Charlotte walked into a small city, carrying a large sack in her arms. She had picked many herbs on the way between this town and the last, and was needing to find a place to mix them together to make potions and medicines. She looked around the crowded streets, sometimes having to stretch on her toes to find a place to work. "Hmph. Sometimes, I curse the fact that I'm shorter than most..." she mumbled to herself.

Dillon stumbled out of a tavern, fresh from a recent victory. He had ale spilled down his front and raucous cheering could be heard from inside. He turned, grinned and raised his fist into the air. Louder cheering was heard. He then turned and stumbled away.
After getting a safe distance from the tavern, his drunken gait smoothed and he shifted into a more natural stride. He lost the aimless look in his eyes and looked vaguely saddened by recent events. He sighed to himself and patted down the stains.

Charlotte sighed a little, and turned to head off to the side of the main road so she could look more freely for a place to sit and work, and bumped into a person, making her drop the bag, and some of her herbs spilling out. "Oh! Oh no! I'm so sorry!" she said, quickly crouching down to pick up her herbs. The person she had bumped into frowned and started to shout at her, telling her to watch where she was going, and to not be so careless, and even started demanding recompense for her bumping into him.

The sound of yelling broke Dillon's concentration. He turned to see a young girl surrounded by fallen herbs with a tall, brutish man standing over her making threats. He stepped forward, his face serious.
"Buddy, the girl said she's sorry, move along."
As he spoke, he placed his hand lightly on the hilt of his sword.

The man glared at Dillon and shouted, "Sorry is not enough! Her nasty herbs got all over my clothes!" He stomped on some of her herbs. "She's to pay for new clothes!"
Charlotte then stood up, pulling a wand out of her sleeve, and shot a stream of water at the man. After hosing him down, she put her wand back in her sleeve and crossed her arms over her chest. "There. I have erased the 'filthy herbs' from your clothes. Be on your way! And do not dare step on my herbs as you leave!" she said.
The man sputtered as he was now drenched, and he glared at them, raising his fist to strike at the herbalist. "Now you've done it!"

Without a word, Dillon charged forward and punched the man on the side of his head. Before the man could react, he kicked the side of his knee to bring him to the ground. He drew his sword and pointed it at the man.
"You've had your clothes washed and taken some herbs as payment. Leave. Now."
