[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl]
Dawn quickly moved over to stand with Kuja. She stared in confusion as James soon turned against Kuro Oni. A part of her wanted to help him. However there was the nagging part of her told her this could be a trap from Ajora. She looked back and forth between her friend and his replica, she then looked at Kuja as well. Not sure what the next move she should do.

[Azrael: The Dutchmann's Crow's Nest]
Really, the nobody thought he could actually hit him from that range? Azrael ducked under the Chakram with ease, laughing, before trying to turn to the side. One of the spikes on the second chakram, that came from behind, grazed his cheek, slicing into it to draw a little blood.
The replica frown as he touched his face, pulling his hand away to look at the blood on it. He got too cocky...but that damn nobody.... "Feh. At least I have a heart." Not like the nobody could hear him, but still, he needed to be a bit more careful. Regardless, though, he kept firing off his wind arrows at his target. After all, that hair was screaming at him like a bull's eye.

{Kyle; Valmar : Battlefield}
Damn. Okay, I'll go scout it out and fish them out. Then I'll just uh, swim through an entire army or something to avoid being massacred by them. He said, looking up as a shadow passing overhead darkened the area. It was those little jellyfish thingies. The ones with the weird symbol. Well, not like he could have avoided being attacked while skewering enemy lines. Dropping the earth around him, he swam up and started attacking, piercing through them left and right. They weren't hard to kill, there were just so many of them that tiny attacks got in every now and again. Diving back down, he started swimming along the bottom, not quite touching the seafloor in case they were capable of sensing things. Which, assuming Noelle could scan, was a definite possibility.
Watching the boulders explode into shards with something close to glee on his face, Valmar stopped hurling them back. Maybe that would teach the little idiot to not play with his things. He hoped not. Descending to the seafloor, he pulled at the sand around him, testing how it moved with the water. Easy enough. Reaching as far as he could, he ripped his arms upward and the sand followed. A floor of sand flew upwards, stretching to around the middle layers of the battlefield. And he could feel everything through his connection with it. And he could control it. Finding the forms of front-line mermen, he started to form little blades of sand when he stopped and concentrated on one area, not too far away. Then he released the magic holding most of the sand and let it drift.
He knew the shape in the sand. That silly top-hat, two blades, a feeling of magic trying to push away the sand forming into a small cage around it. He'd found him. He started swimming forward, towards his trapped rat, then released the magic when he caught a glimpse of him. Time to hunt. Darkness wrapped around him quickly and he disappeared from view.
As the sand passed over him, Kyle felt the magic in it, then watched as it came together. His magic wouldn't affect it and it was like trying to cut steel. Whichever Replica it was was considerably better in the magic department than he was. Then it just...stopped. The magic was gone and the sand was just sand. Looking around, he saw something with a massively long tail, just before it disappeared. And it had a really long head, quite squarish. Maybe it was a Geist? One of those...Tabula Rasa? Djinn? Shapeshifters. Yeah. He didn't think they could disappear though. And if it wasn't a head, but a hat...well, it was time to skedaddle. "Noelle...I'm pretty sure I found the Replica. Unless Tabula Rasa or Djinn can go invisible. God, please tell me they can go invisible." He said as he started swimming as fast as he could, hoping to get near someone who could help him stop the thing.

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Pearl --> ??? ]
"Not particularly. You'd be more useful with a heart," Ajora mused, keeping his eyes on the battle. When James was thrown against the wooden deck, however, there was a cringe, a shot of pain running up his neck. The Replica narrowed his gaze, looking down with a scowl.
"That idiot," he grumbled, shaking his head. "Well, I'll leave you be, I have other work to get done before this battle is over."
Without waiting for a response, Ajora practically fell off the nest's side. Because of the whirlpool, it was at an angle, directly over the center of the twisting waters. As he fell straight down, his body slowly became wrapped in Darkness before disappearing with a splash.

