(It happens.)
He cracked his neck and asked his question:
"Kurai, what is the energy that powers fire?"
He wondered if she would remember what he taught her back down on the mountain. He taught her the energies that power all the elements and the fire energy was the most important for them to use.

He hadn't moved? Why? She knew he was hungry. Her eye slowly rose to look back at him and he was ..kind of just staring at her disappointedly. Was he expecting her to get up and serve him or something. No..that wasn't it. It was more as though he was worried he did something wrong to upset her.
Her heart was heavy with shame. So many years she had worked on her bending and that stranger ..in front of everyone..just treated her like she was a novice beginner that puffed a breath at him. Her years of surviving..of training..she felt like she had disgraced her village something fierce. But..she couldn't just let Taizen sit there and starve himself.
"Go..eat.." was lightly mumbled to him.

Taizen sighed, Niima, what had he missed? She couldn't possibly have heard the conversation between master Dyn and him. But she looked depressed, tired was one thing, depressed was another, was there anyway to lighten Niima's mood? How degrading... He turned to the plates and picked one up. smelling them pointedly. "Eat, mm, food." He grunted, in the most primate voice he could manage. He held out the plate to Niima, she could eat and then fall asleep again, whatever, but now that she had woken up, she had to reach a better mood, otherwise it would be unbearable for Taizen. His hunger had been forgotten, atleast until Taizen had gotten a laugh out of Niima.

For a moment she was..confused. He was ..trying to cheer her up? Geh. She was being selfish. She shouldn't be so sad while he was there..he didn't deserve to see her downcasted. It apparently made him do unnatural things..atleast for him. Though the way he went about it did seem to cause a smile to creep to her lips that she couldn't stop. Mostly because..it was sweet..Not sweet that he was doing it but sweet he wanted to change her mood.
"Taizen..eat..your stomach going to shake the temple to the ground." She hoped her 'joke' would cause his worry to end and he would eat. Her hand pressed to the bed and she attempted to sit up, her hair veiling over her face. She was confused. She had felt sick when she had collasped. She felt almost fine..as if she where perfectly sickless. What was going on?

"Ah..." He said contentedly, as though he had just avoided a bullet. He had no doubt Niima knew the very pride Taizen had to choke down to do something as degrading as that, she'd smiled, and made a small joke. Good for her. He inspected the food on the plate, before pickign one up and biting into it, he knew he should have been more careful, it had come from Kazuki after all, he wasn't going to say that Kazuki was a better herbalist than he, but he did have more access to information on antidotes, and poison than he did, and it was possible he'd put a colorless/tasteless/delayed reaction poison in the food. Kazuki wouldn't go that far, with the war on the wind, Taizen knew 80% sure that even if there was a war, it wouldn't be Air vrs. Water. " He held out the plate after swallowing. "Feel better?" He questioned the girl, who almost looked as though she had a bed-head. He had a small smile on his face that said he was laughing at something, and Taizen probably knew this, but he wasn't going to tell her anything. Niima didn't look that weird, and furtjer more, the semi-confused look that passed over her face as she stretched was priceless.

Shifting her legs she sat up, her hand leaving the bed to come back her hair. She looked over to him as he held out the plate and she supposed he was offering her some. Reaching over she took up a bun, eyeing Taizen quietly. He was ..smiling. He was up to something. She sniffed at the bread thoughtfully before taking a bite. It was filled with..meat?
She nibbled on the bread for a few moments, figuring better not to eat too fast in her state. But still..She stopped and lowered the bread down, cupping her hand with her other against her lap. "I..I'm sorry Taizen for being such a burden."
How was she feeling? Ooo he knew why she felt so better so fast didn't he? She eyed him thoughtfully a moment. Could sickness and fatigue be ..healed? "I feel..much better..which is odd because..Taizen..did..you heal me?"

Kazuki walked into the temple to his room and sat down in his bed then sighed as he opened his suit case and pulled out a pouch with a his poison viles, he closed the door and then grabbed some of his extra chemicals and then started to work.

Seeing the guy walking into the temple, Jin was dull to him. There's no surprise there. Mostly everyone who is older than him will ignore Jin for a while.
"Oh well."
Jin followed the guy inside the temple. He doesn't know if he's trespassing or not. The guy knows he's here so more likely it's not trespassing. Roaming around the temple, Jin finds an empty room. He enters, looks around the room, and double-checks. Jin sat on the bed. "This is comfortable. Maybe if I just close my eyes a bit..." Jin fell fast asleep, leaving the door open.
{[Hollow Point], what do you mean by, keep your posts above one line. It is a 2 line minimum excluding dialogue. Try to keep it as such or I report. I don't understand.}

