((Enter Arell and Dundee from Batcave))
Arell slid into the driver's seat and Dundee in the shotgun. After getting the truck in gear they got down the road, he rolled down the window and put his arm out, resting it on the side. His jacket was on the backseat, so his flame tattoos were in plain sight. "So where dis Greek join' at, che'?" the big Cajun asked as Dundee smiled.
"Sounds like a good change of pace." Dundee said. They usually ordered Chinese, Mexican food or Pizza if it was Dundee's turn to cook. Great guys, lousy chefs.

"What do you guys usually eat? Junk food?"
She looked at the two of them more, Dundee more than Arell, mostly because she still couldn't believe that Arell was actually being nice to her in particular for once. For all she knew one look could ruin it... so it was best not to Jinx it and keep this moment. She looked ahead, luckily this place of choice was out of town a little, on the outskirts possibly raising the chances that they wouldn't have to run into any major crime and enjoy a peaceful meal. She watched the road signs and held her hand up, slightly pointing at an invisible mind map to figure out the directions from the Cave. Usually she would figure it out based on where down town is, and out, but not from the Manor.

Dundee smirked, trading his "smart gear" for a baseball cap and aviators he found. "Aww, not a whole lotta junk food. Mostly barbecue . . . crawfish sometimes, but just . . . whatevah's around." he said.
Arell smirked. "Speakin' a' which, Dun', y'all wanna go huntin' up in de Catskills with me this weekend? Gotta git us some venison t' go with them collards we got in the fridge." he said. Of course, Arell was unaware of Kai's . . . not quite being for eating meat (much less hunting it), but it was still a nice gesture. Of course, when not trying to go after the bad guys, he was a right nice fellow.

"I don't hunt, or eat meat, but thanks for the invite... won't come but it's the thought right"
She said in an almost apologetic tone. Kai didn't want to seem rude but she wouldn't hunt ever again even if her life depended on it. She finished solving the mind map that she had and looked to the right.
"Take a right towards town on Oakly then left on Buckington which circles around the town for now. It's a nice scenic, not dangerous friend truck ride around the outskirts of Gotham sound good?"

Arell smiled. "Naw worries, che'. Good walk in de woods regardless." he said as he eased the truck onto Oakly as Dundee smirked.
"Hell, I'll go. Ain't been since we were in Montana." he said with a smile.
Arell looked at Kai. "No worries, che'. Lotsa nice folk I know're vegetarians. Back home in Lou's'ana we got a bunch a' vegetar'an friends. We make sho' dey well taken care a' 'fore we handle meat." he said. Was this really the "shoot first, ask questions later" hellion with a shotgun that people knew?

JOKERS HIDEOUT Tinkerer blinked at the device as Batman's message continued. Death Raider looked over from his computer screen and over at the communicator. ”Is....that good or bad?” he asked. Tink hushed him as he rolled his chair over to the computer the small device was hooked up to and began pounding away at the keyboard. Death Raider watched him, but knew better than to distract the man. When he hushed you and focused on a computer, then he was really, really focused on something. If you made him mess up, then he'd be kicking his chair around for the next three days.

Kai watched the road starting to get a better idea of where they were out, the lights of the city shown bright enough despite it's darkness to light the sky almost a deep crimson to copper orange. Reflecting that light into the trees and seemingly openness of the outskirts of the city. It was weird how such a gloomy place could be traversed so "easily" With the training, and be somewhat safer. At least outside of town they had fresher air from which to breath so long as they weren't by any factories or shipping yards with those gas guzzling boats. She sighed a little and leaned back in the truck, still feeling a little tired, on the verge of hitting the snooze button and going back to sleep. But being around these guys really kept her up. Their crazy accents, and the air about them kept them from boring her to sleep.
"So... are all three of you from the same world, including the wit who isn't here?"

Arell laughed. "Benoit's been in his own li'l world since de judge deemed him insane." he said as Dundee laughed.
"But theoretically, all three of us are from the same world. Hell, we all grew up together down at the navy air station in N'awlins." Dundee said with a remembering smile.
Arell eased the truck into the next turn and shifted up. Both oblivious on the wild car chase the "wit who wasn't there" was partaking in.

