The glider quickly moved out of sight behind the many rows of apartments. The Residential district was as cookie cutter as they came, with each building being 3 stories tall and 5 across, with one apartment per story, each apartment looking almost identical to the other. The apartments themselves were built on a grid pattern, with sets of 2 columns entrances facing each other.
As the residents flocked into the area, obviously aiming to get to their houses, biosense would tell James that almost all of the individuals would have an increased heart rate as well as stress hormones, which seemed to have recently been released. It seemed calling for a check had caused several if not everyone a great deal of discomfort and fear.
As expected as more and more residents moved into their sections, the presence of the armored guards would also begin to increase. Several were appearing on the residential rooftops holding long cylindrical weapons that the Suna three had yet to see before. They seemed to, not menacingly or aggressively, scanning and insuring their was no commotion.
Daichi's ears would be bombarded with sound from the moving chaos of people mostly what he had heard was a bunch of "why are they asking for a check now, at all times?" a bunch of murmurs about possible arrests, consequences, and overall rumors as to why the announcement had been made. If he concentrated hard enough, he could possibly hear one of the rooftop guards speaking, but he would have to get out of some of the interference and mass of people to actually get to home in on the vocal patterns he was actually making. The residential area was really crowded with people now, and it seems the guards were on their way now.

Knives just shook his head as the glider passed through. He held his tongue about finding the badasses of the city as they were already right next to each other. "Betcha all this is cause of the wonders known as explosions." He said low enough to be heard by his squad but not the gathering guards on the roof. "I'd say we split up? Or shall we move as one to find who ever is in charge?" Knives mentioned, fighting the urge to stab one of the guards he could probably reach with his chain blades, before noting "They'll find us sooner or later, as much as I wanna start killing I can wait some..." he trailed off eyeing the rooftop guards and noting the weapons that looked similar to what he had seen in Rouran awhile ago, and where the nearest tower to them was located.

Daichi moved a bit staying in the shadows to get closer to the guards and a little farther away from the crowd. With him being close enough he would be able to pick out their words, and only those of the civilians closest to him. Ayame looked around for a better vantage point that would give the team a sufficient view, but also keep them hidden. "Maybe there's some way to take a tower without getting caught. If not we could take out the towers simultaneously, as long as someone makes a clone to get the fifth. By taking control of those we could have a pretty good vantage point of the whole inside."

Ares took only a split second to make his decision.
"We head to the nearest tower with two objectives, gather information and clean the place out while the guards are in the streets. If they are all out doing resident checks then the tower is short staffed. Lets head this way and find a spot to observe. then we move in."
Ares moved with focus then, having Kier do his stalk through the shadow and chaos. He moved towards the nearest tower of the residential district.

I do apologize for the later-ish reply. Gaia was derpizzle today. I know your schedule is hectic, thats why i try and make sure whenever you ahve a free moment to be able to psot that you can instead of realizing that your still waiting on ppl.
The guards on the rooftops held their weapons, looking through a cylinder similar to the one found on James's Valkyrie weapon to gain extra visual distance. Their movements, as a unit, seemed to be well coordinated and scripted, almost rehearsed with no excess motion. Their attention seemed to be focused through these cylinder's on their weapons, and their weapons were aimed at the crowd.
As Daichi stayed in stealth mode and neared the rooftop guard, suddenly his voice would be very easily understood through focus and concentration. "....Yeah they say that 4-4 was taken down with shrapnel from an explosive device" ... "With the AWOL guards from the docks, COM is not taking any chances." ... "You kidding me? With an explosive going off and now missing guards, the perimeter has been compromised." ... "The check will make it easy to spot any evidence that might give us a clue to their intentions, or spot any outsiders that may have infiltrated the black gate." ... "just keep you eyes open, and keep our searchers safe. Blocks A-D have confirmed that all residence have made it to their locations, so Alpha and Delta are going to start to do their checks, and give the Fates plenty of time to do their scouting." ... "I think command will let us handle it. This is to valuable a place to put Fenrir protocol into effect this early."
Ayame's search for a better vantage point would reveal that, as far as she could tell, that their was a soldier on every rooftop. But even then, the houses were only so tall and the Black tower they were approaching far dwarfed any of the surrounding structures.
As ares and Keir moved through the shadows, they were about 2 or so blocks from the tower when the team would notice that the area was very thinned out of civilians and Heavily populated with soldiers who seemed to already be starting the checks. Upon observation, one rooftop soldier used his long weapon and peered through his cylinder whole two guards held the family outside on the wall, street level keeping several paces way with their launchers trained on the families while 2 additional soldiers went inside the apartment. It seemed they would stay in there for a long time.

Knives did what Knives did best, slipping off quietly as he could with his training into a alley just off to the side of the rest of the squad double checking his sides making another set of jars putting a few rocks in each and judging the distance to the toward and watching the patrolling guards on the roofs.
"I'm gonna do it." Knives muttered over the radio from his alley way with his jars at the ready. "Got about three of them ready and pretty sure I could hit the tower from here. Unless you want me to take out that guard on the roof." he motioned with his hands just enough for James to be able to see where he was pointing as they neared the family. "Or those two that came in, can never come out." he offered the urge to kill flooding him, but knew that James would want this to be coordinated as possible in such a small area.

