Kargin slowly began to regain his composure, the metallic blue cloud dispersing to the winds. With Kalie's aid he slowly lifted himself back up to a full standing posture, "Ugh...this body....extremely unaccustomed to magic. Nanites...Thrax overreacted. Everything is blurry, something doesn't feel right."

*Brushing herself off as she stood back up, Kalie's height fell a little short of Kargin's. But her composure changed very little, she remained worried about him. Kalie hadn't really looked around yet.. she knew just by the grasses brushing against them where they were. She was home, or near enough.*

"Something isn't right with Thrax?"

"If its blurry, sit down.. till everything rights itself."

He shook his head, gripping the mask tightly, "No! Its not Thrax...aagh...I can feel it....powerful magic...nearby...ugh...NO!" He quiclkly spun around and pieces of metal gathered at his hands, quickly forming what appeared to be a Styer rifle, the roar of gunfire errupting into the area around them, followed by a two sets of knees hitting the ground, one Kargin's, one much larger.

*Ripping through the air, the bullets had to of hit something, later confirmed by the sound of two different living things hitting the ground and only one being Kargin. *

"No! Stop! Please!" *As Kalie whirled around after the goal of the shots fired, she pleadingly called out to whomever or whatever lay beyond. Then dove to the ground after Kargin, her arms finding their way around him as she tried to find any source of injury.*

"Please don't be dead.."

Kargin yelped in pain, not from any injury, but simply from still being near the Titan Magi, whom surely wasn't dead. The Styer lay in pieces on the ground and the Titan gripped his kneecap, shattered from the hail of bullets. Kargin managed to speak only a few words through his convulsions and a thick blue liquid welling up in his mouth, "Titan...must....go..."

((WEE! Gurgling noises))

*Glancing over her shoulder at the injured Titan Kalie paused. How was she going to convince something that she seemed like little bug..once compared to, that not only did the Titan need to go, he also had to forget that Kargin had just shot 'em and could be classified as one of the 'clones' meant to be destroyed.*

*Leaving Kargin's side, Kalie went bounding over to the Magi, arms flailing about to get his attention while yelling up at him, in most civil manner she could muster while still projecting her voice.*

"Stop! You're killing him!"

*Creasing her brows, Kalie humphed to herself before explaining why the kneeling giant should spare Kargin. It was the truth in a manner of speaking, no matter how much she might dislike it.*

"Torment left him to help protect me, he isn't the one who left your palace suspended over the house. We need him alive."

The Titan groaned, not noticing Kalie in his pain, his eyes clentched shut, "How in the name of the nine burning hells of the abyss did you do that?" He fell onto his side as he continued to grip his knee, blood pouring out like a river. He began to gather energy to heal it, causing pain to rip through Kargin's body, almost literally eating him up inside.

*Standing there helpless to stop the giant through verbal means, Kalie instead began to gather and quickly mold the water around her, regardless how small the amounts seemed. Keeping them directed at Titan, the drops gathered and strengthened in crystalline patterens. The chill they gave off in place of an aura growing rapidly from the ground and then up, just below the kneeing magi.*
"Stop gathering energy! You're killing him."

*Squeezing her eyes shut in concentration, Kalie prayed the icy chill would grab the Titan's attention, if it didn't. She would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful method before Kargin was destroyed. She really had no drive to start a war, not over this. I need a ******** gun..at least then he might look down after it fired a few times.*

The Magi's eyes shot open as his gaze centered on Kalie, almost roaring, "What in the name of Bhaal do you think you're doing?!" He pushed himself against a pillar with his operable limbs, rising to tower over Kalie and Kargin. His eyes narrowed at Kalie as he bellowed, "ANSWER ME!"

*Twitching, her fingers flexed in reflection at her annoyance. A similar effect rippling over the ice, as delicate lace work took shape and spiraled out from the frozen blades. A collection of interwoven snowflakes, though short lived, each would sparkle within the heat from the sun's above before melting.*

"Stopping you, before you kill him." *Gritting her teeth, she set her jaw off to one side. Overgrown crackpot.. not my bloody fault you can't hear.*

The Magi paused, "Killing him?" He glanced down at Kargin and the destroyed weapon that lay in pieces around him. He leaned down, doing his best to keep his balance and keep his weight off his bad knee, but as he got closer to Kargin he began convulsing more violently. The Magi backed away, "Its not unlike Technofever, but, backwards. Just like those who cast magic can sometimes be detrimentally affected by technology, those strongly technologically aligned, or born of it, can be harmed by magic fields." He kept backing away, using the pillars for support, pulling a large rune from a pouch on a belt that crossed his chest and speaking into it, "Severe case of Technofever, reversed. Subject convulsing in the area of affect of magical aura. Request footsoldiers or Half-bloods to retrieve him and purge his system."

*Looking as though she wanted to say something, Kalie scuttled off after him, protesting and mumbling off on tangents the entire way. The ice left on the blades crunching and shattering as she pushed by them, the shattered bits either melting or flinging off in some other direction.*

"Purge what? but you can't.. that'll kill Thrax, won't it? He said he was constructed of nano..thingies.. Without Thrax..would Kargin really be okay? Not that, that is really an option ..But wait! Where are you taking him?!"

The Magi winced slightly as he accidentaly shifted his weight wrong, glancing down at Kalie, "He's built up too much magical energy in his body, it needs to be purged. If you are so opposed, we can simply purge him here, though it will likely take a bit longer." Several Half-Bloods and a medical technician that was full Titan appeared in a flash further off from Kargin than the Magi was. They began running a rod of sort over their skin, no more than a few feet away, the purpose unknown as yet.

No... " *Recalling the condition Kargin was in, Kalie gave. She'd rather he didn't die or suffer longer because of her unwillingness or possibly inability in understand what the Titan's were babbling on about right away.*

"If you need to take him, up there.. to heal him.. you can. If it'll give him a better chance of surviving unmarred.."

*Shoving her hands in the pockets of her jeans, Kalie sighed and shifted back ready to watch..* "Let the show begin, I suppose.."

The Magi signaled the others and they came striding over, all gathering around Kargin. Their magical auras and the traces of magical energy had been absorbed for the mean time by the odd looking rods, thus producing no affect on Kargin. The medic looks over Kargin and moves to teleport the two of them, knowing that a point to point Dimension Door wouldn't affect him much, placing a hand across his body and closing his eyes. Kargin twitches slightly from the initial gathering of energy, but the spell fails. The medic looks back to the Magi, "Is there some sort of anti teleportation field here?" The Magi shook his head, "Not to my knowledge..." It was then all hell broke loose. The Halfbloods seemed to implode, their remains spewing across the razor grass and burst into flame. Smoke begins to billow in the area as Kargin begins convulsing slightly once more.
