"Dusty, eat this, quick!" Natalie gently tosses an Enigma Berry to her Emolga.
Dusty quickly ate the berry. Then, the Bibarel King tackles her again.

This was not going well. Sure, they were slowly whittling away at that stupid pokemon, but it didn't seem as if they were anywhere near the point of beating it. It was frustrating.
He pulled out his lone Oran Berry, pondering for a moment before feeding it to Ialu. It wouldn't do much, and was hardly worth even feeding to him, but it was the only thing he had.
And then, of course, the golbat was hit with an attack, completely negating any sort of healing that the berry had managed to do.
"Spinel!" Lyle yelled, then rushed over to his fainted pokemon, heedless of the fighting around him. He dropped to the ground by his Sableye, pulling out a Revive as he did. Then he started at the item for a moment. How did these things even work? He held it out to his pokemon, not sure what to do with it.
Spinel roused enough to look at the crystalline item, then opened his mouth. Lyle hesitantly popped it into his pokemon's mouth, and the Sableye bit down with a loud crunch. That might not be how they worked on other pokemon, but Spinel seemed to find it a tasty treat, because he immediately perked up and finished chewing the crystal. He wasn't as energetic as when he got an Enigma berry, but he was certainly perkier, and hopped right back to his feet.

Caddie landed another Ice Beam on the Bibarel King, but he retaliated with a whack of his tail, sending the Delibird flying into her trainer's arms like a badminton birdie.
"You okay, girl?" Fin asked.
Caddie waved one flipper and chirped an unenthusiastic "Deliii...."
