Rhaim wasn't suprised that she didn't know how to chakra wall walk since she had probably found something more important to train on. No doubt she had some great abilities that he wouldn't even begin to understand. After all she had aggressively undertook the taijutsu training with him earlier and even after he left to take a nap. He felt as if he really was contributing nothing to her and the other boys little group when she asked him where he thought the statue would be in the compound. The truth of the matter was that he had no clue where to start looking to find the gawdy piece of art. He lowered his head more as he continued to walk towards the Senju Estate.
"It's probably inside of the place. But I don't know where. Sorry. I looked through the library but I wasn't able to get anything besides that it was inside their place."

Michio ran as fast as he could towards the Academy. It wasn't that fast, but then again, he wasn't exactly that on time either. He sprinted passed the people in the streets dodging them as he could. Many times the people turned to yell at him, and one time he actually bumped into a man, and almost stumbled over, but he regained his balance and continued running. As the man yelled back at him, he simply yelled "I'm sorry," as he continued on his way to the Academy. He thought about taking a different path the next time he went tot he Academy, like maybe the roofs. "Hmm, that would be fun." But soon enough, he was at the front doors.

§ujin The village was bustleing with life in the morning. Under other cirumstances SUjin probably would have been having fun, with the new smells and sites. But being in the country that had hated his for hundreds of decades wasn't pleasing him. Sujin just wished that the Mabushiis had just kept going, to drive forever.
The twins next to him were bustling and waving to people they knew. It was odd but it reminded him of the way he was in oto. Were these people really that different? What of course they were! This was konoha, this was the land of fire. Anger grew in him and he felt the metal at his waist sear into him. Happy faces passed him still, sounds of laughing and waking market place filled his ears and he struggled to believe these people were actually just like Oto.
Passing through the main street, Sujin looked up to a great building. Huge and magnificent. Could it be that this building was the Kage's office? Compared to Kasuke's domain, it was a palace.... but that's just the way Konoha was, doing things over the top and exploiting their funds. The boy scoffed to himself.

§ujin Taiyoo flipped through a few papers. Smiling brightly. "Boy, you're in luck." he got to the ranking papers, and sighed, "Now, how come you didn't tell me you were a ninja. That could have put my children in danger." Sujin glanced to him a tormented visage.
"No one will come for me. I've done nothing wrong." he said this harshly thinking of Kasuke's reaction. He had probably found the note by now.... what if the wind hand blown it down? What if he father game in? Sujin shook the thoughts away. No. Kasuke would understand, if grandfather talked to him. He would shake his head, maybe cry. It didn't matter, Sujin was no longer affiliated.
Taiyoo saw the boy shaking his head and patted his back. "Sujin boy. You're new here." He smiled through his thick beard pushing him in the direction of the hospital.
Sujin took a deep breath in the way air. It was harder to breathe here. Oto must have had a much lower elevation. "It's closer to the sun here."

The moon was very bright in the night sky. Saito wasn't sure if this was because he'd never truly stared at the moon, or his body was simply glad he finally allowed it to rest. Earlier the Yakedo had come home to his father and promptly passed out.
He realized then.. his father was very powerful. A lot more than he'd ever cared about... The two shared a lot of stories... he'd opened up his heart to his father. He wasn't sure how long they talked nor did he care. They ate food, discussed his mother. How she wanted him to grow up-- her Will Of Fire... so many things..
He sighed, closing the beautiful emerald eyes. The boy was laying down, the wind moving over his face, his bangs caressing his visage, his foot slowly swinging as it rested atop his other leg. His little pale hands were under his head. Normally after coming back from a day, he would simply begin to draw or compose.. however, today, he didn't want to do anything. Not because he was tired or any lazy rubbish of the sort, but he simply couldn't do anything but think about the Senju compound.. the marvels of their history and the jutsu he'd learned today.
He must say.. he really didn't want to be anything but a ninja at this point. The young child also realized he'd regret that later...
Anyhow... it didn't matter, his father was so excited to find out Saito met with the Hokage...but to his surprise.. his father wasn't. The man simply patted the boy on his back 'Another thing you'll be great at son', he simply muttered and hugged. His father also offered him any and every help he could get, which Saito would be sure to ask for in the future...
He'd always wonder how his old-man could be so gentle.. and yet such a wonderful shinobi.
Zephyr wasn't his only role-model..
Gah. It was no use. His stream of consciousness had been this wide all day.. he didn't even want to rest. He blinked, the academy's curriculum scrolling into his mind. Let's try this Bunshin No Jutsu...

