Rosaline looked to Adrian as she heard him speaking and she motioned for Lillian to leave, who left a bit reluctantly. "All right, though you may want to keep her away from... Roxy..." she said as she noticed the husky tilting her head curiously at the other animal that was in the house; however, she made no aggressive moves on the fox. But rather sat there before giving a small, friendly bark. "I think that we should get you checked out now and just hope the two of them don't hurt each other... From what I can tell Roxy wouldn't do anything and I guess that if you say the fox lives with you I can assume its friendly, though... Never mind... I am talking too much and I need to check you out and get going to work soon." she said, taking note of what Adrian had said about there being seven of something to him and she walked over to him, leading him into the room before giving him a full check over, though only after he was ready. She had some things that he could use to redress the wounds when they needed to be redone. She even gave him some aloe based ointment for the burns that she took notice to.

Adrian tilted his head slightly, letting her check him over. "Rokai isn't going to bother her, though her brother, if he were, probably would," he said with a faint smile. He shifted, unknowingly revealing the slashing scars on his shoulder and upper chest as his torn shirt tore a bit more. He knew the scars looked like they'd been caused by a wild animal, though the true source wasn't much better.

Rosaline finished checking Adrian over rather quickly and she sighed. "Good grief, Adrian... You really need to be more careful... I'm surprised that Lillian wasn't having some sort of panic attack when she saw you were hurt like this. If she saw you? And that's fine. I just wouldn't want to see Roxy or your foxes getting hurt because of them getting into a fight." she said before washing her hands and saying that Adrian could go now. Out in the living room Roxy was just sitting and staring at Rokai, wondering if she should move closer or just stay where she was. After a moment she moved closer, but her ears were lowered and her tail was between her legs in a submissive gesture; all before she rolled over onto her back, exposing her belly, completely submitting to the fox. Lillian had walked into the room and saw this and she gave a small laugh, knowing that her dog, if she were a wolf would be an omega in a pack, though she wouldn't want her precious dog subjected to that kind of treatment. "Roxy, you're such a silly girl, though I know that you want to let her know that you'll not try being the boss. Of course you never do try to be the boss... Yet I know you are more dominant when that mangy male husky gets around and you snarl at him and have him shaking in his fur." she said, chuckling softly at the thought of the large male husky shivering in his pelt as Roxy growled in a way that to most would come off as vicious.

Adrian squeezed Rosaline's hand gently. "You're extremely skilled and you know well how to comfort people and keep them calm," he said with a smile as he stepped out of the room. He was mildly amused to see Rokai nuzzling Roxy's belly as she lay next to the husky. "Trust me, I've seen animals that can come off as intimidating out of sight become very gentle and friendly when in sight," he said with a chuckle.

Rosalinesmiled at Adrian as she listened to him. "Sweetie, I have to be or I'd be one of the nurses that people were afraid to see in the hospital. And I used to work in the pediatric section of the hospital. And when working with children you have to be kind or they'll be even more scared than they already are while being in the hospital." she said sweetly, while watching Adrian head out into the living room, which she followed him, told them both she'd see them later before heading out to go to work. Lillian looked over to Adrian and her mother and she waved her mother off before going over to Adrian. "I can believe that. Most people see Roxy and think that she's a mean dog, just because her father was a bit of a brute and he wasn't afraid to show it either. I'm surprised that she is as nice as she is. Although, I know that she took after her mother that way. She was the sweetest thing and I wish that I could have had her, though I knew that she was loved where she was and having one of her puppies was good enough for me. Yet Daddy only wanted her to breed her... I hope that he will change his mind... Since I think that Roxy might be going into heat and I don't want him bringing that mongrel around then because she might not be so aggressive towards that mutt, then..." she said, shuddering at the thought of her dog being bred to that male husky that her father was trying to get into the house every time that Roxy was in season.

Adrian cocked his head slightly as Rosaline spoke before walking towards the front door and disappearing. "I have no doubt she'd have beautiful puppies, but sometimes it's wiser to let nature take its course. In my experience, breeding is a way of forcing certain qualities to surface... and sometimes it backfires," he said with a slight shrug, rubbing Roxy's ears as the bottle of aloe burn treatment sat on the table near him, though he winced as he knelt, unconsciously shifting his shoulder which was aching intensely.

Lillian looked to Adrian and she nodded as he spoke. "I couldn't do that to Roxy. I mean I'd want her to be happy and not be forced to be with a certain male... And likely more than one, knowing my father, if she'd have more than one litter in her lifetime..." she said as she scratched Roxy's belly before gently petting Rokai, just to be sure the fox didn't feel jealous. She wondered what her father would have said if he saw what looked to be a fox in the house, though he'd probably not notice because he's always so busy with his work to even notice things that should be plain and obvious.

