As Coraline saw Miza nod she was relieved. She was afraid that she was going to say no, Coraline was tired of being alone and she cherished every moment with Xavier and Icarius. But now since they met someone new, Coraline is a little shy but happy with open arms. While Coraline was going down the aile she found a few canned food, like corn, beans, and soup. Coraline was surprised no one would take these, mostly soup. As Coraline kept going she saw Miza take some fabric. Coraline stopped and looked at herself seeing if her clothes need any work. They were still in good shape but she thought of the others, so she grabbed enough fabric for all of them and put it into the basket. Coraline kept going but really couldn't find anything. Coraline went to the dairy aile and found three cartons of milk. Coraline looked at all three of them but two of them were already expired. Coraline checked the last one. Surprising it wasn't expired but they have a week with it until it does. Coraline thought it would be enough so she put in the basket. She thought for a moment to where they could check, she ran out of ideas."Miza, do you have any idea's where else we could check?"She asks her hoping she does know.

Xavier watched Miza and Coraline head towards the opposite side of the supermarket. He laughed a little, watching the tiny rabbit fly up into the basket of the shopping cart. He turned around and saw Icarius standing there. "Well, looks like it's just us." He said, grabbing hold of the shopping cart and steering it down an aisle.
He examined the shelves, and saw that numerous people must've already been here. There were cans, boxes and bags littering the floor of the aisles, and hardly anything sat on the shelves. But to Xavier's surprise, he found lots of canned vegetables, fruit and soups. He didn't even hesitate, he just scooped up anything that could fit in his arms and loaded it into the cart.
Once there was nothing else left to salvage, he headed towards the freezer aisle. To his relief, he saw about four or five packages of bottled water. He grabbed those as well. Prometheus had already gathered clean water, but it was better to be safe than sorry.
"Hey, Icarius." Xavier called behind him. "Think you could check out the office of this place? See if you can find any weapons or ammo?" Xavier asked. "I know that's probably not likely.. But us three have the food covered. See if you can find anything useful?" Xavier asked.
He continued searching through the store, keeping a watchful eye on Coraline and Miza. They were his responsibility now. In fact, everyone was. They all needed to take care of each other.

A small smirk rested on her lips as Tora nodded in approval, her arms crossing. “Alright… Alright, calm down. We all get it, you’re not useless and your old master was stupid. Now… If you want to be useful to me, then keep carrying that piece… How much can you carry? How far?” This became something that was of some good use to her, really. Tora knew that there wasn’t much use for many people in her eyes, but if this thing, this… Lucius, could do something good, then she’d take it. She had to get to her ship, she had to check on Ziggy. If it got to where this took too long… that wouldn’t be good. The zombies here were too strong. Too smart. It was… a scary situation.
“If you want to be of use to me, I need to go a few miles out, into the open. Whether someone comes or not does not change me actually leaving. You may come, I don’t care.” She turned to Bartholomew, watching him with caution. “My thanks in showing this to me… It will be useful. There were fourteen people in our crew, but I doubt that even half of them survived the crash. If it is for but one night, can we bring them to some form of safety? We can get our own food, that we don’t need.” Well… she’d figure something out. There was at least something salvageable on the ship. It didn’t exactly go in complete smoke. Not yet, at least. █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║☰ ☱ ☲ ☳ ☴ ☵ ☶ ☷

Lucius Cypher ۩════════════════════════۩ "Where there is Distress, therein lies a Story. Where there is a Story, therein lies a Will. Where there is a Will, therein lies a Soul." ۩════════════════════════۩ Lucius felt nice, now that one person saw the value of him. She asked of his limits, and he began to think. He did not know well of the numerical value of weight, but he knew that he once had to carry his old master’s entire mansion for a year. He had to grow into a large black mass, large enough to be mistaken as a tidal wave, but he could do it if he was the right size. ”Depending on the object, I can carry just about anything… As far as I need to go. Where or when does not matter to me, I have been made to… Deal with it. To withstand the pain until my duty is done.” As strange as it may be, Lucius did miss his old master, in a way. She gave him purpose, if at the cost of his previous memories of his old life. Without her, Lucius had no purpose. Being called “useless” only cemented that fact, something that Lucius wanted to get rid of. Sure, this would make him into a tool, but at least he knew he was a tool, and not left to ponder about his purpose in life. He shifted the metal mass in his body and turned towards the entrance. He could smell, past the other waste and decay in the scrap yard, more of the zombies, or at least, the ones he hasn’t eaten yet. ”If you plan to go somewhere, I would suggest that you leave soon. I can smell more of the zombies around. I do not know if they know we are here.” Lucius looked anxiously at the entrance.