Ayame chuckled at Knives and Daichi walked over and relayed the information to her. She then looked at James and followed his move. Daichi kept his ears and eyes open listening to anything and everything. "Since the crowd is gone he can hear and see just fine now, but that also means the guards are looking now for any outsiders and evidence as to what our intentions are. They keep talking about Fenrir protocol as well. Two squads are checking and there will still be others scouting out the area watching for anyone suspicious."

Ares shook his head for a moment, this wasn't going to be easy, and what he had just heard disturbed him. A child of old myth, James knew the name Fenrir, and that was not going to be a good.
"Fenrir, destined to devour the world. Fenrir protocol can't be good, that's a mass killing of somekind."
Ares looked to the families getting checked and made a decision.
"We are making the civilians a priority. Knives you and Keir are cleaning the rooftops. Leave your surprise toys and keep it quiet. We want them to know as little as possible before we hit the tower." James slipped Silverfang into his hand in a reverse grip,, tucking it into his palm, and concealing the weapon, and then spoke one last time. "Ayame take the guard on the left, and then we clear the inside of the house."
"On my signal or as soon as someone knows they lost men, we hit the tower. "
And with that Are's used art of joint control to cover the distance in a near i nstant and hit the right side guard with a beyond razor sharp blade, stabbing into his abdominal aorta next to his spine, James biosense guiding his deadly blade. If the strike hit home, James would turn the soldiers weapon hand to his left side partner and fire on him before his lifesigns caused his weapon to fade, taking only the slightest second to make sure his shots were off and past before Ayame reached the guard. James wouldn't fire if it put her in harms way.
Keir would follow James instructions soundlessly and easily bound onto a dumpster and then climb up a fire escape to the rooftops behind. Taking a cirular approch he would prowl up behind the covering guard, and looking for Knives move, would pounce from behind, aiming to chomp his massive jaws down on the back of the man's neck and give it a vicious bone breaking shake. If The guard didn't get moved or Knives didn't drastically alter him, he would have 400 pounds of animosity and muscle crashing him to the rooftop. Chakra-1420 Stamina-1175

OCC-AOJC makes James move almost instantly, so he should ben ahead enough of Ayame to fire cleanly.
The near instant transmission of James would be exceptionally effective as he would catch the soldier completely by surprise. The outrageously sharp weapon would enter through the armor and slice the abdominal aorta of the soldier. The immediate loss of blood pressure would cause the soldier to flex up for just a moment, offering the attacker a moment to squeeze the trigger of the launcher weapon and a burst of 5 wind laced kunai would rip from the launchers barrel with a surprising low amount of recoil. the 5 kunai would tear through the soldier, dropping him to the ground as a mess. Both soldiers would pass, and their armors and launchers would fade from existence.
Keirs pounce would be most timely, able to hit the sniper down flat on the roof top before he could line up a shot. while the armor and the flak jacket next protect offered a significant amount of defense in that particular area, the pressure and the shaking motion would cause a crack to occur. His weapon and armor would fade from existence.
James would notice a spike in his biosense, not comming from inside the building but outside it...the family whos residence was being searched. The mother held the daughter and son close, pure fear anger and terror in her eyes. her words were like a mild whisper mixed with a hiss, like she was trying to stay quite but held too much emotion.
"What ARE you doing!? Do you know what they are going to do to us now that you are here, now that you did...did...that!? I didnt help you...i..i need to tell them. I need to cooperate..."
The mother would stand up, and reach to open the door to go inside the building where the soldiers were
At these moments, daichi would pick up some more communications going between some of the other snipers on the rooftops.
"Alpha 2, this apartment looks clean. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Its just a little too clean for a family, but our search turned up nothing. We are comming out. Alpha 3, please knock on building 1-2 and get the residence outside."
"This is delta 2. Delta team is now inserting into Delta apartments, room 1-1. Echo and Indigo, report status. Checks initiated yet?"

Knives just nodded to James, putting away his toys for now. As he lept to the roof sneaking with Keir to take out the other Sniper. Using his silent foot work, Knives pulled one of his blades out grabbing the sniper from behind with his gauntlets covering the mouth of his new found target and quickly cutting into the opponent with his swift blade to remove the head of his opponent as he yanked them before they knew what was going on.
With one opponent down, which he made sure slipped quietly to the rooftop, he pulled another blade from his boots watching the patrols of the guards before kicking one right into the neck of another sniper on the adjacent rooftop, the force should have been enough to impale itself straight into the neck to cause quick blood loss. Knives would move to the same roof to continue his way of clearing roofs with Keir.