[ Riku ; Kuja : Caribbean : Deck ]"Well, this is a twist," Kuja mused, observing the battle between James and Kuro for the briefest of seconds before making his decision.
Leaving Dawn's side in a blur of motion, Kuja hovered around the two berserkers until he was behind Kuro (which, with his flight, only took a couple of seconds) and, with a flick of his wrist, threw his five Holy spheres in a straight line at the Replica. They would not explode, rather, they would act like physical orbs, assaulting his back in preparation for a longer combo.Riku had struggled against fish-men just to make his way over to the battle with Kuro only to see that James had somehow come to his senses... after being attacked by Dawn. A flicker of recognition erupted in his mind as he was brought back to his own possession--"Impossible..."
"No. You won't use me for this!"
"Riku!"
"You've got to run! The Heartless are coming!" He released a single "heh" before turning to pay attention elsewhere--he wasn't needed there right now. Axel, it seems, was under attack by someone on the other ship--Riku reached out with his other, once-abandoned sense.
Crow's Nest... Replica.
Jumping onto one of the nets to get a clearer shot, Riku threw a hand out and launched a Dark Firaga just ahead of the Crow's Nest. The ships were spinning, so firing directly at it would result in an obvious miss. Leading it just so, however, would result in a (hopefully unexpected by the enemy) hit.

[ Kyle : Atlantica : Battlegrounds ]For the moment, Kyle paused in between his shouts, trying to catch his breath. His head was searing with pain, but he did everything he could to push past it. They needed him and his artillery.
The battlefield had been thinned somewhat, though only of the lesser creatures. Most of the Screwdriver Heartless were decimated, all of the Sheltering Zone Heartless had been broken down into their smaller Sea Neon Heartless counterparts, and a mass portion of the swarming jellyfish creatures were wiped out, each having only withstood a single blast from the Star Cannons.
Still, the larger creatures, such as the Aquatanks, and those not truly weak to Light, such as the Geists, were abundant. They all took additional damage due to the shots having Banish-qualities (causing extra damage to summoned creatures), but each blast was so weak that only double damage still wasn't enough for a clear kill.
God, my head..:Try to stay calm. I can only help so much, all of the pressure is still on your mind to keep the stars up. You're already running dangerously low on mana.:.... I'll have to start taking back some of the seals to compensate..:I'll handle that, then, while you try to focus on who needs your help now. I'll start with--:.No. Leave his..:Kyle, surely you know--:.I know the consequences, but I'll do what it takes to keep this battle in our favor. Besides, we still have Atlantis to get to...
With a small sigh from Ultima in the back of his mind, Kyle went to work, his glowing eyes seeing through various Star Cannons. His entire body was still a glowing network of golden lines, but he didn't seem to care. He felt out, trying to see who needed him--
Noelle!
A sharp pulse of anxiety jumped through the seal from her to him. She was in immediate danger.
---
Without warning, five Star Cannons zoomed around the Grimm approaching Noelle and began firing, unleashing a steady barrage of weak Banish-like shots. They all circled him at random levels and speeds, doing whatever it took to keep his attention off of Noelle. Hopefully, the concentrated barrage would make short work of the creature, especially since he was surrounded, but if they were as tough as Noelle and Prote had stressed, it was probably unlikely.--- "Thank you for your assistance, but Kyle needs to conserve his energy."That was Ultima's only message as the Command Seals slowly dissipated from the hands of Jenny and Sora. It took none of their energy, only the seed of mana Kyle had placed to give him access. As it vanished, they would feel their direct connection to Kyle disappear, including the sense of anxiety and frustration that might have seeped through.

[ Celia : Caribbean : Dutchman's Brig ]Though there were two guards standing watch outside of Jack's cell, there was only the briefest of blurs before they fell to the ground, either unconscious or worse. Without hesitation, a lithe woman clothed in midnight blue stepped into the brig, her gaze turning to the great Captain Jack Sparrow. "We meet again, Captain," Celia mused walking forward toward the bars but not quite close enough to be within reach. She was referencing his previous lock-up, in which she had helped to set free him and the others captured by Ajora and Davy Jones. "You never did have much luck with Jones, did you?"

{Bobbi .:. Atlantis .:. Above Battlefield} Bobbi halted her Crystal Spires for a bit; no sense in using up all of her mana this early in the game. She wanted to take a look at the battlefield and see what was happening, but one of the Shades popped up right in front of her, seemingly out of nowhere. She started in surprise, and immediately shot the Geist out of pure reflex. That seemed to stun it a bit, so she shot it again, and again, and again until it was dead. Or whatever passed for dead with those things. When she had a little breathing room again, she'd missed the cloud of sand that had risen up, and saw some of Kyle's laser cannon thingies blasting a Grimm by Noelle. The field looked relatively cleared from up here, as most of the small-fry were taken out with ease. She shot anything unfriendly that moved, often stunning a Geist like she had with the Shade for someone else to take out. Her arms were starting to hurt, but she ignored it in favor of killing monsters and keeping her friends in one piece. ~✧~✧~✧~✧~✧~ {Demyx .:. Black Pearl .:. Crow's Nest}
Demyx didn't question Ajora's leaving; he'd figured the Replica had a few tricks up his sleeve, and the abrupt departure wasn't all that surprising. Instead, he focused on blasting people around with his Geysers, and replacing any of the Water Clones that were taken down by Kuro Oni.