Kary turned around. She didn't even see the shovels just lying there. Her head must've been caught up in memories of her brother. She watched Desirae start to dig the grave, and wondered if she should. Logical reason would be yes, they're burying her brother, but on the other hand, she didn't feel emotionally stable at the moment. After a moment, she sighed and grabbed a shovel. It felt weird when she touched it, digging it in the ground. After pulling up a chunk of dirt, she examined the neck of the shovel. It seemed fine. But something was off, and she didn't know if it was just her or something else. Grasping the neck again, and slamming it in the ground a second time, the feeling came back. But what was it? It had to be the shovel, she thought. Examining it, she found nothing out of the ordinary. What is this...feeling? It felt like her hands instantly became clammy and disgusting whenever she touched the shovel, but there was no evidence to support it. She tried to forget about it and continue, but the feeling was so strong it couldn't be ignored, and Kary inspected the shovel for a third time, this time with a slightly more disturbed gaze. She looked at the head of the shovel, which had miniscule amounts of blood on it, and Kary freaked out, tossing the tool. She didn't know if it was zombie blood or human blood, but it was enough to scare her. Maybe someone tried to beat off some zombies with it, or some of the more intelligent zombies beat their victim. Whatever the case, Kary was too afraid to continue, at least not with that shovel.

Icarius had been rather puzzled by the strange talking creature, but he figured it for an alien of somekind and really didn't pay much attention to it until it made a bright light appear from apparently nowhere. That could've been very dangerous if zombies were in the store, but the group once again seemed to get off lucky and there were no zombies to be found.
Icarius stood by the door and surveyed the streets, helmet still on tight and analying things for him, though he ignored most of the information that was showing up on the inside of his helmet and focused on detecting things that might cause them harm. The others were looking for food and he stood watch for a good while before Xavier asked him to find the office and look for weapons. Icarius nodded and murmured a short "I'm on it," before he went into the store and further back until he was roaming behind in the storage area.
The place would've smelled of rotting fruit if Icarius could smell it. His helmet filtered the air for him, and when cut off from air, would supply him with at least one hours worth of air that it would make from the surroundings, even in the vaccum of space. Icarius looked around before he found the office, and inside, the place was littered with bodies. Perhaps out of caution, or purely boredom, Icarius put his gun away and smashed in every single one of the dead carcasses heads with his hockey stick. At one point it broke and he was left with basically a crude spear. He searched the office thoroughly for any weapons they could use, and would report back to Xavier if he found any.
(( Thank you for giving him something mindless to do! Woo! Buys me at least a few more days of inactivity, sorry again ^^; ))

Miza The Cycle brings Pain, Pain brings life, Life brings joy, Joy brings hope… It didn’t take Miza long to start getting comfortable around Coraline, acting more and more like the adorable little moogle that had first shown up in Aliji. She wasn’t sure if it was something about her or just the fact that she wasn’t alone anymore. When Coraline had asked if she knew where else to go Miza just shook her head though, it’d been so long since she’d needed to actually go to a store she couldn’t even guess as to what was around. Although, she did know what she DIDN’T want, since she should partially smell the stench of rotting food from the other side of the store. And Milk. Milk was evil. Somewhat subconsciously Miza began to organize everything they’d gathered so far, piling the cans, putting the milk in the back and stacking all the rolls of fabric they’d picked up in one corner. Making clothes was one thing she’d never done… this should be an… interesting experience.
…Hope brings disappointment, Disappointment brings failure, Failure brings death, Death brings the cycle. ((sorry for the terribly short post >.< Writers block + sleepy = bad >.< ))

Desirae had set Kary down on a bench to get her to relax a bit; "Ventes and I will handle the digging. Just sit tight and collect your thoughts for a bit." she comforted and went back to work on the hole, a tear sliding her cheek. Meanwhile...again: Tina had jumpped off the building down toward the flailing Siren stomping its head dragging it fast to the ground. Upon impact the head popped and sprayed, yuck everywhere. "Aww! My boots!" Tina cursed under her breath. "Phantasmal strike." Elle muttered under her breath and vanished yet again, but reappeared both in front and behind the Siren that was to the right. "The question being, which one is real or not?" Tina spoke to thin air or Saya. Elle had pulled back and arrow while the Siren was confused and turning around quickly to try and find the real one. "They're both real! You can't win against her speed!" Tina called out to the Siren to try to give Elle a challenge but to no avail. Elle had already started a barrage of arrows from every direction she could hit on the Sirens body. Looking like a pin cushion after ward, it just fell lifeless. Falling to her knees when she got back to solid ground; "I shouldn't be this exhausted. Damn this!" She cursed as Tina was setting down Saya and walking toward the last Siren. "I got this Aunt Elle. I know our bodies aren't in perfect working order right now so take a breather." Getting her axe ready she slammed her foot down rumbling the building; " "Hey Mr. DJ(Disc Jockey), whats up with the static?!" she taunted charging at the winged, rotting woman. Noticing the start of a fight the last Siren took a deep breath and let out a small scream at the direction of Tina. She stood firm and took the hit like the tank she claims to be. "Is that it?! I've heard better pounding beats in Classical music!" she quipped continuing her advance. The Siren wasn't giving up, she let out a screech so loud it was shattering windows on the surrounding building. Tina, again, stood firm and took the hit; "....................." Tina's words were not heard as she took the force of the hit. When the Siren was out of breath Tina fell to her knees with her ears bleeding. But, she stood just as fast she fell and took off again leaping high above the Siren; " "Don't expect me to be quiet! I am the ******** Noisecontroller! Earth shaker!" she called out slamming her ax down into the Sirens shoulder and dragging it down to the alley below. Once she hit the ground, the buildings around shook violently, almost knocking them down like dominoes.

