Taku smiled at Nala before she caught something out of the corner of her eye, a bright orange butterfly hovered over the kit's head and she watched it before it landed on a nearby rock. A smirk played with the edges of her mouth before she lowered herself to the ground and started to creep up on the insect, her tail held high in the air as she cornered it slowly.

Athari...blinked, not quite sure how to react. Was she really...talking to me? he wondered for a second, giving himself an abrupt mental shake. "I'm Athari." he said, tilting his head slightly to the side and staring at her. "Nice to meet you, I guess..." he continued, smiling slightly, feeling much more at ease, although he couldn't have said why.

Nala smiled and giggled, half at the butterfly and half at the leopard she had greeted. "So," she said, with a slight grin and a cocked eyebrow, looking over Athari as though evaluating him, "Whatcha doin' here? Hm?" her intentions completely innocent, meaning the leopard no harm or ill-ease. Nala couldnt help but be a little curious though.

"Good morning, Nala." Sarabi greeted the cub. Having finished her paws, she carefully washed her face, a purr rumbling deep in her chest and her tail twitching idly.

((Oh my I'm really terrible at this... school is such a pain! I can only get on in the mornings now because of homework! I think I'll stay out of the rp until this evening though, see if I have time to myself tonight...))

Athari's tail flicked idly back and forth. "Mufasa brought Taku and I here...we all ended up sharing shelter from the rain." he said with a wry grin. "So, when he asked if we'd like to accompany him back here, we decided to do so..." he finished, a little surprised that he'd volunteered so much information. xd .

Nala giggled at the leopard, "Sounds like quite an adventure!" she said, with a twinge of envy in her eyes, it had been a while since she'd had anyone accompany her on an adventure. "So, what was the rain like, the sky looked so dark from in here!" she quickly continued, trying to get as many details out of the story as possible.

Taku explained this one as she jumped at the butterfly, before trotting back over to Athari and smiling at the lioness cub warmly. "It was really bad!...me aunt Chakavu and Athari were soaking wet...we found leapord boy here stuck in the mud!" She giggled softly before looking at her comrad, her bright green eye's shining slightly as she looked at him.

Koho yawned a bit, listening to the young ones' story with interest. She was rather exhausted from her long voyage though so it was growing difficult to keep her eyes open as she groomed the water out of her fur. The tale was quite interesting though, if a little difficult to follow.

Athari's eyes twinkled, and promised retribution for mentioning his sodden state when they'd first stumbled across him. "This runt didn't look THAT much better.." he mumbled, grinning nonetheless. "And it was dark and kinda scary and louuuuuud" he said, trying to describe the feel of the storm, rather than just the appearance of it. "It was like the entire world was...dumping out all the bad...cause once it started to clear, the air smelled cleaner than I've ever noticed it to be..." he trailed off, grinning wryly. "Of course, I think I'm due to stop rambling now.." he finished, nipping at Taku playfully.

Sarafina looked up from her cleaning, chuckling as she watched Taku playing with the butterfly, and then glancing at her fellow lioness. "Hello, Koho!" Sarafina greeted, looking her over. "..Are you alright?"
Sarafina then abruptly turned to see her daughter, who was talking to the little leopard cub. "Nala!" She exclaimed with a smile. The lioness stepped towards Nala, leaning down and affectionately nuzzling her, then straightened herself up and eyed her young cub suspiciously. "What have you been up to, young lady?"

"Ooo! Sounds exciting!" Nala squeeled as she remembered the heavy rain drops dancing on her fur during her short stroll outside earlier. "So where are you guys from?" her eyes excitedly looking between the two of them before shooting over to look at her mother.
A large grin skirted over her mouth as she looked up at the large size of her mother. "I havent been up to anything! Simba and I were just.. playing.. for a little bit and then I walked around outside for a couple minutes. Thats all!" she finished with a toothy smile.

Simba lay panting on his back. The cool stone and dust floor felt good to his damp fur. Beads of sweat dripped down the side of his brow and Simba wiped them off absent-mindedly. "Phew! Wow...Nala is abit harder to beat than I thought! Haha, but she can never beat me! Hahaha." Simba thought with his tongue lolling out his mouth. "Especially when I get to be hehe....KING!" Baring his sharp little teeth in a cubbish grin, Simba flopped to his side. "Hey Nala, Nala!" Simba frowned as silence and the background murmurs of the other adult lions answered him. He flipped off his back, tossed his head cockily, amdreached out his front legs and gave a long stretch. Looking around in puzzlement, he wondered where Nala's gone. Not prone to being the silent, introspective type, Simba bounced around the cave asking...
"Hey! Hey there! Have you seen Nala...?"
"Oops! Ow, hey..."
"Say, have you seen...."
"Oh...oh my!! i'm terribly sorry about that..."
"Whoa hey! I promise it was an accident!!"
"Ah..i didn't mean to step on your tail!! Really!!! Oh, by the way, have you seen..."
And on and on Simba went, until someone finally told him where Nala went. In a flash, Simba bounded out the cave with his tail waving in the air and the wind rushing at his whiskers.

An evil smirk lay on the kit's small muzzle before she tackled the leapord cub playfully, smirking at him before her green lamp like eye's caught sight of another lion cub, a male one. She smiled softly before jumping of her comrad and then smiling at the other male cub, her big bushy tail wagging playfully as she looked at him. "Hi I'm Taku who are you?" Her tongue lolled out of her mouth as she lowered her front half on the ground, as though she was about to pounce on him as she had Athari.

Maawios golden body remained close to the sandy ground, she cast an eye over Simba, and let out a sigh. She shifted her paws slightly, stretching herself. She yawned, her pointed ivories shining in the mid-day light. Her tail swished a little. She hadnt seen her mother for ages. Not that she really minded, some time to herself was good enough. Her sapphire eyes were downcast, watching Simba and Nala play around. She knew if they got married then she would be in serious trouble. She shuddered at the thought and let out another yawn, before picking her legs up, and nervously running down to the two cubs.
"Greetings." She said, her eyes watching the ground, spotting the imprints from Nala and Simbas paws. She blinked a couple of times, her heart thudding.