He lay there, humming for a minute or two more. The boy made sure to repeat the instructions a few times. This jutsu seemed very useful, but not in the offensive strength, but rather the tactical sense.
Suddenly the boy's mind raced with a few hundred instant uses for the technique...
How troublesome. He really wished they were existant in the physical world...
Finally he pushed himself to his feet, still reviewing the lesson in his mind.
This jutsu's biggest flaw was that it could even be seen through by an eye with mediocre experience. The clone didn't kick up dust.. or crush the leaves beneath it.
It was all for naught, the academy dictated this jutsu, so he'd have to learn it.
"Let's learn this one and head to bed...", he whispered, looking down. This jutsu was also the same, except one would need to perform the method on another object, and not himself...
His hands quickly moved together as he finished, his hands in the Dog position. It took a few seconds.. and he was sure he messed up on his Boar...

He slowly examined all his sign and once more performed the seals. No.. no.. his dog was far too relaxed. He moved to the door and leaned against it, moving his signs up so that the light would allow him to see what exactly he was doing. The boy sighed. His hands were still hurting from all the activity today.
He walked around on the roof, the wind blew as he did, his neat hair once again moving. He stopped for a moment, looking down, his hand brushing his hair out of pale face. The hairpin soon found it's place holding his bangs to the side.
He sighed, stretching. Saito truly needed to get this down..
With a sigh then a yawn, he moved his hands together, closing his eyes. No worries.. he could do this. He slowly laced his little fingers together and pushed, his palms feeling sore. He blinked and winced. Wow.. this really was taking a lot of him.
With a final sigh, he hopped a bit.
Let's get this done...

His hands felt like they were going to bleed.. gah. It's so useless. He would make little mistakes. These little mistakes wouldn't matter much in the real world. Either they were acceptable, or they failed him.
The boy brought his shaking hands to his face and stared. The little hands were hardly reacting to him.. his wrists were numb and almost swollen. Even during dinner, it was painful just trying to eat the food. Saito looked down, biting his lip, his jaded eyes flickering.
The dog sign was proving quite hard to perform... his left hand would always move out too far... it was his reaction time.
No matter.. his body should cooperate... if it needs that rest. He nodded to himself, pushing off the door and making a tiger seal. His hands shoved and pushed level to his face. He stared at the sign. It wasn't bad.. but his hands, they shook.
He winced in pain, closing his left eye. No. Pain is a obsolete concept against human intelligence..

The boy sighed in frustration, staring at his hands. They moved onto his forehead for support, shaking to stay together. 'No.. I'm in control.. ', he thought, bringing his tiger seal level, doing his best to not shake.
He moved it down, "Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog!", he proclaimed, his voice weak, his hands moving rather fast. It was no use. His pinkies weren't even straight for the 'Ox' sign. He coughed suddenly, bringing his hands to his face. He stared at his shaking hands...
but that wasn't why he was staring. With urgency he /dragged/ his hands against his pants, ruining them with a crimson hue. Furthermore... his hands couldn't make the boar symbol as they would simply pause...
"I.. I need to do this..", huffed the boy, bringing his palms together.

Saito tried the combination again..
and again...
and again...
It proved useless. His hands were slurring and failing. How could this be so painful? It was simply hand motion.. and he wasn't weak. In relevance, he jogged about and sparred with his father on occasion. They felt like the nerves were going out.
No, Saito wasn't exactly sure that such training was feasible at this rate. His knees quivered. He was truly pushing his limit. Saito's fingers were simply shaking, he wondered if the body could stop reacting.
If that wuold happen, he supposed he'd have to go inside. His hands fell to his side as he looked to the sky...
The wind was nice tonight.... he looked forward.. his glazed over eyes moving to the Hokage's office. His eyes darted even higher, to the men that led his village. So many faces carved into the mountain of the Kage of the past. Great leaders.
He wondered if they had suffered as he did. Of course they did... or maybe they didn't.

While his hands attempted the seals, over and over, he stared at the kage. Yondaime Hokage... he was so powerful. The main he adored and respected. He died, pulling the village from the pits of death and destruction.
He could've only imagined... the sight of the large frog, fighting it.. dying against it.. sealing it. Minato Namikaze was a genius, who invented some of the most powerful jutsu in history. He was able to command the most powerful toads from Mount Myobaku. The man was able to form a ball of devastating chakra, he was even able to perfect a space/time ninjutsu technique.
The Flying Thunder God...
What a name. One day he would invent a technique.. a great technique. The boy sighed. With all the scholarly knowledge, he didn't seem to have a great amount of chakra, and with such a body, it didn't seem-- No.
He was sure Minato wasn't thinking that, depressed, feeling like a failure. His eyes were fixed upon that man...

The boys hands were simply slapping together at this point. He stopped finally, letting them fall to his side. Today he was shown how it felt to be such a failure...
Some sort of apprentice.. some child he was. His body was failing him and there was nothing he could do. The boy turned, punching the wall as hard as his frail body would allow.
There was a spatter of blood. He looked down, tears slowly trailing down his green eyes. There was a reflection of the night on his bright eyes as they closed. Emotion was so human-- he was so human.
Blood leaked down the wood of the door. His hand fell to his side, his fingers dripping, some sort of trails for the crimson liquid to fall off. There were drops slowly hitting the ground. Finally with his other hand, he opened the door. Walking inside.