A lanky black cat purred as he streached across the rooftop of a nearby building, looking down at the truck under him.
Well...must admit, this was at least something.
Unexplainable, a folded piece of paper found itself in Kai's lap. On the outside of it, was a paw print. Inside was a nicely written letter.
"Congradulations! You and two of your friends have just won an all expenses paid vacation! Full of sun, sand, and maybe even some fun! So leave those city skies behind!
~ CC
The next moment, the entire sceenery around the three changed.
EXIT KAI, ARELL, and DUNDEE to the middle of the desert outside the IO base in Navada.

The Joker suddenly burst from his personal room. Unless Tinkerer had been paying attention, God only knows what happened in there. And if Tinkerer DID know, he probably had no clue WHY the clown had done it. And there was an incredibly huge smile on his face. "Tink-tink! How goes things?" Then he noticed the Tinkerer working; since he was the only guy here that had a purpose beyond babysitter/cannon fodder, the Joker didn't pull his attention too far away from his job. "Single-syllable words are acceptable."

And Tink had't been paying any bit of attention to what Joker had been doing. After the first few days of having security in Joker's rooms....Tink rather tried to avoid watching what he did. Though....he had to admit....he did enjoy watching some of the things Joker had done to Batgirl. He was kind of hoping for another show, but it seemed like Joker was having more fun making this girl scream.
But....both he and Raider had been doing other things on the computer to worry about Joker. Raider had several weight loss sights up, and Tink had been working as usual. Right now, he was doing something with numbers and a map on the screen.
"Batman." Tink replied. Since, one line words were acceptable. And truthfully....that word would probably be all the explanation Joker needed. "Communicator....he sent a message...heard on this....and probably blondie's Comm....." he continued between buttons and keyboard clacking. "Lotta people......using Batcave......Bat wants.....use someplace else......trying......to track it....."

"So, basically, Batsy is being Batsy." Joker smiled. "And here I had just been told that Guano-For-Brains might be running around killing mobsters." Joker shrugged, then continued. "Not that I'd blame him, he's had more than enough bad days to make him snap. Hell, he's had enough bad days to make the entirety of Gotham snap. Still, I guess it would be a moral victory for me..." Then, the clown chuckled. "Heh, listen to me, talking about morals. That's a laugh!"

There was no responce from Tink, save for the clacking of his keyboard. Death Raider gave Joker a small smile, but he didn't quite seem to get the Joke. Or he was still just shook up about earlier. That was more possible at the moment. If it hadn't been for Rosie taking a likeness to him, he'd be dead right now.
===================
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, a little girl with bright red hair hesitantly stepped out of a movie store. A black and red dress covering her frame rather than the signature red and whit dress all the Rosies wore. A litte bag stuffed with clothes and other toys dragging behind her.
She looked around the the street as she snuck back out of the store, her eyes wide, dialated, and rather frightened.
"Too long..." she mumbled to herself. "Too long. Too long, long, long, too, too long. Far too long. Much too long. Longlonglonglonglong." she muttered, then carefully stepped out onto the street to make her way down.
She'd only intended on watching one cartoon. That turned into two. Then three...or was it seven. More hours away then she should have been out. The patch on her arm was usueless, and she could feel the medication she had been on slipping away. And that scared her. Mostly because she didn't know what she would end up doing. And....she couldn't remember how to get back.
As she passed by a few other stores, she stopped and stared at a large glass window that had a few tv stations playing. One of which was of a batmobile that had crashed into a hospital.
She stared at it with large, wide eyes. Then, slowly, a smile curled around her face. That....she wanted to go see that. Why did she want to go see that?
She caught herself, then shook her head violently and quickly made her way back down the street. Pulling a black wig out of her bag and shoving it onto her head.

Joker chuckled a little more to himself, then continued talking, almost thoughtfully, to himself. "You know, it COULD be that chibi-Bat that came at me some time ago..." His smile widened, not quite menacingly, but more like he was legitimately thinking about what was coming out of his mouth. "He's younger, definitely more reliant on gadgets, not able to cope with the reality of not being up at the level of Batman, version 1..." Joker nodded, once again more to himself, "Yes, it could definitely be him..."

"There's more than one Batman?" Death Raider asked, glancing over at Tink. Who....paid no attention.
