Because we have a bad mouse problem.

One of the things they love to do is rip open our bags of flour just enough for us to have to throw them out because of contamination. stare

I've declared it my duty to step/kill all mice.

Why?

Because one bit me when I was younger and made me sit in the emergency room for six hours only to find out that mice don't carry rabies.

Oh and no worries - this only applies to wild mice.

I once caught a vole in a bucket when I was 6, the thing was really cute and small. I wanted to keep it but my parents forced me to put it back.