[Noelle ~ Atlantica ~ Battlefield]
All the distractions. All of them. Kyle M. was talking at her, Prote was talking at her, Titan was yelling at her, and there was a cloud of sand settling over the battlefield, courtesy of the Replica in their midst. Multi-tasking in dangerous situations--fun stuff.
”Don’t you suppose this is a strange time for a gift?” Prote asked as he came to Noelle’s aid, slashing at heartless.
”Not gift, present.” Noelle said shortly, miraculously maintaining her sense of humor despite the situation, ”As in ‘I’m presently going to die unless you help me.’”
”You humans are hard to read.”
”Now, that’s a different matter entire--s**t.” The agromancer exclaimed, tossing up a barrier of sand at her left side as the Grimm swung his scythe at her. It was about that time that Kyle’s aid came to her, blasting the Grimm from all angles. This gave her enough time to address everything else.
’Hate to break it to you, man,’ She said to Kyle M. over the charms, ’But that’s not a Geist. Just don’t die, I’ll be there in a minute.’
The Grimm was beginning to realize that no matter how it moved, the barrage would still be there. With this knowledge, it returned to its original task--destroying merfolk. Noelle suddenly felt a growing chill in the water. The Grimm was desperately trying to regain the energy it was losing from the onslaught of attacks. This battle was going to turn into one over energy--Noelle had to get him to use more than he could regain.
”Prote! You take the back, I’ll stay front!” She ordered, swirling sand and seaweed around the Grimm, trying to keep up with its movements.
The Grimm was giving her a run for her money, though. The monster was fast, and she soon was focused more on defense than she was on offense. Prote was taking shots from behind, making the Grimm turn every few attacks. This opened up its back for Noelle to press to the side and drive her spear forward. The two of them tag teamed like that for some time, but only saw the Grimm get very gradually weaker. Noelle wouldn’t be there to help Kyle as soon as she had hoped. That’s when the tables turned. The Grimm had gotten accustomed to their pattern and was going to strike back. It turned to Prote again, anticipating Noelle’s attack. Just as she moved in it turned back, swinging the scythe down on the small blonde. She shouted and darted inward, blocking the scythe’s staff with her spear. If she hadn’t moved in enough she’d have gotten cut, and even now the scythe’s tip was merely an inch from her back. The Grimm pressed downward, trying to force the scythe over her head closer. All it needed was one little cut and she would be taken care of. Noelle held firm, shivering in the chilled water surrounding the Grimm.
”Hey, Prote, I don’t want to rush you or anything, but GET THIS b*****d THE HELL AWAY FROM ME.”

(Cue: Tobias Marberger & Gabriel Shadid -- Siren's Call) [Jenny :: Atlantica :: Throne Room] Jenny strained her ears on the songs of her friends as she tried to focus her abilities on whatever incoming feed they were giving her. And from the looks of the small snippets she was getting... things weren't going so well. Her music changed pace then; soft melodies paired with Siren's alluring voice. Her song carried over the battlefield, solemn at first as if singing of the homes they were protecting before her voice gathered strength and volume. A multitude of glyphs lit over the battlefield and streams of light erupted, enveloping her allies with Faith and Bravery buffs. Then, little astral nymphs flew out and wrapped them all in a iridescent Veil before vanishing into bubbles. As the music played, the time mage felt her connection to Kyle die off, with only Ultima's words to keep her from worrying. Her brows furrowed, Kyle, you're an idiot. If he needed energy, he was more than welcome to siphon it off; after all, she seemed to have an endless supply. Jenny heaved a sigh, adamant on protecting her friends. Her flute sang out and almost immediately, a rain of meteors hailed down across the battlefield.
"Someone give me some directions, or I'm just going to keep raining down space rocks on these guys." The lack of visuals worried Jenny, especially for someone who thrived on using her eyes for information. But if they really were in trouble, so much so that there was no time to send visuals then... . razz ractice using your ears~:.I have been! It's just- argh! Jenny closed her eyes again, allowing herself to sink into the realm of music as she once again stood between so many threads of melodies. Focus. She felt it then. Kyle M. and Noelle... the two terramancers. Their songs played faster than all others. Her fingers danced across the flute, the notes spilling forth as she directed them. Haste sped up their movement as Jenny frantically decided what she could do next. "I've never tried this on anyone but myself but... better late than never!" Her song wrapped around both Kyle and Noelle; and it was as if the dimensions shifted and their vision became slightly lustrous as the Vanish spell fell into effect, taking them into its folds of invisibility.

