I understand what you mean, alot of my cousins are from Puerto rico and when they come to NY they feel overwhelmed but get use to it when they stay a long time. I guess it would be the same for me if I went to a island or something smaller then NY

That makes sense. I guess it all depends on what you're used to...I went to Washington D.C. last summer for a project thing. In actuality, I expected it to be a lot different, but it wasn't so much. The only thing was it looked like it was 6 in the evening when it was 9 at night...that was probably the biggest difference I could see. The weather was slightly different too. It was a dry type of hot instead of the humid type of hot we get down here...

I actually wouldn't have really picked it as a place to go, but yeah...project..lol. But it was nice. There's a lot of monuments and stuff at D.C. considering it's the capital and all...

Its strange how washington is the capital but its barely ever mentioned, at least thats my opinion neutral

That's true...I think I know more about the history of D.C. than I actually know about D.C. itself as it is now. Which is kinda sad...

Well, the most history I know is when the Washington monument was built, where some of the quotes came from like in the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials, the history behind the Maya Lin memorial wall, and why the capital is located where it is located.

LOL. I didn't even say what I knew about that stuff. That was all general. But it happens after you take AP US History...you kind of learn more about American history than you would ever care to know. But it certainly helps you understand the jokes in historucal movies.

woooooooooooooooooooo AP man I wish I could take a Ap class but my grades suck :C the only class I ever took for AP was english and english doesnt count for me cause thats my major

Yeha...but AP was a lot of work...I took two AP this past year. I think I bombed the AP tests...they gave such abstract prompts...the good thing about taking the AP tests was they made the SAT seem easy...the SAT was still longer than the AP tests, but it had easier questions...
That's junk that they don't count it for you, though. It only really counts if I score a 4 or 5 since 3's aren't accepted at a lot of places...

I dont think I could handle a AP math test, I could barely handle a quiz on math let alone a ap exam, math and me really dont go redface
