A lopsided grin formed when he pushed her hair out of her face, and she chuckled softly, "They're rather creepy aren't they? My eyes now..." She didn't even want to fathom what they would look like as she changed further because she was sure creepy would be an understatement.

Alec wrinkled his nose, considering his answer. "The'll not th'a bad." He responded honestly, now interested the their details as much as he was her transformation. "D'ye know what ye turnin' in'teh?" He felt the question redundant seeing as he had asked the same from many people as of late, but he couldn't help wonder if people were as hesitant to find out as he was. Blunt curiousity was also always an issue with the teen.

"An albino squirrel... With extra tails," she replied, said appendages flipping against her lower back absently. Hopefully, no more of the damned things would show up, to her, she had three too many as it was. That and they hurt like hell when they grew in at once. ******** spine splitting.

Alec was a little too tired to care about accidently insulting, choosing to voice his mind as long as the topic was alright. "Thas fooked up." He muttered absentmindedly, unaware until then that the owner of this island was not only mutilating innocent people, but making sure they were as awkward and gruesome as imaginable.

"Welcome to the island," she muttered, closing her eyes and adjusting herself so that she, and hopefully he, were more comfortable. "At least you weren't here during the two month Survivor experiment." Not much thought went into that statement, which was obvious when she tensed up slightly, wondering if she should have mentioned that. Afterall, it wasn't exactly a pleasure cruise for the islanders then, and he had mentioned pranks earlier.

"Whassat?" He frowned and closed his eyes, laying the back of his spare arm over his face. The teen was almost afraid to ask. Every time they talked about the island or the staff he'd just get another taste of how utterly ******** up they must be, and how hopeless the situation really was. He really should get on those escape plans he was concocting.

She sighed, but answered his question anyways, not one to not tell the truth when asked. "One day, all the islanders woke up somewhere on the island... There had been an explosion, and everyone was pretty much freaking out because there had seemingly been a helicopter crash... Charred bodies and all. Anyways, we pretty much had to survive on our own with only what we had on us when we were 'buzzed' unconscious. It lasted two months, and from what I was told it was all an experiment to see how we reacted with our new animal DNA. We're lab rats on this ******** island." The last comment made her think of Chert, and the irony of his impending transformation.

A shiver ran up Alec's spine though he tried to repress it, never being one to enjoy the mention of death. He swallowed hard and remained silent as he listened and even after she had finished her explanation in almost a mute shock. The realization that they could do anything they wanted to him at any moment in time hit him like a sack of potatoes, fear chilling him from the inside as he began to think. He wanted to ask if anyone was hurt, if they ever IDed the bodies they found but found himself to be too afraid to muster the courage.

Unfortunately, Antony didn't know anything about the fact that the bodies were already dead cadavers and that no one was actually murdered. However, she had a good guess on what was going through his mind, so she pulled him closer to her and leaned up to press a kiss to his temple. "I don't think they'd do that again... The fact that people know about the last one adds too many variables to the 'experiment.'"

Alec smiled as she kissed the side of his face, thankful that she had left it at that. "Ye, th' mice are gettin' smart now." He couldn't help but smirk. His early predictions were that the island staff would definetly get a rude awakening some day. The population was growing as he could see, and it'd be a matter of time before they'd lose control.

Stiffening his back, he flinched at the sick feeling in his stomach that was partly due to the fact he hadn't eaten in awhile. He was always forgetting to eat. "Imma grab somethin from th'caf, alrigh'?" He looked down at Antony hoping she'd let him go easy. It's not like he really wanted to leave.

Antony frowned at the mice comment, knowing that any and every attempt to harm the staff or escape had already failed. Hopefully he wouldn't try anything and end up like Billy, lacking an important piece of the family jewelry.

Nodding at his question, she loosened her grip on him and sat up so she could get herself a cigarette. First a smoke, and then she'd shower. "Sounds good," she said, not really expecting him to drop by afterwards and perfectly okay with that.

Alec yawned and happily sat up, peering around tiredly for his various peices of clothing. "A'll seeya lateh." He mumbled distractedly as he dressed, pulling his hood over his messy hair. He felt like sleeping, his body protesting to his abrupt movements but he knew he should really get some food or something.

He quietly left without much thought, numb with sleepiness as he shut her door behind him.

Nita MacNeal
Nita made her way from her duplex to the cafeteria, figuring she'd grab a hot meal instead of living off of what she had stored in her minifridge. As usual, she was dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt, her long hair braided back. Her fair skin was slightly pink and her freckles more pronounced from her exposure to the sun. She glanced at the notice on the door regarding Fee's party, reminding herself to get in touch with neighbor about that before long.

Grabbing a tray, she went through the line, picking out a simple salad and some pasta. She sat at an unoccupied table in a corner, pulling out her ever-present book to read while she ate.