[ Jack ~ Caribbean ~ Dutchman's Brig ]
Jack had been pacing his cell, talking to himselves--yes, himselves. He nearly jumped when Celia spoke. He hadn't heard her come in. Regaining his composure he looked to her, approaching the gridiron cell gate to peer through it.
"Oh no, he and I get along swimmingly. I just like it down here." He said with a devious smile.

The sapphire seductress smirked somewhat at the caged sparrow. "Well, that's a pity. You need to get going."
Slipping her hand into and out of a small pouch on her waist, she held up a still-beating heart, just out of Jack's reach. "Things aren't progressing fast enough, so we've decided to cut some corners for you."
With her other hand, she reached out and touched the cell door's lock. "Are you ready to be a free bird, Captain Sparrow?"

[ Kyle : Atlantica : Battlegrounds ]
It's not enough. It's too powerful to be affected by those...
Faith suddenly enveloped his body, the glowing matrix on his body suddenly doubling in intensity, making him an odd sort of beacon above the battle. The sudden power flooded his being, but all the strength in the world wouldn't help his energy.
Though getting more bang for your buck doesn't hurt, I suppose.
Jenny called out for visuals--apparently, the others were distracted.
Gimme just a sec and I'll get you the entire layout.
Besides, I haven't seen...
---
Focusing on Noelle, Kyle manipulated the five Starlights (Blue, Red, Green, Gold, and Violet) to begin a vertical revolution behind her as she and the Grimm fought. As their velocity increased, they began to blur, their colors slowly coming together toward the center; it looked more like a solid, somewhat dusty ring than five separate stars. When it all focused into a point, it was a single point of white light--and then Noelle Vanished.
But the Grimm was still clashing blades. The Vanish would do nothing if he knew where she was.
With a sudden pulse, the pinprick of light exploded forward as a much larger, concentrated beam of light, easily half a person's full height in each direction. It burst forth toward the Grimm, harmlessly enveloping Noelle as it passed. Having been clashing with Noelle, it was unlikely the creature would have much time to even try blocking without also giving Noelle a free shot.
After the blast subsided (it would also have struck anything hostile beyond the Grimm, as well, but no one friendly), the spheres were gone, having been entirely spent.
[ Faith-enhanced combined blast = 15~ MS, give or take ]
---
Kyle took a particularly heavy breath, his glimmering violet eyes still without pupils, still focused on something else.
The cannon-fire simply isn't enough for these bigger bastards... my energy's too spread out.
"Bobbi, if you're not busy, I have an idea, but I'm going to need your constant attention once we start if it works.
Without warning, all of the Star Cannons suddenly stopped firing before exploding into golden dust, which swirled rapidly in the currents of the battlefield, passing everything and everyone harmlessly.
"Jenny, here's the layout," he said, slowly giving her what could only be described as a mental rendering of the battlefield in its entirety, with key points (their friends, the Grimms, the Replicas, the Heartless Ascendents) blinking. His next message went to everyone below the sea with him.
"Ajora's missing, Dani's behind enemy lines with what I think is her Replica, Kyle's being chased by what I think is his."
Kyle grimaced, a small growl escaping his throat (audible only to Kyla and Sayrike, who were near him).
"Riku, any sign of your Ajora?"
"Not since the battle started."
They're converging on Atlantis.
"Noelle, the Geists--they're made of memories, right? Not Darkness? I'm assuming, since my Light magic isn't doing as much."
The golden dust slowly began to rise in a spiral fashion above the battlefield.
I'll need more, Ultima.
---
"Thank you for your assistance, but Kyle needs to conserve his energy."
That was Ultima's only message as the Command Seals slowly dissipated from the hands of Kyla and another ally. She took none of Kyla's energy, though she did take some of the other's, as he seemed to be doing well enough as it was. As the seals vanished, they would feel their direct connection to Kyle disappear, including the sense of anxiety and frustration that might have seeped through.