Ventes AllaratusxxxxxVentes sheathed his word and jumped down from the roof of the building he was on, using the air to slow down his descent. He slowly walked over to the shovel that Kary had thrown to the ground and picked it up. He looked it over and saw dried up blood at the end of the shovel. He walked over to the hole they had been digging, and started shoveling some of the dirt out. "You think she'll be alright? she looks pretty shaken..." After he finished his sentence, Ventes realized that Desirae was crying. He sighed and started digging. He hated seeing people sad.

Kary nodded, quivering from the unexpected surprise. With the scare the shovel gave her, she was in no state to work, or even think for that matter. What was becoming of her? Or the world? Was nowhere safe? She looked at Desirae and Ventes, and, for a split second, saw their faces warp to something hideous, as if they were digging her grave. She curled into a fetal position and slowly rocked back and forth, the fear evident in her eyes. But why was she scared? It was just a bloody shovel, and by experience, zombie blood had no effect on those who were still considered alive. But...the clammy hands...that fact alone kept the fear that as clouding her thoughts, twisting them even. When Ventes grabbed the shovel she was using, she shouted, "NO! Stop! Get away from it!" She sprung from her seat and dashed towards Ventes, futilely pounding on his legs with her fists. "You don't know about it! You'll..." she suddenly stopped. She felt...normal. Looking up at Ventes, then at the shovel, she backed away, stumbling and landing on her butt, but she continued, scuffling along. What was this thing she was experiencing? It felt like she wasn't herself. She put her hands over her ears and stuffed her head between her legs, sobbing and fretting. It was a whirlwind of emotion, too much for her to handle, so she didn't dare move or look up. Suddenly she heard voices. Voices she didn't recognize, feeding her false truths. "Shut up! Just shut up! Get away from me!" she shouted. But the voices continued, showing her images of Desirae, Ventes, and Kyle. Whatever was speaking to her had the gall to go that far in order to torment the little girl. "Go away! Stop it!" she yelled at thin air. Something was trying to get to her, and it wouldn't leave until it won. [[My, Kary is a disturbed little girl...]]

"How are you feeling now?" Tina asked Elle as she offered her a hand up. "Better, thank you" she replied getting her self back in her normal business composure. "Lets keep going, we need to get to that bridge." Elle informed starting back up her pace jumping from rooftop to rooftop. Tina pick up Saya and followed behind her. "Gah, my ears are still ringing...Last time I listen to that band."

Kary didn't respond for a good while. Desirae's voice came off as nothing but a faded memory, as if she was recovering from a fatal blow in a hospital. She saw the woman move her mouth, but could hear none of it. Even the environment was muffled, as if she was deaf. She just stared off, at nothing in particular. Then suddenly the world came back to her, ad she could hear everything that was going on. Kary looked at Desirae, the frightened gaze still apparent. "Voices..." she said cryptically. "There's...voices...they won't stop." She looked at the ground, covering her head with her arms. "They say lies..." she paused, "They say...I'm...and you're..." She knew her words weren't understandable, in a sense, but with all that was going on in her mind, she couldn't focus clearly. "The shovel...They say...you're...dangerous...I'm...going to die..." she began to quiver again. "The shovel..." she glanced at the tool she held, before Ventes picked it up. The one that felt weird. Suddenly she threw her head back, covering her ears again and clenching her teeth. "Nngh!" she grunted, "GET OUT!" she yelled, quickly hucking an axe at the shovel, which did absolutely nothing but ricochet off, the shovel moving slightly from the impact and the axe landing several feet away. She then continued to cover her ears, repeating the words 'get out' several times, her voice getting weaker with each.

"What the...Kary! Calm down! Get a hold of yourself!" Desirae shook Kary and took her other ax and tossed it aside to keep her from harming herself. "Shovel? What is talking about? If Elle were here..." Desirae thought to herself. "Please calm down, Kary. Tell me what the voices are saying." Desirae wanted to get to the bottom of this.
