Kyoshi looked up and smiled brightly at Dusk. Stopping what he was doing he walked over to her and hugged her tightly. "Hey. Would you like a drink?" He asked, and kissed the top of her forehead.
Gambler nodded vigorously. "It would be difficult....I would kick my own a** for hurting such a great guy like you and besides, if you and me were to fight it would be highly unorthodox. I mean, I'm not your average boss." She said with a wry smile and went to pour some more tea into her mug. "Want some more? And I'm already scared of the elves."

"Don't be. They're nothing without Rave and Kalore." Rave looked at the doorway and blinked as Eldin came in. "Hope you don't mind me coming in... I didn't want to come in while Monty and Kalore were 'talking'." The boy leaned against the counter as he got himself a drink.
Smiling, Dusk nodded, "Sure. What's still here?" She hadn't been here in so long, the place bringing up too many memories. Dusk sighed, "Zaine's gone... Ziggy's back."

Gambler looked over her shoulder and smiled as Eldin came in. "Well now, there's a face I missed seeing. Come sit down and talk with us Eldin. I'm just asking a bunch of questions. Maybe you can save Rave from answering the impossible, like about fat elves." She said as a joke.
"I think there's still rum." He looked at her and slightly frowned, hugging her closer and rubbing her back gently. "I'm sorry to hear that. How's Ziggy doing? If he's doing good then that's something to be happy about. As for Zaine? He's in a better place. I hope." He said, even if him and Zaine left things on rocky terms, he didn't for one second regretted that time with the man.

Dusk sighed and nodded, "Yeah..." She grinned, "Though... We all know Heaven won't take him... And I've got a feeling Hell thinks he's gonna take over... So I think Zaine's stuck in Limbo..." Laughing, Dusk looked at Kyoshi and smiled, kissing him lightly. "How was your day?"
Blinking, Eldin scratched the back of his head, "I've never seen a fat elf, though it is possible..." Rave blinked, "Really?" He nodded, "Of course. If we were to eat too much junk food, sit in front of a TV, and not move for like... twenty years... We'd probably start to get fat..." He grinned while Rave chuckled, "I see... It's impossible..." Eldin laughed as he sat on the opposite side of Gambler, "Basically."

Gambler glowered at both elves. "That's horrible." She looked at herself and scowled. "I don't sit in front of a T.V but behind a big desk....Does that count as part of getting fat too?" She asked Eldin, hoping against hope that it wasn't true.
Kyoshi chuckled. "If you would like, I could always send in a good word to my old man up their and tell him about how good a guy Zaine is." He kissed her cheek and brought her over to the clean counter. "My day was good. It was normal. Uneventful and surprisingly quiet. I've never seen this city this quiet." He said and went to get her some rum.

"It is quiet... I don't like it..." Dusk leaned against the counter, "I thought you weren't a fan of alcohol?" She raised a brow, remembering that Kyoshi drank the alcohol, but didn't drink it near as much as she and her friends did. I don't get drunk easily, I have rights...
Eldin laughed, "I highly doubt you sit at a desk all day. And even if you did, you're active enough that it doesn't do much to you." "Is it possible for Seraphs to get overweight?" Rave raised a brow, wondering if that was really possible.

"Woa!" Gambler looked at her mug and glowered at it. "Yes." She grumbled softly and hoped that even with the uber awesome hearing the elves had, that they didn't hear what she said. "Not necessarily Seraphs just angels in generally...Sadly." Not her of course. She took some pride in her appearance so she looked the way she looked and that was pretty damn good for someone her height and age. Especially at her age.
Shrugging he placed a glass of rum on the rocks in front of Dusk. "It doesn't kill anyone if it's once in a while." He poured himself one and faced Dusk, lifting it up. "For Zaine." He said.

"For Zaine." Nodding in thanks, Dusk finished the toast for her old friend and took the drink just like any alcoholic would. She grinned and leaned over, giving Kyoshi a small kiss. "I like it all the time though... Does that mean that it's gonna kill me?"
Both elves hid a smile as they nodded, "I see...Well, you look nice though, so I didn't think that it was possible." Rave gave her a small smile while Eldin grinned, nodding, "Yeah."