{James ; Kuro Oni ; Alex : The Black Pearl : Deck}
Kuro Oni was quick to recover from his surprise and was back on the attack. Immediately he lashed out at the water clone that approached him head on. Dispatching it with a strike of his "claws" of dark energy. He turned to see the other water clones coming at his sides. He quickly destroyed the one on his right and Alex finished off the one on his left with a few swipes of his clawed gauntlets. The Nightmare Dreadnought had caught sight of Kuja as he hovered around them and anticipated the attack. Charging energy into his feet and legs he pushed off of the deck hard and into a moonsault, backflipping to avoid the five holy blasts that Kuja had launched his way. He then countered by unleashing another Wolf Fang Fist unleashing another nine blades of energy upon the battlefield below. More than likely hitting a few of the re-summoned water clones as well as anyone else who got in the path of the blades.
"This is really getting old!" Kuro yelled as he landed away from the combatants.
Alex quickly moved out of the way of the five blasts just as the Nightmare Dreadnought had done, causing the blasts to continue on their path. His focus immediately turned back to the the water clones that had reappeared.
"You won't get away this time!" James yelled as he "dashed' forward.
He paid no mind to Kuja's blasts, which even as they hit him caused no damage. He even dashed through Kuro's blasts as well, he didn't seem to notice as the blades nicked his arms and legs as he focused on closing the distance. When he finally succeeded he began to punch and slash at Kuro Oni furiously. His fingers curved like claws and as he slashed blades of energy flew at Kuro Oni as well. This was how James used to fight against his brother when he was really angry. He didn't care if he hit or missed as he would unleash what he used to call his machine gun punches.
{{James learned Wolf Fang Fist}}
The Nightmare Dreadnought was forced back on the defensive shortly after he had landed as James yet again closed the distance. He raised his arms up to block the vital areas as his pathetic original unleashed a fury of attacks. Most of them were harmless fists that would barely even tickle. However, the energy attacks were where he would deal the real damage. He did his best to dodge the onslaught. However, with the energy claws streaking by in multiple directions, it was difficult.
"Enough!" the Nightmare Dreadnought yelled as he brought his arms up, focusing his dark energy. He then brought his arms down unleashing a Dark Wave attempting to blow James back.
The corsair didn't event try and brace for the dark wave as the blast impacted with his chest and knocked him back, causing him to crash to the deck. Berserk as he was, he tuned out the pain he was experiencing with all of his will. He tried to rise to his feet. However, he was having difficulty.
Kuro Oni smirked as he began to approach James, glad to finally have the upper hand once again. Alex by this point had finished off the other clones that Demyx had summoned and he closed in as well. His focus so intent upon his original that he had forgotten about the other combatants around him.
"You really should just stay down, even in the berserk fury you are in you cannot beat me," the Nightmare Dreadnought arrogantly stated.

[Joe: Atlantica: Battlegrounds]
How long had he been fighting? Having dived right into the heart of battle with the frontlines, he hadn't had much time to actually think. Not that he would've let himself. Everything was reactionary.Ememy from his right side, move, counter, go up and strike underside of a fish heartless, dodge a geist(he couldn't remember the name it had, just that it gave his skin an icy feeling that was more than just the cold it 'gave off'').
Kyle's message reached him. Joe couldn't have afforded to have kept his mind and heart shut in this big of a battle, and he heard the status of Kyle and Dani. He...didn't really know either of them yet, but...maybe it was the gentleman, or the chauvinist, or even the sexist part of him, that made him think that Dani would need his help more than Kyle.
Joe disengaged an enemy with a swift strike, and swam up and up and up. He scanned the enemy lines. Where was Dani? Did he even know what she looked like?...Yes, he saw her a few times, it was just a matter of finding her. Of course, he was so focused on finding her, he didn't really notice the large Aquatank coming up behind him. Or the black smoke that seemed to swirl around just inside it's mouth.
[Azrael: Caribbean: Dutchmann's Crow's Nest]
Az flicked to the side, his hand going out lwith a wind arrow collapsing into a ball to cushion against the dark fireball that almost his him. The hell had that come from? Not that it still hadn't hurt his hand. Apparently the keyblader had more magic than the dark wind user, and Az shook his hand. Two strikes had hit him. Maybe he wasn't as safe as he thought, up in the crow's nest. But nwo he had a few new targets.
It took a second to set up, to build the magic, but the he shot out his hands, together, and a giant wind ball shot out. Just like Riku, Az had to get it to follow the spin of the ships...but that wasn't too hard for the wind ball. It aimed for Riku, and whether or not it was guarded, he'd find the wonderful surprise of it exploding into a bunch of razor wind. "Suck on that."
