((Sorry I've been gone, I got hit really hard by homework the last two days, I've barely had time to breathe ^^; I'm giving myself a day off for today, but I'll be right back to my many projects for the rest of the weekend.))



Zero felt himself relaxing as coldness, true coldness, descended on him. He dared to let himself loosen his painful grip on his magic as the fire began to retreat.

Atra didn't didn't budge when Lucy came, and possibly didn't even notice, except that Zero seemed to be resisting his own ice magic less. He just continued his prayer to Arceus, something he's done much more often recently.

The eevee started feeling warmth and comfort flood into his body. It took all of his willpower to take that healing magic out of himself and channel it to the Glaceon. Atra opened his eyes, surprised to see Lucy. So that was why he had felt less heat resisting his own magic. Being an ice type, the Weavile's ice magic was probably much stronger than that of Atra's own.

The eevee stumbled off the bed, more than willing to let Lucy handle this. He was exhausted, soaking wet, and felt like a wreck. He shivered from the cold water that had saturated his fur, but his inside burned as if with a fever- he had to take the heat somewhere from Zero's body, and Atra's own was the easiest place to channel it to through the magic.

Atra stood there, shivering and panting at the same time on the ground, staring up at the bed. He had always planned to evolve into a Glaceon, despite telling everyone he hadn't decided yet. But a part of him was scared now- once he evolved, he would have to fear things he took for granted, like fire.

Atra took one last look back, and left the room to go and find Katara.

Zero's tail twitched as he felt energy pouring into him, so much of it it was a shock. A soothing, comforting shock. ((Atra's Wish)) Wait...his tail twitched?

He tried to move his paw and it lifted a few centimetres before dropping back onto the bed. The paralysis was going away. Having regained some of his control, Zero redoubled his efforts to extinguish the Fire move that was feeding off his magic.

And finally, eventually, it was gone.

He relaxed his tense muscles, his tail slowly coming up and slapping back down onto the bed with a dull thud. As his body temperature began to drop down back to normal, aided by Lucy, the waterlogged bed began to freeze beneath him.

"Thank you..." Exhausted, he fell asleep.