Adrian was mildly amused when Rokai tilted her head as if begging for more attention. "We can check out the cavern if you want. It's quite beautiful and there's a fairly good sized dirt road that stops probably thirty yards from the cavern after running along the stream.

Lillian looked to Adrian and wondered if they should go right then, due to it being late. Although she really did want to go check out the cavern. "Let me get some things and then we can head there. I'll bring Roxy's leash so that we could walk, if you want. I don't think that I want to drive right now. Though I drive too much as it is and only walk when I'm out with Roxy." she said as she quickly headed to her room and grabbed Roxy's leash. She hurried back to the living room and wondered whether or not she should really take Roxy, though she had not taken her for her regular walk for a few days and she knew that Roxy would be anxious to take a walk.

Adrian shrugged. "How we get there is up to you; we can drive or walk; I'd advise driving halfway and walk the rest of the way if you want to get Roxy some exercise since it'd probably be roughly two thirds of a mile to get there if we drive halfway," he said with a faint smile.

Lillian clasped the leash to Roxy's collar as she listened to Adrian speaking. "Well, I gues that driving might be a good idea, since I wouldn't want to be worn out and I don't want to have to carry Roxy if she gets lazy, which she does from time to time if she doesn't want to walk... I swear I thought that it was going to be all right to carry her if she got tired as a puppy... Although, that treatment stuck and now she expects to be carried if she gets tired, even though she is not a puppy anymore." she said, sighing for teaching her dog to want to be carried when tired, as she walked Roxy out to the Jeep and opened the back seat for her and left it open so that Rokai could jump in.

Adrian chuckled as he followed Lillian, though he'd taken the time to change his shirt while Lillian had gotten Roxy's leash. He blinked, seeing a couple of girls about Lillian's age, one that had dark pink hair and violet bangs with blue eyes and the other with blond hair and neon pink bangs. He was unaware that they too were swimmers on the same team as Lillian by the name of Ali and Carmen. He wasn't too surprised to see Rokai leap into the back seat of the Jeep. Mischievous little fox, he thought watching the girls get closer.

Lillian had been about to get into the driver's seat as she heard two girls calling to her. She knew the voices right away, Ali and Carmen from the swim team, though she was curious as to why the two girls from the swim team would be visiting her at night like this. She knew that she had made plans with some of the swim team girls to hang out, though she wanted to spend some time hanging with Adrian and she did not want to be bothered. "Hey Ali, Carmen. What's up?" she asked, trying to keep from sounding annoyed by their sudden and unexpected visit. She looked to Adrian and she could only imagine what the two girls might think if they saw a guy that they didn't know just getting into the Jeep with Lillian. 'I hope that they don't start something... I know they probably aren't the worst people that a person could know, though they're still not completely nice to me... They're two of the "friends" that aren't really real friends... I think... I could be wrong but a lot of girls that I know in school just want to be "friends" with me due to my dad's fortune...' she murmured into Adrian's mind, wishing that the girls had not shown up when they did.

Adrian slid into the passenger seat quietly, watching the girls. "Not much, other than wanting to see if we were still on for that girls' day out the day after tomorrow," Ali said with a grin, flipping her violet bangs out of her eyes. She knew that Lillian was well off, especially compared to her, but didn't care about her fortune. Carmen smirked. "Does 'Daddy' know about your boyfriend?" she said snottily. She tilted her head, glancing towards Adrian. "He could do so much better," she sighed after a moment. Adrian rolled his eyes as the blond-pink haired young woman, sighing softly. "She's cute, but her personality reminds me of a rotten fish," he muttered to Lillian.

Lillian held her tongue as she listened to the girls speaking, but once they were quite finished she spoke and her voice was less than friendly. "I think that I could still go. Oh, and yes he does and doesn't mind one bit. And are you implying that he should date you? Well, I doubt that he'd like you very much," she thought for a moment before a smirk came across her lips. "You know, the guy that lives two houses, to the right, from here has been looking for a girl and you two seem to be just the type that he likes. Rotten..." she said muttering the last word so the two couldn't hear her; her voice growing a bit cooler with every word she spoke. She knew that it was wrong to send them to the man who had murdered Old Linda, though she was thoroughly sick of these snooty girls trying to take things from her that she wanted and teasing her without any reason to do so. 'That was a bit too far, wasn't it, though if you'd know them like I do... Well you might just send them to someone like that too.' she said in reply to Adrian, though the tone she used gave away that she did not like him saying that Carmen cute. Just as she got into her Jeep she happened to see her neighbor from two houses down walking by. She grinned and called out to him and pointed at the two girls from the swim team, saying they wanted to talk to him before she fired up the Jeep and started pulling out. She wanted to see what might happen, which she doubted anything would, not right then at least, due to the baffled look on the man's face as he looked from Lillian to the girls she pointed to with a look on his face that was asking, "Who the heck are you two?"
