13 + 1 =14 fail Cp: 2/24 The formation of energy was growing stronger and Tairu knew that he was closing in on the secrets of unleashing the power of inner peace. Tairu continued to sit motionless as he slowly inhaled and exhaled. He reflected on himself and who he was. From the outside if one didn't know of the Hyuuga eyes it would have looked like Tairu was in trance, about to make a prophecy. He was from clairvoyant though, his inner self was just as murky as the deepest of swamps. What Tairu had to do seemed impossible he had truly unravel himself, know all that he was, and come to terms with it. I can do this, my body cries for success, it is filled by effort and patience when something does not come right away.The soothing feeling of his Tenketsu releasing energy severely weakened. Contently, Tenma had allowed herself to rest under the shade of a tree, letting the euphoria of the water wash over her as she watched undistinguishable figures on the other side of the river bank. It was a gorgeous day, perfect for training, but with the dramatic turn her life had taken the child appreciated the chance to simply rest. With a glance up to the sky Tenma drew her body upright, lifted her belongings and walked away from the river, she would have to complete the weighted task later. With a rejuvenated spring in her step the female felt an exciting pang of adrenaline as she realized that soon she would be participating in the Genin Exams and, thusly, headed towards the training grounds.

18 + 1 = 19 Pass Cp: 2/24 Faith, all that is required, and all that will ever be required. Tairu continued to remain motionless keeping up his stony visage as the battle for inner peace raged inside his mind. Though could a battle grant him peace, or did one side need to come to terms with the other. Self doubt is not me, it was thrust into my soul by my family and it is unnatural. Tairu inhaled between his thoughts. I must pull it out of my body as if were a knife. It sounded easy but could Tairu actually drop all of his self doubt, was it truly unnatural? Tairu felt the quantity of chakra released by his tenketsu nodes flare up as they returned to an earlier strength. He was closing in on his inner peace and the full release of chakra from the tenketsu nodes all over his body. I am getting closer, faith his my surgeons tool for removing the self doubt inside of me. Tairu thought as he mantianed his current course of thoughts and reflections. Cp: 2/24 The mental journey to inner peace was soon approaching it's end; but could Tairu complete the journey without another interruption. Would he need to delve deeper into his construct? That was for Tairu to discover. Almost there I can feel the nodes working, soon I'll achieve that inner peace of which Yokou-sama spoke. Tairu was beginning to feel his connection to not only the world around but how every part of his being was woven together to create an individual. Tairu had learned much about himself but still had so much more to learn. I can feel it, my body it's strange, I know who I am. The world is mine. Yes his thoughts sounded dark, but they were not in actuality. I can do anything I set my mind too, all I need is faith, patience, and diligence. 8 + 3 = 11 Fail Cp: 24/24 That just feels so much better! Tairu thought as he finally moved from his seated position. He first brought his arms back to his side and then used them to gain the leverage needed to stand up. "I understand it much more now Yokou-sama." Tairu told her as readied himself to continue training his Byakugan. "I was able to reach that peace you spoke of and now I am ready to continue." Tairu reviewed his training in his mind until he found where he had left off. Now then, time to continue with my endurance training. Tairu was ready to jump right back into his training; starting with his normal practice routine. Tairu did a quick mental and physical run through of the 48 hand seal sequence. When he was ready Tairu started the sequence to activate his Byakugan. 11 + 3 = 14 Pass. Cp 21/24 I know what I must do. Tairu told himself as he got ready for a another round of practice. First Tairu slowly went through all 48 of the hand seals used for activating the Byakguan in his mind. After that he formed all 48 hand seals with his hands for practice. Finally he did both at the same but without actually applying chakra. Let's see if I am ready yet. Tairu said in his mind. He felt it was time to try and forcibly activate his Byakugan again. I must continue with this training as the success or failure of my future may hinge upon this very training.Tairu raised his hands and applied his chakra as he formed each hand seal. Here, he looked thoughtful, almost pouting with the slight frown. Now that he thought about it, Yokou really did get very violent over the years...yes...even Shika too right...?
Remembering his Nara Student, who had discourteously ditched back in Iwa, Zephyr waved the air in front of him to dispel a suddenly disturbingly vivid image of Shikamori's angry face - complete with all the veinthrobs and all.
Bah! Nonsense. Shika and Yokou should be happy. Being angry all the time is not good for the skin, they'll get wrinkles early. Here he nodded, sagely to his thoughts, obviously pleased with such reasoning. Of course. His dear children (note: his Sennin Students), were simply too overstressed. Not that it was his fault...

