Dr.Nightz Both outcomes are simply death. An afterlife is only speculation, and no discernible outcome can be drawn other than the immidiate, which is known. Assuming that the Judeo-Christian afterlife possibilities are true, then to be honest, eternal life will be found either way. The quality of such will vary. Bragging does little good when one is submerged in sulfur. [/bullshit] Well I'd assume that if the rapture did take place that afterlife would be a pretty good bet. But if it isn't then I will never know since I will have already died and ceased to exist. The bragging thing is your opinion. If I were in a sea of sulfur I'd still take solace that I would have the coolest death among those writing in agony and the knowledge that I am to suffer the least of everyone in hell since I was among the last to die. Of course the time holds little meaning when measuring in eternities.

But.. Kell.. who will be around and of sound mind to acknowledge your "cool death"
I mean if you're burning in hell after your "cool death" .. "cool" will be the last thing you'll be thinking about.

The rapture being seperate from the afterlife, then you meant that the rapture is a win-win situation?
That makes sense to me more.

Ultimately it's still lose/lose though.
As both wins are short lived.. and the negative sides of both outweigh the positive sides of both.

Quote: "Misao Tenma forfeits! Vahn Kyonuske advances to Round Two!" Because I wasn't around when everybody already talked about it last night *master of the late posts* I told you so. Though, honestly, I was hoping it would've been a fight to the victory and not forfiet, but it seems a lot of people need to forfiet matches, and that will probably be the number one factor in clearing out the preliminaries. Is that betting system on matches up again? I'm not too eager to bet on round one matches with all the forfiets, but I get the feeling by round two most people will stay through the matches.

Host New time restraints. You have three days from your opponent's latest post to make a post of your own, or you get disqualified. If you and your opponent agree on something else, like no time restraints for your particular match, that's fine as long as you aren't the final match holding the bracket up from progressing to the next round. I'd also like to note real quick, Clash, though I'm sure it'd show up if you went into my match to post, that in my match with Rivven I have the last post which actually shows up and can be read, even though looking at the thread from the subforum seems to indicate that Lenne does. Just to try and prevent any confusion later on if at all possible.

I didn't expect to be feared.
I just expected to throw you around and move on with my life.
Honestly... if you ain't my woman, I ain't losing to you.

The betting upon the matches is still encouraged in this first round, though with so many dropping like flies, it does seem to be an unnecessary risk.
Vahn, you have a certain grace about you that shows not in terms of eloquence, perhaps, but in determination with an odd mixture of apathy. Such a calm attitude does indeed lead others to consider you to have skill beyond their own. Even I fear to set myself against you, my son.

No offence, but the only woman who can match me is in love with me.
It's the guys I always worry about.