Antoinette Devereux
Antony, with a cigarette in hand, was about to open the door and stroll right in when she saw someone else there, and with an eyeroll, she took one last long drag before dropping the smoke and snuffing it out with her shoe. She was tired, but in a relatively good mood, thanks to a certain Irish teenager.

Nodding towards the redhead, she gathered her own tray full of food, making sure to grab a bowl full of nuts and seeds for later. So far, they had been the only dietary change her body had demanded. "Mind if I join you?" The tattooed woman asked, tails flicking behind her warily at the new girl, "I'm Antony."

If she freaked out, so be it.

Nita MacNeal
Nita jumped slightly, having been absorbed in her book, but nodded. "Sure, have a seat." She looked up, noting the woman's fur and odd eyes, wondering where she'd heard the name before.

Oh.

Her eyebrows raised before she could stop them, putting her book aside. "I'm Nita," she said simply.

Antoinette Devereux
"You've heard of me?" She inquired while sitting down, raising her eyebrows herself, it's not like the look Nita had given her was entirely foreign to her. "Which girl is gossiping about me now?" The second question was stated bluntly and surprisingly without the least bit of anger. Girls who didn't understand her tended to form negative opinions rather quickly. Mostly because they thought she was 'hogging' all the men from being in loving, caring relationships with them.

Nita MacNeal
"What? No one's said anything to me." Nita paused a moment, wondering how to word the next part delicately.

"I live in duplex 42. Above Alec." She coughed, expertly twirling a bit of pasta around her fork, and gave Antony a bland look. A smile twitched at the corners of her mouth, and she took a drink to cover it.

Antoinette Devereux
"Entirely sucks to be you," she grinned, obviously not ashamed that this girl knew she and Alec had been having sex, "And I'll try and keep that at my duplex, so you don't have to be bothered by that... Can't help you with the drums though..."

Antony chuckled, taking a few bites of her food before chewing thoughtfully, "Who have you met so far?"

Nita MacNeal
Nita made a face. "The drums are a bit much, yeah. And thanks for the concern," she added, only a little bit sarcastic. She wrinkled her nose and grinned to take the sting out of her words.

"Who've I met?" she repeated, giving herself a moment to formulate a list. "Um, Lauren, Emelyn, Cass, Amaya, Rex, and Zach. Oh, Annie and Fee, who live next door, plus you and Alec, of course." She took a few bites of her salad. "How many people are there here, anyway?"

Antoinette Devereux
"I don't think I've met the first two, but as far as the amount of people here, at least 42 now..." She shrugged, taking a drink of her water before popping a few walnuts into her mouth. The number seemed to just keep going up and up at an alarming rate.

Nita MacNeal
"Geez," Nita muttered. "I wonder if anyone else has shown up since I arrived..." She stared at the table for a few minutes, poking at her book. "How'd you end up here?"

Antoinette Devereux
"Won a free vacation," she said gruffly through the food in her mouth, swallowing before continuing, "Merry ******** Christmas huh?"

Nita MacNeal
"Ha!" Nita laughed humourlessly. "I was supposed to be doing a study-abroad type of thing. So much for that, hm?" She shrugged. Then, remembering something Emelyn had told her, she continued, "Damn, so you were just in time for that lock-out, right?"

Antoinette Devereux
"Oh yes, two months on the beach... I've never been so sick of coconut and sand," she frowned, but shrugged her shoulders. It had happened, and was now over. There wasn't much she could do about it now.

Nita MacNeal
"Hmm," Nita muttered, not really knowing what to say next. She hadn't had nearly this much trouble talking to Cass or Em. Looking down at her plate, Nita realized she'd finished her dinner.

"Well, I think I'm gonna get going... It really was nice meeting you, Antony." Nita smiled. It actually had been nice, if a bit awkward.

Antoinette Devereux
Antony nodded, waving good-bye to the red head before returning to her dinner, "Nice meeting you too Nita."

Nita MacNeal
Nita grabbed her book and bussed her tray. With a quick wave to Antony, she exited the cafeteria.

Maybe she'd take a walk in a bit. It was nice on the beach at night, and she didn't worry about getting burned.

When the change overtakes you, your entire body aches and your skin is on fire. The worst pain of all though is in your rear side, at the bottom of your tailbone. Even as you watch, fur spreads over your body, thickening in areas where it was before and growing in entirely new areas.

You feel a pain go through your feet as you look down and see them scretching and changing rather severely. They grow larger and longer as you find your natural balance is on your now clawed toes.

Your face begins to scretch and reshape, as you close your eyes to escape the pressure and pain and when you reopen your eyes they are a completely light red and more sensative to sunlight. Your ears grow larger as well and your mouth reshapes into a muzzle.

Your hearing and sense of smell seem to have increased decently as you can smell your own sweat from the discomfort and pain. As you feel your tailbone split again, as your old tails grow longer and you feel two more grow in.

If you look in a mirror, you can see just how much your face has changed. It is obviously now designed to be much more adapt at holding and storing... nuts.