Kyoshi chuckled and touched her cheek. "Hopefully it doesn't kill you or else I would be really pissed and never let you look at another drink again." He said in a tone of mock warning but couldn't as he just smiled at her.
Gambler looked up at both elves with a doubtful look but nodded. "I apprectiate the gesture but I'm pretty fat. Anyways, I met this one angel and he's pretty old but not really and well, he's the only fat on that I know. I don't talk to that guy much because being so fat made him grouchy." She drank some of her green tea and looked thoughtful.
"Though he did help us out alot back in the day. He's the one that got identities for me, Kyoshi and Monty. Especially me and Monty since we stayed in Europe alot and well Kyoshi got his from being in Japan for a long time. Lucky." She said and shrugged. "Good times we had. There are also fat demons. Now those guys are around. Like there is always one in at least each demon family." Just like there was one in Monty's family, well he had two fat demon relatives in his family.

Both elves nodded slowly, but Rave rolled his eyes, "You're not fat, Gambler." "Sir Rave is right. What makes you think you're fat?" Eldin raised a brow as he looked at the woman. She had the perfect figure, but was just too wild for his taste.
Dusk rolled her eyes and leaned into the touch, "Wow, Kyoshi... I don't think you'd go two days keeping me away from this drink..." She smirked and kissed his hand, challenging him.

Gambler shrugged slightly. "I haven't been exercising in a while and well....I felt like I ate a elephant in the last few weeks." Shrugging slightly again she looked at both elves. "So....What's it like living in Ellwood? And why don't you guys like outsiders? I know half of them are nuts but the rest aren't." She asked curious.
Kyoshi raised his brow. "The first challenge of the day and how much you want to bet that I can keep you away from this drink? You've been doing pretty good so far while living with me...Unless you have something to say that I should know about?" He asked, his brow going higher.

Dusk grinned, "I've had my rum and vodka every day, Kyoshi...Notice that you don't see me twenty-four seven." Leaning close to him, she grinned, "Now... You really think you can keep a shadow-user away from what she wants?" If Kyoshi really wanted her to quit drinking, she would, but Dusk really didn't want to...
"I see... Well, to answer your question, we don't like outsiders because our first few Kings allowed them and was betrayed continuously. People were mixing, and not by elven choice... Those who were tainted are the Dark Elves. They're an interesting race, but not allowed with the Light Elves. We're all Wood Elves, but separated into two sub-races." Rave nodded and Eldin continued, "Because of the tainting, we just made it to where no one could come in. It saved our people from being forcibly tainted, saved us from war, and has made people so confused about us that they underestimate us, which helps us in battle."

Kyoshi smiled at Dusk. "I've learned that getting Dusk unhappy is like playing with fire. I'm not looking to get burned sweetheart so as much as I'm highly tempted, I don't think so." He stole a kiss from Dusk and finished up his drink.
"Oh. I see. Okay." She nodded and then stood up to finish off the rest of the warm green tea. "Who used to mix blood with you guys?" She asked interested.

"I don't know, no one really knows." Eldin shrugged, "It happened way before I was born." Rave nodded in agreement. "They locked up the borders a little before I was born and no one really talks about it."
Rolling her eyes, Dusk stole back the kiss and moved to sit more comfortably on the bar stool. "I see... Well, what should I do to keep Kyoshi happy? He seems to be trying hard to keep me happy..." She leaned against her elbows, grinning at him.

Kyoshi grinned and flicked her nose. "Just keep gracing me with those lovely smiles and I will die a happy man." He said and went to rinse out his glass and dry it up, looking like a true bartender.
Gambler gave the 'oh' face and nodded. "Well that's horrible you know?" She sat down, sitting back relaxed. "At least your able to protect your people from it. Mines...Not so much. Angels that have fell or gave into temptation end up mixing with everyone. Some do it for love the rest...." She shrugged. "The rest do it because they can. Samething goes for the demons. They really aren't bad guys...Just UBER bad angels who like fire." That was her nice definition of it. "We all tend to either go with each other or mix with everyone else. Man, there's like so many half breeds out their it's crazy." She said thinking about the number that might be out there.
