"MICHEAL!" Watari shouted at him, having been pushed out of the way.
Instead of getting back between demon and shinigami against however... the scientist pulled out an ofuda and quickly chanted a short spell.
A protective barrier put itself up around Micheal... and it would hopefully hold long enough for Watari to figure out what was happening.
"Otori, calm him down, please." the scientist spoke, dashing back to Tsuzuki's side. "Tsuzuki... what happened? Why is Muraki here? He's dangerous... and... and why did you try to exorcise him?"

"Please...please please please just leave Muraki alone! He's innocent! Oh kami-sama....he's so innocent!" Tsuzuki pleaded. "It's been his brother all along! He's been possessed by his dead brother, Saki! This whole time, Muraki Kazutaka wasn't at all who we thought, trust me! I've spent a good deal of time with he real Muraki, and...and I love him!"
The look on Tsuzuki's face spoke of nothing but absolute sincerity. Reaching out, the shinigami took hold of Watari's lab coat, clinging to it for dear life.
"Please believe me, Watari! Please help me! The exorcism wasn't enough. Saki's down for the count for a good while now, but he's still in there. Please!"

Otori stood slackjawed in horror at the events that were unfolding. Micheal was ready to destroy this shinigami, and that somehow frightened Otori more than anything else. If he killed a shinigami, that wouldn't go unnoticed, nor unpunished.
The angel gasped as a barrier shield surrounded Micheal, but he did as Watari instructed. Rushing to the demon's side, he put his hands up against the barrier and looked in at his lover, begging him to stop.

"Tsuzuki..." Watari whispered, kneeling down and removing his friend's hands from his coat. "Why didn't you tell me sooner? Why hide this?"
The scientist felt a bit betrayed... and yet...
Amber eyes strayed to Muraki for a long moment.
He knew what the man had done to Tsuzuki before... to Bon... hell even to Tatsumi as he and the kagetsukai had stood there watching Tsuzuki die...
"I... don't want to forgive him but..." Watari closed his eyes for a moment before reaching out and pulling Tsuzuki against his chest. "Calm down, Tsuzuki-chan... I'm not going to hurt him. I just don't want him waking up and hurting you..."

"He won't...he won't..." Tsuzuki bawled, pressing his face into Watari's chest as he cried.
Tsuzuki knew that Muraki wouldn't hurt him. Ever. And Saki wasn't able to get out...for a while. He just couldn't predict exactly how long that while would be. Long enough, he hoped.
"Yutaka...we have to take care of him."

Micheal didn't quite roar in rage as his first blow met with the shielding spell. He was quite ready to shatter the spell simply by building up enough power to make the shield explode outward. On some level, he took notice of Otori's presence outside the shield. Growling, he tried to bite back the growing anger at this whole situation. His talons balled into fists, the sharp claws actually peircing his own flesh. The demon knew that he could easily shatter the shield as well as destroy everyone in this room.
Taking a deep breath, while his body shook with anger, he tried to calm his own rage. He wasn't used to be thwarted in pursuit of something he wanted. It really wasn't surprising that the shield seemed to shake a moment as well. After a long moment, he looked over at Otori, and that seemed to bring his anger under control. Micheal placed a claw against the inside of the shield spell where one of the angel's hands were. It looked like he was silently asking the angel's forgiveness for losing his temper.

Once Micheal was calmed down a little, Watari released the barrier spell.
But his focus was still on the amethyst-eyed shinigami in his arms.
"I'll help, Tsuzuki-chan... I'll help you take care of him but..." the scientist shook his head sadly, "I don't have the power needed to fight him if his brother regains control. Maybe you could let me run a few tests... let me figure out his triggers... I could try and devise a way to keep this brother at bay indefinitely."
Of course, there was no guarantee he could do that.
"You're my best friend, Tsuzuki-chan... I'm not about to let you be destroyed, mentally or physically by this man... be it Muraki himself... or the spirit of his brother."
(((OOC: And... now to bed. I'm sooooo freakin sleepy. I'll be around tomorrow night though!)))

Nodding at everything Watari said, Tsuzuki began to calm down a little bit at a time.
"Arigato..." the shinigami sighed, relaxing and letting go of Watari. Turning his attentions back to Muraki, he lifted the doctor's limp body up into his lap, cradling his head gently as he stroked his silky hair.
"Kazu...wake up, please. Everything is alright. We're going to be alright..."

Micheal stood protectively in front of Otori and glared daggers at Tsuzuki. He still wasn't totally sure what was going on. Clawed hands flexed at his sides but he remained, planted firmly in front of Otori. His expression was far from civil but at least he didn't seem inclined to attack at the moment.

Otori was still trembling, but he did the best he could to pull himself together. Wrapping his arms around Micheal from behind, he tried to speak soothingly.
"Please calm down, my love. I do believe everything is ok."
The angel reached down to take Micheal's hand, trying not to cut himself on the razor sharp claws.

Micheal felt Otori's arm around his waist and his hand against the palm of one of his hands. The angel did have a calming effect on him. The demon let himself be calmed by the angel's words and the warmth of him against his back. He let his hands shift back to human seeming, it still did nothing to stop the blood oozing out of the marks where his claws had punched through his own skin.
"For your sake only." The dark haired man still looked irritated at the whole situation but at least he wasn't ready to shred any who stood in his way.

"You performed an exorcism, right?" Watari asked softly, putting a hand on Tsuzuki's shoulder as he stood next to the kneeling man. "Muraki could be out for a while... how about we make him comfortable on the couch while we figure out the next course of action?"
Watari wasn't about to suggest they put the deranged doctor in his bed.

"Yeah...I did the exorcism. I guess...I guess I just wasn't strong enough though. Not quite. Help me pick him up, Yutaka?" Tsuzuki lifted Muraki's head and shoulders up off the ground, nodding for the blond to take the legs.

Micheal chuckled, a derisive sound. He made no move to help or hinder Watari and Tsuzuki. In fact, he had no intention of helping Tsuzuki at all. Granted between the demon and the angel they could probably exorcize pretty much anything. . but they didn't need to know that. Even without him being fully healed, he knew he was more than a match for anyone in this room. He wasn't sure wether he could best Otori or not, but he had other things he'd rather do to his love than fight.
