There was no way that Zin could locate Lenore in the chaos. Even though she'd managed to stay out of the flow of the crowd, she had no idea which way to go or where to look. Some people had gathered at the edge of the canal, but she hadn't been able to see what they were doing. ((aka, I fell asleep and missed the rescue mission XD)) She could only hope that Lenore was all right, and that whatever had caused the chaos was no longer a danger to anyone. "C--calm down," she suggested, though of course no one payed her any heed. Truth be told, Zin wasn't sure if that was good advice at that point; after all, she didn't know why everyone was running and yelling. A sudden thought came to her, and her heart dropped into her stomach. Have titans reappeared?! If so, it was her duty to help stop them... But the thought that they had breached the walls was impossible... Either way, she... she had to find Lenore!

Saoirse was not prepared for a stampede and was unable to doge the stampeding horses that came charging at her. She had been distracted by the falling mast and was hit by the horses as they charged by after being spooked by the light. She was hit hard enough by the stampeding horses that she blacked out.

Luckily she wasn't out for long and was able to quickly get out of the way of the rest of the stampeding horses. Her head was killing her however and she wouldn't be surprised if massive bruises started forming latter. For the moment however she was okay and paused to catch her breath and look around to see what she could do to help.

Rescue ALLLL the peoples! The chaos is beginning to ebb and both stationary guardsmen and security escort volunteers are getting things under control on the ground. However, there are still people and even animals in the water! Try to rescue as many as you can. Make sure you write which NPC you're trying to rescue in bold at the top of your post! Survey Corps Show Horse
Axel still hadn't seen Preacher, which was fortunate, because in his nose-bloodied, bedraggled state he did not feel up to facing Preacher's wrath. He approached the side of the canal cautiously. There were still several people in the water. People and ... animals. A horse was splashing and struggling nearby. Axel looked at the horse with deep misgivings.
Only the fact that the horse's struggles might injure some of the people in the water compelled him to toss a rope at the horse. Maybe it could grab it with its teeth or something.
The horse kept flailing and did no such thing. Fail.

Danny felt bad when Shun rescued Rikki with relative ease.
She could rescue people too! The water was .... admittedly terrifying, but sometimes you had to put aside your own needs for the needs of others.
With that in mind, she threw out the rope one more time, hoping to help some other drowning souls. It was odd to be on this side of the bridge.mythee 1. Man With Blue Shirt - saved!

Dancing Troupe GirlHaving saved Mouse Girl, Lenore limped a few feet over to another flailing girl and threw the rope at her. All her practice with Mouse Girl must have paid off, because she not only got the rope into the girl's hand, but she was able to pull the girl in with ease. It probably helped that Mouse Girl assisted with the pulling.

15. Saved Survey Corps Rider F
Shun rubbed his head and let out a sigh. Okay. Maybe he should be helping out a few more people. He spotted one survey corps rider who had fallen in. This was a potential comrade in the future (assuming they didn't get eaten by a titan by the time he graduated from trainee status).
"Oi. You. Grab on." he said tersely before throwing out another rope. Once the rider had grabbed it, he pulled them in towards the edge and helped them climb on up.

She threw the line once more, but accidentally hit the guy in the face. As she watched him go deeper underwater, she shrank back a little.

The horse was kicking and splashing and frothing and Axel was POSITIVE it was going to hit someone in the head with its big nasty hooves, so he edged a little bit closer. He picked up the rope again, trying to toss it over the horse's head. Horses responded to lassos, right?
The horse shook it off, neighing shrilly and lunging wildly in all directions.
Fail.

She picked up a barrel, throwing it into the water the same way she had with Rikki. This time it didn't hit anyone, but it did give one man something to float on.

There was another military person in the water. Several really. With a light grimace, he got his rope ready and threw it at one of the trainees. Unfortunately, he just ended up smacking them with the line.

Survey Corps Show Horse
Axel was strong, but he certainly did not have the superhuman strength required to pick up a flailing horse and carry it out of the canal. So that was out. He had to get the horse to get out on its own somehow.
Maybe if he cleared a path for it, the animal would be able to find the side of the canal and climb out. Keeping a wary eye on the horse's blundering hooves, Axel leaned out over the canal and used a long shattered board to bat aside the wreckage in between the horse and the side of the canal.
Rather than move towards the side, the panicked horse started screaming and lunging away from Axel, into deeper water, visibly tiring itself.
Fail. Was he going to kill the stupid thing?
