like books, and it wasn't necessarily BAD writing in my opinion. But as far as the plot goes.... Iunno....
I don't do romance, and I don't do vampires. Gimme my sci-fi and action any day.

Toe fractures are never a good thing.. What did you do?
On a side note... I'm putting together a comprehensive strategy for optimum activity in the RPR. In other words.. I'm working on a plan that will help get our beloved guild moving again.
Part I is about to be launched. smile It's a OoC topic where you post the kind of RP you're most likely to join. Whoo hoo!
Also, if anyone would like to join me in my quest, let me know.
