"There's a nice dark roast in the pot." Finn says to Matthias as he raises his mug to smooth. "Smooth but potent."
Finn changes his attention to Maddy but doesn't make eye contact.
"Well considering all the effort he's put into this; the staff, HQ, vehicles, etc. it's no surprise he'd want to make his investment pay..."
Finn sips his coffee.
"Not sure what we benefit from burning down a floating town... But hey, I'm not the boss." He takes another sip.

MaddyMage As they entered the common room, Maddy spotted Finn sitting on the couch. She paused and stared at him for a second.
"He's the man from last night... The only face I remember from before all this happened..." She thought."Well, I need a coffee." With that, Matthias went on ahead to the kitchen to make himself a coffee. She snapped back to reality.
"I'm glad at least two people were against holding captives... Archie sure is going to desperate measures to get what he wants." Kasumi looked at Finn "We gain nothing from burning down that town. If we just sunk it, the people could have got on boats, and survived, at least. All those poor people, and their poor Pokemon" Ren looked at Maddy "It was Archie's doing, not yours. We don't blame you" Ren told her.

Matthias returned with a large cup of coffee.
"I guess Archie wants to be feared by all of Hoenn."
"Any ideas on how to get this chip off?" Maddy asked, turning to Matthias.
Matthias shook his head.
"None yet."
He leaned against a nearby wall and sipped on his coffee. It was pretty hot, but the man hardly noticed.

MaddyMage Matthias returned with a large cup of coffee. "I guess Archie wants to be feared by all of Hoenn." "Any ideas on how to get this chip off?" Maddy asked, turning to Matthias.Matthias shook his head. "None yet." He leaned against a nearby wall and sipped on his coffee. It was pretty hot, but the man hardly noticed. "What about EMP?" Ren suggested "Rather then removing it, why not disable it?" "Could a small, concentrated electromagnetic pulse disable it?" Kasumi asked

"I'd say it's a bit early in his plans to gain so much attention," Finn shrugs. "And what's this about a chip in your head or something?" He gets up and walks over to Maddy.

"Archie had me install a chip in the back of her neck. Right now, it's capable of 'switching' her powers on and off and will shock her when she disobeys Archie."
He took a swig of coffee.
"It can't be pulled off by physical force or it will ruin her nervous system, and it's high voltage output prevents it from easily short circuiting."
"It itches a ton too." Maddy said, scratching at the back of her neck. Her nail caught the chip and yanked it a bit, causing a twinge of pain to pass through her body.
"Ouch!"
"As for EMPs, I'm not sure how well they'd work. When Archie made me design it, he told me it was never going to be coming off and not to worry about methods of removal."
He paused and downed the rest of his coffee.
"Orders are orders. I never bothered coming up with a way to remove it and I designed it so there might never be a way to remove it."
He frowned at his empty cup.
"More coffee."
He walked off to the kitchen again.

Finn walks over to Maddy and gently runs his fingers over the chip.
"Hmmm.. Well I'm not sure there's-" They hear a 'DING!' and Finn pulls out his PokeGear. He skims a message and then puts it away.
"Well there's nothing I can do about it. But I know a guy who can help, and he owes me plenty."
He takes out his PokeGear again and begins a text.
"Guy is a total sketch-bag though."

He returned with yet another hot cup of coffee.
"Well, as long as Archie isn't around, Maddy will be free from shocks."
He let out a sigh.
"I think you guys should start working on your teams. We don't know what the next mission will have in store for us."
Maddy pulled out her Pokeballs.
"Well, I recently got back 2 more of my Pokemon, for a total of 5."
She thought about her team and the types she had.
"I want an Abra. Anywhere around here where we can find one of those?"

Ace had came down to the kitchen and grabbed a soda pop for Leon, and some tea for herself. As both had made their way towards the common room, she had noticed a bunch of grunts lying around, and 'maddy'. Due to 'Maddy's' unknown powers, she was rather alerted and cautious of her. But at the same time, she felt pity towards her.
She glanced around seeing if the man called Archie was around. Seeing no one but the underlings, she calmed down a bit. Still, it was a bit suspicious.
"What's going on?"

"I don't think so, unless you want to go to Dewford... Or leave Hoen." Finn puts his PokeGear away and looks at the others. "Road trip?"

"I'm up for leaving Hoenn. Besides, it's probably best for us to stay away from the towns here anyways." Matthias said, agreeing with the idea of a road trip. "We could take the sub to Johto and head to Route 35?"
She had stolen Matthias TADS and looked up where Abras could be found.
"Route 35 has a lot of interesting Pokemon if you guys already have an Abra."

"Actually, Kasumi and I have been thinking about a trip to Johto. According to my research, Abra's are quite common in Johto, including on route 35, which I estimate would be the easiest to reach for us. I have calculated a path to there by teleporting, using three islands as markers. And there are many more Pokemon there that we've never seen before" Ren suggested, and looked at Matthias "We're going to attempt to make the trip regardless, maybe not today, but soon. And turning it into a Pokemon hunt could be fun."

It wouldn't hurt to tag along with catching some pokemon. After all, she did need a psychic pokemon.
"I'll go as well." Ace said as she waits for the group.
