-you can fall aslee during the loudest part of a piece yet still know what happened (did this)

-flinch when a percusionist walks by you (do this)

-yell at people who call pecusionists "drummers" (do this)

you know you're a band nerd when.......

* ok i did the thing where u sing ur band songs so much even ppl in band know them...yea, i do that a lot (haha) sry laina!!!

* we had 3 of our fellow "bandmates" dress up as our band directors (2of em) and an eX-band assistant (we know y...)

* WHEN U ARE WALKING DOWN THE HALLWAY/ROAD/ETC. WITH YOUR BAND FRIENDS...AND U ARE ALL IN STEP WITH EACH OTHER....(we do that constantly)

* when u are at a school assembly...concert...etc. and you are around other band people...when it comes time to clap u actually clap in time with each other! (did that the other day)

* When u actually draw a "rain turtle" on the practice area and have the pecussionists do a dance while playing their drums and "singing" just so it will rain and u will get a tiny bit of water (u would do it to if u only got 1 water break in over an hour!!!!!!)

* When ur "head DM" calls the bd god and herself the "righthand man"

ok im done for now! haha...

heart wen you tell every1 you know that your goin to band camp with your band buddies,then smack them for calling band camp stupid.(done many times,and this is my first year at goin to band camp) sweatdrop heart

*when you call yourself a band geek and/or nerd

*when people say concert you think of your sixth grade band ((happened last night))

Not sure if anyone said this but:

1. On your birthday (If you play a reed instrument) you just want reeds!!
2. If someone wants forgivness they MUST take you to a orchestra concert
3. If some guy wants to marry you they either have to get a band to play ur fav song or purpose after a concert or before ^-^ if they don't, its a straight nooo! ^.^
4. you'll name your children after musical terms like cantabile xD

-Your crushes are all at least FORMER members of band.
-You would rather be in the band hall than any other place in the entire universe.
-Spring is your favorite time of year. (SPRING TRIPS!)
-You listen to your Region Band CD constantly, and play with it.
-You have friends ONLY in band.
-Band is the only class you care about.

Wish that would work with my friends...they don't really care even though that's all we talk about.

You know you're a band geek when not only do you remember songs from _years ago, but you can still play them mostly from memory.

That is mean! (the third one) My bro isn't in band, never was, and HE thought that most of these were funny! Oh well, anyway.
You know your a band geek when...
a. you have more than one crush who is IN BAND
b. You spend your whole lunch period, before and after school talking and/or thinking about band.
c. Your favorite songs are from your band.
d. You try to figure songs out from movies on your own, write down the notes for each instrument on sheet music, and then give each piece of paper to your band teacher and tell them your band should play that song!