[Hollow point] Fulgar pushed on up the mountain, his bones being pulled from their sockets with the weight of the rocks. The stress was astounding then *pop* he felt a tiny pop in both arms and relief came swimming back into his being. He finally made it to the 500 ft. point that they had been working so hard to get to. The sun had fully risen it was probably about 10 o'clock in the morning by now.
Fulgar dropped the rocks and stretched and moved his arms around. "How ya doing, Kurai?" Fulgar asked "breathing ok?" now was for the intellectual part of all of the training, possibly the most important thing is knowing about it all rather than just doing.
Fulgar walked a little ways and found a pair rocks facing each other Fulgar stripped himself of his coat, and his scythe. "sit" Fulgar ordered Kurai the rocks were perfect, nice and flat. They'd be here for a while. "Zhin, this may take a while. If you like you can sit here and listen in on the lesson, or you can practice bending, it's up to you, it would be good to hear this no matter what your bending is." Fulgar sat cross legged on the stone his back and neck compeltely in line with each other, he didnt seem the type but this was a meditation position. His hands sat in his lap his lids shut on his eyes he breath in deeply and let out deeply.
Fulgar began the lesson "Fire..." he said collecting his throughts the best to get this through easy was to go through in detail if he didnt then big gaping holes would be left in the lesson. "Fire is made up of positive jin. Unlike earthbenders, who wait for the right moment to attack, we will attack head on. Fire, Air, and Earth each have jin. We are positive or attacking, earth is neutral or defending, and air is negative, or retreating." Fulgar tried to explain the types of jin, water didnt have jin because their defense is their offense.
"Each element uses a specific energy. Earth is chi, water is sui, air is Fū and fire is Ka. Each of the energies represents the element being used. All people have each energy in them, but only one is utilized, the avatar has the ability to utilize the purest of the energies it is Kū, Kū is the energy of the spirit world, a pure mix of all the elements." Fulgar let that sink in before continuing to explain about Ka.
"Ka, the energy of fire, is represented by the stomach and metabolism, it is fuelled by passion, rage, desire, and drive. It is created by the heat of the body, which seperates us from all other benders, we dont need an external source for our bending. It represents the powerful, forceful, moving kinetic energy in the world." Once again Fulgar paused to let the information get into the body. "Any questions?" Fulgar asked hopeful that she was getting the information.
Fulgar kept going loading the information, just piling it on. "Fire can be described while fighting as 'pounding' or exploding the fist outward like a cannon while still blocking. The elements can be shown in a fashion like this:" Fulgar then drew in the dirt in front of him this symbol:

"Each element has an opposite and each element has defining factors connecting it to the others. Our opposite is water, our defining factors are hot and dry connecting us to air and earth." Fulgar wasnt sure if he was making sense or not. He wasnt done yet, but he wanted to answer any questions Kurai had. "Questions?"(17/95) (if anyone was wondering this is the post that had kurai's first lesson)

He wasn't going to admit to Kazuki, ever, but the food was good... Really good.... Although he could attribute this to being hungry. A starving man can eat gruel and find it as delicious as milk and honey after all. He allowed hgimself to finish another bite before beginning to answer. "Niima, your a good burden." Taizen said 'jovially' it was actually werid the ay he said it, it was more like: "Actually Niima... Heh heh heh... Your a good Burden... HAHAHAHAH!" And lightning would strike the background, well, not so severe as that, but if you mied the two together, you'd get how Taizen laughed.
"Well, I wasn't completely sure... If what Taikai said was correct, I just... Helped call on your own restorative energy." Taizen's voice was full of pride, and it seemed like had gained information enough to create a 'theory' on something or other.

'A good burden'. She wasn't sure how she felt about that. Guilty most definately. Regardless of the way he made it sound, she was still a burden. She gave a small sigh and looked at the meat-stuffed bread.
Then came the shocker. Taizen DID heal her. In a way it was creepy that he came to her in her dream then. And without warning her cheeks went deep red. She had dreamed about him. While he was curing her. "Wow Taizen..you ...really are an amazing waterbender. Thank you..for everything."
Her stomach turned when she said that. For one if his ego wasn't through the roof it was going to be blossoming through it soon! And secondly...it made her feel kind of ..useless. If he was so good then he...really didn't need her around now did he? Or was she still..his 'project'. His 'curiousity'.

Taizen nodded, 'humbly' the smirk on his face not daring to grow wider for fear of falling off his face. "Ya, I know Niima." He commented, patting his arm as though bending took physical strength, he even flexed it once or twice. Taizen was enjoying this, it was like everytime Niima commented him, it wasn't bitter, or predisposed like some of the bender's in the south pole, it was real, and now Taizen was admiring his skils like never before, under a new light: Niima's.
"Hey Niima, your still coming with me right?" Taizen asked as he stood u, stretching, he needed to- his muscles were sore from watching over her in the same spot of so long. He looked a little thoughtful. "I don't really want to stay here... I do have to get home sometime..." He was looking into some far away place. "I wonder if anyone's noticed me dissapearing." He thought, he had only wrote a lteer to his parents, they were the weird type of parents, they didn't fume when Taizen did something wrong, or cheer when he got something right, it was just like he was some kid they'd decided to allow sleep in they're house for 16 years. "And I think people will start realizing how great my skills are when an air nomad compliments me in front of them!" Project? No, now she was a toy. More or less.

She chuckled a bit watching him flex his muscles like a macho man. A smile remained as she watched him a bit and it slowly but surely faded when he asked if she where still coming. He..still wanted her to go? She looked down, bringing the bread to her lips to eat on it, eventually finishing it off. As if eating it was giving her time to think over the question.
"If..you still want me to .." She seemed to ..snort when he said the comment about her saying how great his skills where in front of others. Like it would make a difference. Specially as bad as a bender as she is. Wait..yeah he would stand better if he was standing next to her bender wise. "I am sure they will see how wonderful your skills are just by showing them, Taizen."

Taizen's smirk vanished, it just needed a simple answer! Niima was still having debates amongst herself. "I'd love it if you came Niima." Taizen said putting a grin on his face, think of it this way: I've always been a good bender, they know that already... I just want them to see it like the monks did at the performance, maybe with your help, they can!" He wasn't saying: 'I want another fanclub!' since obviously that didn't work out as planned. (Did Taizen have a plan for them?) And true as it was Taizen wasn't excited about performing, that was like a bunch of complete strangers, this was ilke... 'family' Though, he hadn't remembered much 'family' feelings.
