"I don't know who it might be." Darian says. "All I know is that they're tied to the curse, meaning they'd know how to break it."

They continue walking on the path. A bit later, Jay suddenly stops. He turns to the elf next to him.
"I can't go on any further..." he says quietly, "There's something here that won't let me go further."
To prove his point, he tries to step forward but his knee hits something that won't let him lift it any higher bringing his foot than a bit off the ground. He shrugs and takes a seat right where he is.

"I guess who ever, or what ever, that cloaked being is it wants to face me alone." Darian says. "So be it. Then I don't need to worry about you, although you can take care of yourself."

The frost being also hits the boundry and, not able to sit down, says, "I'll let you two deal with it. I'm going back north. Good luck."
Jay waves to the giant and wishes his fiancé's cousin good luck.

Darian waves to the two before heading off down the path alone, expecting to be ambushed at any moment. The elf keeps his hand one the hilt of his sword as he creeps farther and farther away from Jay.

After walking a bit further from Jay and the boundry, something comes into view. A few beings are standing on either side of the path, armed and ready. However, they are not moving. If one looked around, one could tell that there are many such beings, surrounding something.
Further in is a being, cloaked and standing still. This being is in the exact middle of the beings by the border. "You've finally come. I have waited for this for a long time," the being says.

"It's time for you to pay for what you've done to all those people." Darian says, walking towards the being. "One hundred years ago and now." The elf draws his sword. "You should hope the afterlife is kinder to you than you have been in life."

The being shakes it's head and says, "It wasn't my fault. I didn't do it, but I will take the blame. But first, let me show you one thing. You should not change your mind when I show you this, though."
With this, the being throws off the hood of the cloak and reveals red hair. The being lifts her head and looks up to him with her green eyes.
"I know what my other half has said to you and how she's acted, and I regret that. However, you know my sister. I have heard that you have fallen for her. You two are a good couple. ...but, let's get to it."

"No." Darian says in disbelief. "It can't be. You stabbed me. You ordered the attack that killed you and your parents. The Arelen I knew would never have done that. This is just an illusion to weaken me. Well, it won't work." The elf swings his sword at the being that looks exactly like Arelen, hoping to break the illusion.

The woman, Arelen Okalwa, brings out her sword just in time to block the attack.
"The Arelen you knew was not the real Arelen. I always loved my sister, though my double didn't love her. I was controlled, but you would never believe me, tainted by the poison I was doomed to infect you with."
She then swings her sword at him, in an attack pose, to prove herself real (not just an illusion).

Darian blocks her swing. "Then why destroy the entire village? Why not just your double? And who's controling you?" The elf knocks her sword out of the way and swings again. She still might block it. Never underestimate a Mystic.

With the precise movement due to all Mystics, the redhead jumps over the blade though it does nick her shin. Regaining her ground, she growls at the wound then goes back into the fight.
"There was a being a while ago, a very strong and influential man. Margem and myself were hiking through the forest when we stumbled onto his property. We were enticed and seduced, his very presence bringing us closer. He then struck out at us with whip-like tails, each one of his tails wrapping itself around us," she says as she swings at the elf, emotion evident below the surface of her eyes, "His tails secreted fumes that knocked the both of us out, which he used to bring us into his mansion. However, knowing his influences, he probably would have been able to bring us in without the fumes....."

Darian moves to block, but places his sword low and receives a cut on his arm. "And then?" he asks, swinging again. I never thought I'd face such a challenge from someone who I've thought dead for over a century.

"He brought us into the mansion," she says, glancing at her shin for a second, "From there, he brought us to the laboratory. After a while, he duplicated us, both Margem and myself. He sent our duplicates to different time periods, though I have no idea when and where he sent Margem's duplicate. My duplicate went home, about an hour ahead of time. He then tried to seduced us to become his allies....."
She sighs and slightly looks downward. She knows that the elf wants to fight, though, so she looks up and swings again.

Darian blocks her swing. "Let me guess," he says. "Margem resisted, and you didn't." Darian swings again. "If so, you could bring me to him and I could put an end to you servitude."