Ayame signaled to Daichi as she created four lightning kunai, two in each hand, as they quickly made their way to the house. She made sure to be all sneaky sneak and out of the line of fire of the remaining snipers. Daichi gently shoved the woman out of the way as Ayame opened the door and looked for the men. When she found them she threw two kunai one behind the other at one man aiming for his throat. She then aimed for the other, but this time decided to aim for his eye. Daichi would keep the woman at bay until someone could come and handle her, being a dog there wasn't really much he could do in the likes of silencing people. Unless it was ripping their throats out.

James Cameron Poe King of The Frozen Sand Ares didnt have time for this, didn't have time for cowards or fear or anything else except taking this fight to the enemy and getting this city back to liberation.
"They arn't going to do anything they were not going to do soon enough anyway. They plan to kill this whole city in the next two weeks, and every UHV in this sector is going to die horribly for it. There's an army heading this way with the dawn to liberate this city, and I need you to brace for what's going to occur."
"Now get some cover before the real fighting starts." Ares said. "And if you want to do something for your people, and your family, then go tell every man and woman that can swing a weapon to take some revenge."
As Ares spoke his chakra would flow out to form a massive Ice shield on his left arm, Wolves running across the front of it towards an unseen goal.
"Have the strength to do whats right, you don't have to fight, all we need is your voice, and your oppression is over with the dawn."
And with that Ares was through the door of the house and searching for the enemy, a great shield before him, and silverfang ready for more blood, his biosense searching for every heartbeat and breath.
Keir would roam with Knives to find another target unaware, if he did so, then the man would experience the natural fury of a great panther just as his comrade had before. Chakra-1370 Stamina-1175
The rooftop solider was in for a very bad day. His training in shunkan would allow the blade to go cleanly through the neck and armor, performing a perfect dismemberment of the soldiers head. He would drop to the ground, blood spitting and sputtering, and his armor and and weapon would fade from existence. As he reaquired his target, the fact that he could punt a knife the proper distance with great accuracy. His training in Resuuken would greatly add some fore and power to the kick. The blade would go straight through the soldiers occipital lobe, through the midbrain, and would be sticking out the frontal bone. He would fall to the ground, and his armor and weapon would fade from existence.
As Ayame entered the apartment, the soldiers would be a little startled but the kunai would do their jobs. the first kunai that would aim to pierce their targets would cause a blue green aura to appear around them, and both it and the kunai would fade from existance. The second kunais would pierce through the carotid artery in the neck, and the soldiers would drop to the ground. Their armor and weapon would then fade from existance.
As the james tried to address the lady, she would listen, and then interject.
"No you dont understand. they are going to blow us all up! If anyone from the outside is caught inside here, and the checks are not completed they have a....a explosive, or a weapon or something that will destroy this entire metropolis. If even one person escaped from this part of the city then the same effect happens! You have killed us all! There is nothing WE can do against them....maybe if they kill you guys they will be lenient on the rest of us.... I need to protect my family, not walk them to a slaughter..."
As if it couldnt get any weirder and complicated, Daichi's ears would pick on a transmission about a few blocks away.
"Delta 2, please inform the family that they need to sit back down with a warning shot......delta 2? Alpha team, please confirm that delta 2 isnt sleeping on the job...again......Alpha team?....."
"Command, this is delta 1, housing district compromised. We need fates inbound to confirm the location of Alpha team. It is possible that the citizens have revolted, and they are responsible for recent attacks. Have Titans and maybe a JOTUN ready 5 for insertion. Im going to take the rest of my time for preliminary search of the location. "
"Delta team on me, we sprint to alpha block, cover our corners, and search the block. anyone out of their apartments are shoot first as questions later, understand? lets go!"
James would hear a few heart beats get closer rather quickly and daichi would hear their footfalls, and estimated that they would have to work quickly before this group of soldiers arrived.

Has a cool down equivalent to previous usage. Comparable to Shekuchi from Resuken.

'They've got to know by now seriously. 'Probably, after killing the rooftop guys I wouldn't be surprised, they probably run point.
Knives grabbed out his blade from the skull of the poor b*****d he'd just impaled and pulled out the bottles. "Can I ******** use these NOW?!" Knives asked over the radio not having heard any of the conversation but with two roof top guards dead and the fact that they had been using their radios previously in the city it seemed a safe bet that someone was coming.
He backed away from the edge of the roof and stepped low to avoid any immediate discovery someone might have of him. While having the high ground was often a smart idea in the city on the roof top maybe not the greatest idea. He did make sure the body of the guy he had destroyed with his knife was at hand as he kept an eye out over the streets, weapons laid before him on the roof at the ready.

Daichi looked at the children and then at the woman,"If you don't get inside you're going to be shot so I would recommend that you move, let us do our job, grow a pair, and shut up."Daichi then went to the children and pushed them inside ushering them past James, Ayame, and the bodies. Ayame patted Daichi on the head as he came back to her,"They know someone is here and they are coming by air now." Ayame nodded, "Ares, we're gonna go hide out. Pretty sure you have a plan so just let us know. Butcher is itching to use his explosives so yea." They moved quickly and before leaving Daichi pushed the woman into the doorway. Ayame and Daichi continued there way farther from the falling footsteps of the approaching squad. They looked for cover from the air and from the squad and would hide wherever they could.
