Background / Personality:
Adria is the monster that lives in the deeps. She enjoys luring others into the swamps, marshes and deep pools of her home with her glowing eyes, draping herself in mossy greenery and long vines and pretending to be a strange, will o the wisp type of creature, and when the curious follow her into the gloom of marshes, she will vanish, closing her eyes and hide, enjoying the sounds of their last cries as the murky waters close over them.
It is uncertain as to her true motivation behind this, beyond the fact that she believes that feeding others to the marshes encourages growth of the plants there, and also attracts insects, which she enjoys, having a special fondness for the whirr, buzz and whine of the marsh bug inhabitants. She will occasionally partake of the flesh herself, but mostly the corpses are for 'her' marshes. The marshes are her garden, but she lives by a large, but green watered pool, spending time in the shallows when the weather is warm.
She is most active on land when it rains, as it feels like the whole land is watery, but she is quite able to move around during warmer and dry seasons if she feels it necessary. She is skilled with her tail, and though it can make her unbalanced on land when walking, she wields it like a weapon if threatened, using it to land a solid smack on her attacker.