19 + 3 = 22 Pass. Cp: 18/24 Tairu focused on his chakra control as he maintained his Byakguan. As Tairu stood silently using almost all of his effort to train with his Byakugan in order to increase the time he could keep it active he wondered how long Yokou-sama could keep hers active for. I wonder if she could go six hours, or maybe she can even use it for a full day! Tairu thought excitedly at the possibilities. Even now Tairu could tell that the Byakguan was beginning to effect him less as he worked to not only train in the use of his Byakguan but as he trained his chakra circulatory system. Tairu felt like he could continue to use his Byakugan for another two hours. "Lady Yokou-sama." Tairu paused for a moment, "I believe that I am ready to move on." Tairu said as he almost effortlessly maintained his Byakugan. -3 CpJuuken Kempo Ryuu

Saito looked up to his mentor. His eyes glinting. Of course... that's what he should do...
His Chakra pool was too low.. just like a muscle. One had to work, strain before it could rebuild, stronger. Chakra was no different. He remembered running as a child, how often his father would simply tell him to keep running.
Back then, he didn't understand why he was pushed. Later he studied anatomy. Chakra was never needed before, why would he have some already? It had no reason to. He needed to give it a reason.
"I'm afraid to say you know better than I do about these things...", he replied, nodding his head.
His sensei was quite free, and peace-loving-- he'd trained before.. these kids-- he wondered. How was their chakra, what did they do he didn't. What was different and why did he choose to train him...
He didn't want to as at this point, it was much more important to get all this right. He could ask when he had a headband on his head.

O infant generation...  Hp: 1650 | Cp: 2738 | MHp: 1650Yokou noted with mild amusement how so Tairu would glance her way time and again, particularly after he finished that meditation exercise... Well. He had actually mastered the basics sooner than he had expected, because after all, the metaphysical principles - the philosophies of chakra behavior and nature - are much more difficult to grasp: physical concepts come naturally, because the body would know if it was within its nature, and the sight can see.
Sometimes, the trick to Sight is to not see.
She looked thoughtful, when he addressed her. True, they could continue: Tairu is doing very well, and progressing smoothly. But perhaps it was a bit ambitious to divide so the portions of the Jyuuken Kempo to possibly two days, or with a little hope, one, where usually her clan Elders grant seven. The boy needed to rest and...wasn't today the day the village held their seasonal Genin Exams...?
And then it struck her.
Tairu probably made such a request to begin learning the Jyuuken Kempo only if he had finished his Academy curriculum.

Tairu really wanted to continue training but he would have plenty of time to do that after he became a Genin. "You are correct Yokou-sama, they are to be held in the training field and begin with the morning academy bell." Tairu told her. Tairu became slightly apprehensive as he thought about the Genin Exams. The other students he had met just strated training but the ones at the exams had the benefit of a full academy session. How much stronger will they be than I? Tairu looked at Yokou-sama and remembered his discovery, Faith will provide. "Lady Yokou-sama, would like to watch the exams?" Tairu asked hoping deep in his heart that she would come with him.

A pout quickly formed.
He wanted to seeeeeee too.
That was why he agreed to leave Iwa for and face the wrath of the Council for the...ahem...debt. But it wasn't his fault! It was Shika's for calling him old - to which he was not, he was only five years older than his Students. Anyways, it wasn't HIS fault that he didn't know what sort of wood the ANBU captains who happened to own that curry shop whose floor his Jutsu wrecked used...and ahhhh...that the replacement was a bit...noticeable.
Tch. Wood was wood, it was only one shade of color wrong.
But Yokou would be greatly unhappy if he attempted to reason out that. And so would Shikamori, the Nara had to come back (though he did sort of guilt him into it...) and reason with the Council to actually release the money for the paying of the debt to a foreign nation.
"Hmn, tell you what..." Said Zephyr, to Saito. "We'll go see the Genin Exams, but while we are there, you are going to do a restricted form of chakra burn-out. Using all of your body's energy (note: falling into negative Cp) is dangerous, and can even possibly be fatal. If you hold a seal of your preference, you may find building up chakra would be easier...do that and release your chakra into the air." There was a pause, as he gestured towards the abdomen.
"So do that at a comfortable pace of your own. If your main chakra source here feels strained at a point, and can no longer sustain the chakra release, do not force it...by all means...halt the chakra flow outwards by slowing it gradually to a trickle, and reverse the process until you have as close as possible eliminated outwards chakra release." He looked at the boy. "That is because, as living beings, naturally, we always give off at least a minimal amount of energy back to the Great Mother (Earth)."
"If you feel the need to rest, rest."
It would do no good if the child pushed his body too destructively.
He looked to Yokou then. "Yuuko! Yuuko, do you know where the practical is being held...?"
Restricted Chakra Burn-out
Description: The teacher has the students keep burning their chakra to build up more chakra stamina. They must hit exactly 0 to finish the training successfully. If they went into the negatives, the student would pass out and would have to be revived by their teacher (chakra transfer only revives, does not give chakra to students...or the traditional icy water) and students then must rest until their Cp is recovered.
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra mod.
DC: Every interval of 5 in whatever the result of your formula equates to -1 Cp. But as Zephyr notes, chakra control is very important. Getting into the negatives is very dangerous, and can actually kill people. So, if you fail to perfectly get your Cp to 0 (in this case, since you have no chakra mod. that means if and only if your dice roll is a 15 or 20, to which it will be a -3 (for a dice roll of 15) or a -4 Cp (for a dice roll of 20) respectively) then you must do this each time you are in danger of falling into negative Cp:
DC: 12
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
**If and only if you succeed that second check, will your Cp reach perfectly 0. Note that you can only count a success if you reach 0 normally, without doing this chakra control regulation section. Thus, if you rolled a 15, and is in danger of falling into -1 Cp (meaning you will faint until Zephyr revives your character somehow by either transferring chakra or throwing cold water, etc.), then you do the Chakra Control check. If you succeed, you manage to reach 0, but it does not count towards the success of this activity.
***Rest when necessary. You will regain +1 Cp for every resting post, four completed lines minimum. Keep note that in resting posts you cannot do anything else, or any other checks, BUT rest.
Special Note (important!): This means Zephyr's bonus in this case will actually SUBTRACT from your dice roll rather than add to it, from giving advice on regulating to prevent you from dangerously depleting your chakra.