LV. 5 | Experience: 94/130 | Hp: 40/40 | Cp: 35/35 | MHp: 70/70 "Oh hey, Shirayuki. Why is your hair wet?"
Kaede paused in the middle of tying on a blue apron to glance at her coworker. Fujinosuke-san was a fairly bulky man wearing a matching apron, casually chopping at the onions. Naturally, his eyes were red and so was his nose.
"I-I... took a shower real quick and d-didn't have time... to go dr-dry my hair."
Partially true. Actually, she spent the past hour dunking her head in a bucket at home and furiously scrubbing the black ink off her face. As for the dirty kimono, it was discarded a different bucket until she can wash and scrub at it. The kimono she is wearing now is also pink, having bought all three kimonos in bulk. Once she outgrows her clothes, she plans on buying her next three kimonos green. Also in bulk. But that might not be for a while... her father says drinking coffee stunts ones growth. Kaede hopes its just a myth. She didn't mind being short, but people kept mistaking her for an elementary student.
"Well, if your hair is like that then you should stay out of customers view. Just wash the dishes in the kitchen and -ow!" He winced, and when Kaede glanced at his direction, she winced too.
"Actually... hey Shirayuki, do you mind chopping up the onions?"
"Uhm..."
"Oh thanks! You're a really darling, y'know?"
He took off without waiting for an answer. Kaede didn't blame him though, with a knife wound like that? And anyone with a bandaid on while preparing food might lose it and somehow end up in someone's meal. Then it might end up in someone's soup and that wouldn't be good for the buffet's reputation. He really should be more careful. Not just about keeping his job but his own safety. What if he had cut off his finger?
"..."
What if she cut off her finger?
The girl nervously took up the chopping knife, edge now red with the blood of her coworker and gulped. Washing the dishes or cleaning the bathrooms was normally her job. They were tasks she could do without screwing up. But this... is something she has always been too afraid to try. But someone had to do it so the customers wouldn't be waiting. Hoo boy. Kaede frowned. She should probably go wash it with soap now. Maybe pick up a different knife. The girl wouldn't want to also have cross contamination on her record of blunders.

"You're crying... are you mad at me Shirayuki? If you want, I'll go do your job and clean-"
"O-onions... sniffle."
"Oh. Well, if you need a break just-"
"N-no... they aren't p-p-perfectly... square. Uoooo..."
The costumers are going to totally notice the lack of skill. They are going to be so repulsed by these not-perfectly-cubed onions and their appetite will go away and order nothing and never come back and the restaurant will close and then she'll be fired from her job and then they won't be able make rent and then she and her father will be evicted from their apartment it will be aaaaaaall her fault. Because she couldn't make cube onions 1 cm by 1 cm on all sides. A failure. She was a total failure!
"..."
There was an exasperated look on the man's face. He gave out a tired sigh and awkwardly patted the girl on her head. Kaede flinched, hands tightening around the cutting knife. He didn't seem to notice her discomfort, however.
"Look, its still perfectly edible right? So I'll just-"
"N-no!" His hand paused, hovering over the ugly onion... rectangles? No, more like a deformed polyhedral.
"Let me Sniffle. d-do this again." And with that, Kaede tilted the cutting board and dumped all the ugly onions in the trash can. Where they belong. Things that no one but diseased pests would eat.
"... Okay, y'know what? Whatever. Do your own thing just this once Shirayuki. But don't forget that the customers are waiting and we need to refill the dishes quickly. So you got one more chance, even if it doesn't look good, give it to the chef in charge of soups. I'm going to go clean the bathroom now."
"Th-thank you."

Well, geez, what are you just standing around there for? Hurry it up and give me the onions."
"Sorry... K-kubo-san." The girl handed him the bowl of cubed onions, nervous about her work. They were better than the last ones, but the girl still didn't feel comfortable about presenting them. But what Fujinosuke-san said also had also made an impression on her mind.
"Hrm... not bad. Okay, we're running low on fresh herbs so I need you to chop up some cilantro and basil. You know how to prepare those, right?"
"Uhm. I've seen h-him do it a few times. Sniffle. I think."
"Eh, knowing you Shirayuki, I'll just tell you anyways. You want a clean knife, chef's knife works best, clean cutting board, and clean hands. But you should know that already. Take off the leaves and make a pile. You'll be chopping up those. And don't throw away the stems. We have other uses for those. Chop with the hinge method. Keep your fingers at the top of the knife to make sure the tip of the knife stays on the cutting board. Rough chop first, then fine chops afterwards. You got all that, Shirayuki?"
"Y-yes, Kubo-s-san."
"Alright, good."
The girl turned around and began to head back to her station. Clean chef's knife... that was so the herbs wouldn't absorb the flavor or the fragrance of other herbs right?
