"It's alrigh" she assured and give them a panflet "You might want to read this first" (It's the 2nd post) Jabir was the first to enter the Alignment Room. As soon as he steped in the lights went on, showing the large circle surrounded by the 10 collumns
"Who wants to go first?"

Chao followed the Mishap's and maggie in, skimming the pamphlet Maggie had handed her before turning her attention back to what was going on.
Reid fluttered off of Ike's shoulders and looked around the room curiously from the air. At Jabir's question he looked back to Ike and shrugged, "I'll go," he volunteered, tilting his head as he spoke in the first person, getting a feel for the sound he'd be using often, "unless Ike wants to go first."

"I'm fine," Ike grinned and motioned for Reid to continue, "You go first." He rolled his freed shoulders backward, causing one to pop rather loudly.
Ah, my noble little boy...
"This should be interesting," Rabid murmured as she read her pamphlet.

Back to the ground then. Landing Reid took a small breath and stepped into the circle, focusing... ohdear, he wasn't sure what he was supposed to focus on. The first thing that came to mind was some nameless melody or another, as usual, but he focused sharply on it all the same.
"Mhm..." Chao murmued and tucked the pamplet under one arm and watched quietly.

Rabid had her arms crossed again, the pamphlet shoved into her pants pocket. She stayed silent, watching the test curiously.
Focus? Focus on what? Ike thought, becoming more and more nervous by the moment. He stepped back and watched Reid carefully.

Only one of the collumns lighted and Jabir was a bit surprised when he realized which one it was "Space. Same as mine!"

"Jabir can do things with Space?" Reid asked, opening his eyes and reaching up to press the column. Space as in... where the stars were?
Chao smiled, though her thoughts were somewhere along the same line as her son as she'd never seen Jabir cast magic.
Unless it had something to do with the eldest Mishap's mentioned ability to shrink things....

"It's nuts," Rabid whispered, as if afraid to disrupt the atmosphere, "Liam says Jabir scares him. He's as powerful as William was, if not a little moreso."
Space? Hm. Ike remembered "space manipulator" not having the best connotations with the grownups.

He didn't heard Rabid's comment. "No. Space as in distance between things, big or small"
The lgiht changes as soon as Reid touched it, turning in 2 different ones. A red one nearly 2 feet tall and a bluish one starting from the top of the red, nearly as long
"A bit below averange. You'll probably will be more able to cast it on yourself rather on others. I can make a more accurate reading on you since we're both the same type"
"Now it's your turn Malachi. Just do the same Reid did"

Reid nodded pensively before heading out of the circle, giving Ike an encouraging smile and sitting by Chao's foot.
After Jabir and Rabid's explanation Chao was slightly relieved to hear Reid would be able to cast on himself rather than others. How could you protect your home against accidently shrinkage or something?
Kneeling down she ruffled Reid's hair and watched Ike.

Ike cleared his throat nervously and stepped into the circle, his tail swishing slowly back and forth. He still hadn't the slightest idea as to what he was supposed to be focusing on, so he decided on closing his eyes and focusing in on himself. Mummy said that was mediration or something.
Rabid slid down to the ground beside Reid. If he could manipulate space and cast on himself...would that mean his height could be fixed? She gave the boy a curious look before snapping her attention to Ike.

Reid's wings fluttered curiously at the combination.
Chao "ooo"ed quietly, tilting her head. Light and time... well, just the idea of light seemed a bit unusual for a vampiric squirrel child didn't it?

"What the ffffffff--" Rabid cocked an eyebrow, "So...the Vampiric rodent-that-only-lives-a-few-years gets...light n' time...foof...b'andaie..."
Ike opened his eyes and cocked his head to one side. Light? What? Tim? What did that mean? His twitching tail showed his excitement, but his expression was totally confused. He arched an eyebrow at Jabir and pointed to the glowing columns.
"I touch 'em?"