He was quite excited too, now he would get to meet the people who would probably be his comrades after the exam. Tairu was about to leave when he remembered that one of his kunai was still back up in the forest clearing. "I will return shortly Yokou-sama, then we can go to the Genin Exams. Tairu quickly ran up the hill he has slid down until he had to make a final strong jump to reach the top. Once in the now empty clearing Tairu quickly spotted his kunai. He ran over, grabbed it, and then made sure to put it back in it's assigned place on his belt. Tairu then ran back and slid down the hill side. A little out of breath he came to a stop in front of Yokou-sama. "Alright then let's go!" Tairu said with excitement clearly present in his voice. [Exit to the Training grounds]

She vaguely wondered who the teachers for the new generation were. The last she had heard, one from her family, a young brilliant child of the clan Council named Nyame, had been teaching with her friend and teammate, the captain of the black ops forces, Senju Anzu. They, along with their teammate, a Nara, were the last living reminders of the juuyondaime, Fukushima Akane...

He looked away, they were ahead of him. He coughed once more and looked back as his sensei started about this restricted training.
'Death', rung up in his mind. So pushing yourself to a limit was far too dangerous. He /would/ however need to push himself to an extent for this to work right.
He watched as the kage conversed with the LOVELY Yokou and smiled, quickly making the tiger hand-sign.
He should give this one try before leaving for the exams.
Saito hunched over, forming the sign and closing his eyes. "Aaahh!!!", he started subconsciously, his chakra slowly moving, churning. He certainly felt that in his stomach like the shinobi said. His eyes opened and winced, his chakra pumping.
He broke his sign and stopped the focus and looked up, he'd have to do this there, apparantly everyone was in a hurry. He sighed, and moved his hands into his pockets, following Yokou-sama.

Restricted Chakra Burn-out
Description: The teacher has the students keep burning their chakra to build up more chakra stamina. They must hit exactly 0 to finish the training successfully. If they went into the negatives, the student would pass out and would have to be revived by their teacher (chakra transfer only revives, does not give chakra to students...or the traditional icy water) and students then must rest until their Cp is recovered.
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra mod.
DC: Every interval of 5 in whatever the result of your formula equates to -1 Cp. But as Zephyr notes, chakra control is very important. Getting into the negatives is very dangerous, and can actually kill people. So, if you fail to perfectly get your Cp to 0 (in this case, since you have no chakra mod. that means if and only if your dice roll is a 15 or 20, to which it will be a -3 (for a dice roll of 15) or a -4 Cp (for a dice roll of 20) respectively) then you must do this each time you are in danger of falling into negative Cp:
DC: 12
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
**If and only if you succeed that second check, will your Cp reach perfectly 0. Note that you can only count a success if you reach 0 normally, without doing this chakra control regulation section. Thus, if you rolled a 15, and is in danger of falling into -1 Cp (meaning you will faint until Zephyr revives your character somehow by either transferring chakra or throwing cold water, etc.), then you do the Chakra Control check. If you succeed, you manage to reach 0, but it does not count towards the success of this activity.
***Rest when necessary. You will regain +1 Cp for every resting post, four completed lines minimum. Keep note that in resting posts you cannot do anything else, or any other checks, BUT rest.
Special Note (important!): This means Zephyr's bonus in this case will actually SUBTRACT from your dice roll rather than add to it, from giving advice on regulating to prevent you from dangerously depleting your chakra.
