 The Rani "Oh so I should trust a Time Lord?" she scoffed at Jewls, "I don't know who the hell you are, but at least with Daleks you know they're trying to kill you."
She cocked her blasters at both the Master and the Doctor. Her green eyes narrowed in anger. How she loathed them both for pretending to care. They were mocking her, it was the only explanation and even THEN she hesitated to end their existence. Why couldn't she just kill them both and be rid of them?! Her TARDIS blipped on her wrist link.<..."Heav'n has no Rage, like Love to Hatred turn'd, Nor Hell a Fury"...> it wrote out cryptically.The Rani's grip on her blasters tightened until her knuckles turned white.
"Damn you both," she hissed and turned around to shoot the Dalek but the blaster the Master had rewired burst into sparks causing the Rani to miss her target.
"YOU WILL ALL BE EXTERMINATED!" the Dalek screeched shooting the Rani squarely in the chest. For a brief second her skeleton became visible as the deadly rays devastated her body.
"Oh... what rotten luck..." she mumbled but managed to shoot the Dalek with her remaining blaster before collapsing.

 The Master the Master quickly ran to catch the Rani and looked at her "come on Rani ... come on dont just give up" he said as he felt her hearts beat going slower and slower and no sign of her about to regenerate then turned to the Doctor horror struck "this cant be her final life ... it- it cant" he said shakenly as more and more Daleks came down the hall as the Master got the others and put them in the Doctors TARDIS hit the dematerialization switch then told the Rani's TARDIS to return to its previous location then kicked the Hand of Omega down the hall and it started to open, not before the Master quickly draged the Rani into his TARDIS and went to Earth as the entire Dalek battle fleat was wiped out and sealed a time crack to prevent others from comming out. the Master kept looking over his shoulder at the still Rani as he worked the controls 'if she only didnt think i was lying ... i could have saved her ... please dont let this be it for her' he kept thinking

 The Doctor couldn't believe what happened." Come on Rani hold on!" He shouted at Rani. " Come on please!" He really didn't want to loose another life expessally a timelord.

The Rani The entire world was a blur as the Rani felt one of her hearts stop.
"Why is it... every time I meet up with you or the Doctor... I end up losing a life?" she mumbled deliriously. "TARDIS...""Don't... rub it in..." the Rani grunted as she struggled to breathe. "The Hand...?" "Damn..." she closed her eyes attempting to will away the pain to no avail. She glanced feverishly at the Master. "Yep... this body is terminal... well, I hope you're happy..."
She then laughed. "My incarnations never last... with you guys around... it figures... I'd be the first one to run out of lives..."

 Norma was bearly able to reach the Master's TARDIS in time but when she arrived she saw Rani shot. Out of breath she had to know what happened to Rani, "What...What happened, what did I miss?'' She had a bad feeling something was goig to happen later on but didn't really know when or how.

The Doctor then thought of an idea. " Wait maybe we can save her! My TARDIS made a humanoid version of itself right? I could probably reroute that program to give Rani another life!"

"Can you do that? I mean is that really possible?" Knowing so very little of a Time Lord Norma thought it was impossible for something like that to happen. "But mostly, do you, we have enough time to do so?"

The Master the Master looked at the Doctor "we'll have to be quick" he said as he looked down at the Rani "dont worry ... your not about to die on either of us" he said as he reached in his pocket and got out a device "i got this out of the Hand ... well ... a very good copy anyway ... i think if we can rewire it ... you'll be getting more than just one life ... you'll be getting eleven" he said with a smile and ran to the Doctor and worked with him 'im not going to lose anyone else this time' he kept saying in his mind

The Doctor worked vigorously. " Eleven seems like a lot but ok!" He tapped into his TARDIS's mainframe and found the program. " Ok i have the program ready!"

The Rani "You will do no such thing!" she protested. "I have not intention of becoming your TARDIS... or an extention of it... besides... I've heard you say Time Lords live too long anyway.""ARGH..." the Rani convulsed as her gauntlet began to glow and the bits of technology on her person were vaporized."You know, I'm actually... a little touched... but I should mention this is about my 45th regeneration..."

The Master "and im on my 24th ..." the Master said as he conected the gadget to the compure "besides ... it'll sort of be like you started over ... you wont even be part of the TARDIS" he said as he put the helmet on her head "im not going to have anyone die this time ... its time i saved lives this time, instead if take them"

The Master the Master looked at the Rani "this may hurt for a moment" he said as he turned to the Doctor and nodded telling him to go ahead 'hopefully she'll be able to keep this life longer before she enters into the new cycle' he thought
