He pulled at his collar, "Merlin, eh? Yeah, I met her. I'm sure she's a very good friend but to be honest she scares the living daylights out of me." He paused, "Hope you don't think me less manly, only a fool wouldn't be frightened of that woman."

"I would have thought you were a bad liar if you said you weren't afraid of her," Tara answered, "Especially since she likes cats...." a slender finger raised slightly touching his chin, "She's like an older sister to me. I learned many things form her..." she said, the grin still on her face, "Many things."

Likes cats. He remembered her saying something about that....her animal to call. So did that mean if she snapped her fingers he'd jump off a bridge? Probably....though since she liked cats he had a feelign she wouldnt' demand such a thing from him. He blinked when Tara touched him and one side of his mouth cocked upwards, "I see..." He stayed the gentleman, not touching her in return just looking at her. She resembled her brother, though she wore the look better, he thought, such a perfect face, and a sharp intellect to match.
And yet he couldn't forget how she'd swtiched off when her brother surfaced when they were dancing. The memory addled him to no end and he drew away and looked up at teh moon, "Would you be upset if I asked about your brother?"

Tara closed her eyes, drawing awqay from him as well. SHe stiffened at the mention of Tien and sighed, "Why would you want to talk of him? He'll be coming here soon..I can feel it."

He was quiet a moment, "I saw you shut yourself off....it was like watching you die and I couldn't do anything, not a thing. You should know....men hate being helpless, especially when it involves those they care about or think highly of.." He replied before standing and walking to the edge of the roof and sighed, "Let's get ready to rumble." He breathed.

"I do it so he won't worry about me. I am his only sibling beside our elder brother, but they want each other dead. Out family has broken into their own clans and we have a civil war going on as we speak. I'm all he has left..." Tara said, her voice lowering, "You really want to fight him as well..." she stood up and walked off of the rooftop, landing lightly on the street below, "Fine, but I thought you were different..."
Tien landed lightly infront of the Nocturne, taking his time to walk inside. Monaleth had told the guards to watch Tien's every movement when he came in and that is exactly what happened. The silver haired Sulla didn't care though. His calm was already replaced by anger as he felt the presence of his sister nearby. That man has her wrapped around his fingers.. he thought, frown slightly. He will die for this.

Jack sighed, "Oh Jackie boy, lost another one...." He sighed and sat on the edge miserably, "What kind of excuse was that, anyway? Does he have her that brainwashed?" He wondered. He rested his chin in his hands and simply waited for the inevitable.

Lost one? No, not really. She had left more because of Tien's arrival than anything else. She hated being the way she was around him. So helpless and weak... She sighed, "Another one lost because of my cowardice...thank you Tien." she said, her sarcasm fully heard.
Tien walked to the back of the calmer as he entered the alley. A few moments later, Tien was on top of the building across from the Nocturne, looking at Jack silently.

Jack had his back to Tien, he waved, "What's up?" He greeted the other man nonchalantly, "I'd offer a cigarette but I don't smoke."

Jack shrugged and replied dryly, "I gathered as much."
He stood and turned, rolling his shoulders, "Let's get this started, shall we?" He hopped down onto the flat part of the roof and lifted his fist in what looked like the ready boxing position.

Jack blinked, "I didn't do anything to her. Maybe this passed you by but your sister has a brain and free will all of her own. She is not your puppet, she is not your doll. She can do what ever she feels like it. You as her older brother should not stand in the way of that. Veiling it as protecting her. She's perfectly capable of protecting herself....with friends like Merlin and that other vampire woman down there. Sure she'll need your help once in awhile but that doesn't give you the right to control her like some puppet master...what's wrong with you?" Jack sighed and smiled, "Sorry, I had to get that out."

Tien listened quietly, not really caring in any sense, "It doesn't matter what you think. You don't know the whole situation, nor why I do what I do." he flipped off of the rootop and laned inthe square nearby. It was wide and large and secluded. A perfect place to fight.
"Let's begin."
