Sai put her arm around Zee's to stablize her and eased the guard's arm around her own shoulder. "Alright, down the stairs, but nice and easy." One step at a time Sai slowly walked down the stairs making sure that Zee didn't fall. Safely on the main floor Sai asked Zee if she was okay, "Are you alright? Do we need to rest a bit before we head out?"

Paine watched Kizzy and Carol and chuckled to herself. She thought it was quite cute that Kizzy didn't know what an egg was and asked Carol....which seemed funny since Carol had a hard time describing an egg. An eggs and egg. If said "egg" yeah, you know what it looks like....describing it...was a different story. Paine decided to help Carol out a bit. "Kizzy, an egg is something white like this" She made an outline of a shape with her hands...wait...I can do something better than this. She grabbed a little bit of flour and spread it out on the counter, making a thin layer of flour on the surface. With a gentle finger, Paine drew a shape of an egg, which was quite accurate, because, well, eggs weren't perfect circles...just...an oval, it was pretty easy. "See? You crack the white part of an egg, called the shell, and then the yellow stuff, the yolk comes out. Then you cook it, because...raw eggs...yuck" Paine's put on a face of disgust. "So, can you get that?" she asked Kizzy.

Toshihiko pushed the door on the main floor open for the pair, holding it back.
"If you're ready, it's this way, Ms. Zee." He offered quietly. "Watch your step."

Carol giggled. "Oh, never mind" Carol spoke and looked at the child "Why dont you go get everything you want on your pancakes we will finish up in here" She spoke and patted teh childs head before deciding to look around for an egg. After moments of searching she found on and cracked it open over the batter carefully so's not to get shell in the mix and stirred the batter together.
Soon she became pleased with the mixture adn poured it into a pan and smiled as she walked over to paine and tagged her hand softly; offering her the pan. "Your turn!"

Sai helped carry Zee out the door and started on the long and slow treck to the Inn. She didn't mind it that much however, since she was finally going to be getting home, where hopefully Kizzy was.
---
The little girl didn't see what all the fuss was about these 'egg' things, but at least she knew what she wanted on her pancakes. Looking back she checked to see if the cabinet with her drawing was still undisturbed. It looked safe enough and off to the pantry she went. 'Syrup....syrup... Where was the syrup?!' Bouncing up and down Kizzy found the syrup up on a higher shelf. Grabbing a box she stood wobbly on top of it and grabbed the bottle. Setting it down on the floor she looked around for more toppings. Opening a bag she saw some more white powdery stuff, but this smelled sweet. Stepping down off the box Kizzy picked up the bottle and bag and headed back to the kitchen. "I got da syrup and dis stuff!" She plopped down the bag labled 'powdered sugar.' "It smells good!"

Chiaku followed close to Zeejay's other side, watching her face. "Ms. Sai, let me know when you're tired. We'll take turns helping Ms. Morato." However, they were already nearing the inn.
Suddenly, a thought occurred to Chiaku, and she asked, "Where's Seriva? Is she still at the house?"

"My turn?" Paine chuckled as she took the pan from Carol. "Ok" she went over to the stove and turned the heat on medium. She put the pan over it and looked around the kitchen. Is there...some kinda...spatula over here...she turned turned to Kizzy and Carol. "You two probably know this place better than I do. Can you find me a spatula or something to flip this pancake when it's ready?" she asked.

Zeejay frowned, her eyes flickering to concentrate on the ground. "She ran off." she replied frankly, not going into anymore detail unless asked. It was clear the odd woman was enveloped in her own thoughts.
Seriva edged torwards the abandoned hut, her golden eyes still wavering with tears, but also interested. She walked to the old door and lay a hand carefully on the surface, feeling the rough texture.
A hesitant mew behind Seriva made her turn with a start, only to see Worm sitting staring up at her with a twinkle in his eye. "Oh Worm..." she murmured and crouched down to stroak her cats' large ears.

Carol shrugged slightly, clue less as to where they would have one. she giggled slightly and looked over to Kizzy. "Ask her" She spoke, who else in there small group of 4 would know? "She prolly knows this place like the back of her hand" she said with a smile before walking over to where kizzy sat and sniffed the powedered sugar. "Oh, It does!" She giggled and patted teh girls head. 'Ok, kizzy...wheres a spatula? Its a flat thing you use to flip pancakes. We get that and we are done!"

There was a long moment of silence before the sound of the chair inside being moved could be heard and the door opened with Nekura at the door. "...Promise you won't leave like my mom did?" he asked quietly as he watched Cordain. He kept his eyes as hard as he could.
Cordain nodded as he kneeled down to hug Nekura close, "I don't plan on leaving you Nekura...Not now, not ever. So don't worry about it okay? We have to worry more about those fae in the forest that wanted to eat the beetle fae kid.."
Nekura nodded his head and for a moment, he almost hugged Cordain back but dropped his arms back to his side again. "...I don't like those fae..." he stated simply.
Cordain gave a weak chuckle, "Neither do I Nekura, now get to bed, you've got school tomorrow." he said quietly once his chuckle died down before he moved back, letting go of Nekura.
Nekura closed the door now that Cordain wasn't in the way and crawled back into bed, this time he just gently rubbed his mask as he slipped off into sleep.

Kizzy wiggled her mouth side-to-side. 'Where would a spatulae be?' she thought to herself. "Spatulae, spatulae....." Looking around the room Kizzy looked for where she could find such an item. Pulling open drawer after drawer she looked for something that fit that description. There were forks, spoons and knives in one of them. She'd been served pancakes with the pointy one before, and remembered that disgusting stew that was fed to her with the round one, so it had to be the last one. "Spatulae!" She pulled out a fist full of the knives and plopped them down near the oven.

Lori hopped off the back of the farmer's wagon, waving goodbye to him and thanking him with a bunch of wildflowers she'd picked along the way to Astora. As he clucked to his lone mule and drove off out of town, Lori watched him go for a moment, then turning to what she hoped would be her new home. She had recieved a letter in the mail telling her she'd been appointed gardener here, but she didn't know anyone or anything about the town.
Well, the letter had said to find the inn and she would be assigned a house from there. Lori straightened the long blue shirt she was wearing, and brushed off her hands.
"So, time to wander around until I find the inn," Lori mumbled to herself, but found the inn remarkably easily.
"Hello?" She asked, rapping on the doorway and peeking inside the inn.

Ayira sat at the bar and watched Kizzy wander off looking to make pancakes. Shaking her head she moved back to the table she was at and began to place her weapons back in there original spots, but turned suddenly, dagger in hand, as a voice rang out behind her. "Hello...new here?" she said as she calmed her nerves and placed her last dagger away, slipping back on her coat. A woman stood at the enterance of the inn, a rather lost looking woman, kind of like how Ayira must have looked when she arived her a few moments ago. Ayira sat down and faced the woman waiting for an answer, but in the back of her mind she kept thinking about what the owner of the inn said about his son possibly joining the Dojo when she reopened it. His son was the pink and red boy with the mask, she saw his anger and fury towards his father, but she had no idea why he was so hurt. Now that she thought more about it though, he seemed like a perfect child to train in the Dojo to help him controll himself. She would have to seek him and his father out after helping the girl infront of her, she also needed to find the Govener of this village and disscusse her position as the new Master of the Dojo.
